I called Precision Plus for a plumbing issue (blocked sewer drain inside basement) in Philadelphia. I called on a Sunday and Derrick was able to assist the same day. Professional and offered multiple options for fixing the problem. Much appreciated.

I just called to request an appt for a hot water heater and installation. He (Derrick) told me if the price ($500 -$3000) , is a concern for the price of the hot water heater only, is a problem than I should use Home Depot. I did not know that Home Depot completed installations, thanks for the recommendation Precision Plus. Great Job! He was argumentative and lacks professionalism. I will keep my $59 service fee and my $3000 in my pocket. So the scam is this: He will charge a $59 service fee to come out, ask for the money upfront, and then provide you with this quote that is UBER ridiculous so that you can say, "NO" and continue this cycle until someone bites on Derrick's crazy ass estimates. By the way he quote a gold, silver and bronze way of fixing your issue. Don't forget to check the YELP reviews.

When I called to make an appointment for a plumbing service the man that answered the phone just says “ who is this and what is your address”. He never announced this is Precision Plumbing how may I help you. I quickly asked him, please very if this is Precision Plumbing before asking my address. If that’s how the service starts it’s only downhill from there. I announced I won’t be needed your services after all and called another plumber.

Derrick was professional and patient. He explained all of the problems, possible solutions, and costs. I agree with the other reviews - immediate response and excellent service. I would recommend Derrick and Precision Plus Plumbing to neighbors and friends.

I am new to the area and usually very anxious about finding new service providers online, but I have to say, I was very impressed with the entire experience with Precision Plus Plumbing. The service was impeccable and the technician, Derrick, was knowledgeable, efficient, and very respectful of my time and my home. Overall I would say that this was a 5 star experience!

Excellent company!!! I recommend them to everyone. The plumber was very intelligent and definitely came prepared. He had everything he needed in his truck to fix my leaking toilet. The estimate was upfront, honest and fair. I will definitely call this company again for all my plumbing needs.

I'm going to preface this review by saying that I don't normally give 5 stars. That being said I was very impressed with this company. I have used them twice both for emergencies. The plumber showed up within a few hours and fixed the problem efficiently. There were no surprises and the repairs done fit my requirements perfectly (in the latest case there was a small access panel that was tough to work through). I have recommended this company to my neighbors when they need a plumber. Perfectly professional and prompt. The people who I talked to on the phone and the technicians themselves were polite and friendly and there was no hidden pricing. Very happy.

Don't be put off by Derrick's initial phone contact. As a retired 12th grade teacher, many of our talented students lacked social skills. In fact, it sounded like I woke him up when I called. Derrick showed up on time, reviewed several plumbing concerns in our home, and gave estimates on each. He's a bit pricey, but his work was excellent. We will be using him again for our next project.

I rent an apartment and a drain in our building burst around 11pm last night. I called Precision and one other plumbing company - the other company told me it would take up to 4 hours for them to get here, Precision said they'd be here within the hour and they were. Derrick was so helpful and honest and even drew me a picture of what happened. I highly recommend them!

First, they were 8hrs LATE. I was told $59 to come out and that would be deducted if any work was done. So in the middle of checking the leak by spraying soap on the pipe he took a 20min business call in my home on my time. There was no gas leak detected so he decided to charged me $149.00 for coming out to check. I said well you said it would be $59 and he got highly aggressive saying he just did work by checking for a leak. He called spraying soap solution on a pipe to detect a leak work. I did not get a written estimate or notification up front of this work he charged me for!!! I got scammed aggressively. Very disappointing and I could not sleep. I should have listened to the vibes I got from the initial call and found someone else because the Ancestors don't lie!!!
Can't trust these websites. Also I asked him was my pipes good he said well the important thing is that they are not leaking, very unprofessional comment.

My kitchen sink backed up this week and I tried to use liquid plumber when that did not work, I realized the problem was more serious. I found that water was leaking in my garage so I knew it was an urgent problem. I found Derrick using zip code search online. All of his reviews were so good and his place of business office was across the street from my home! I called this morning and he came out at 3p from leaving a job in W Philly. Derrick could tell that I was upset and he listened to my concerns with the water leak. He calmly checked all possible problems and sovled my problem in no time. He was professional and courteous. I have found my new local plumber!!! Thanks Derrick for your prompt attention to my problem. I greatly appreciate it .

Normally I do not bother reviewing businesses, but Derrick was so exceptional it would be unfair to not express my satisfaction in this case. Two days after initially contacting another plumber and his discontinuing communication and calls to several others that did not lead to a response Precision responded to my message and Derrick arrived within an hour on a rainy night. He was extremely professional and quickly assessed and corrected the problem with my sink/pipes, doing everything within his power to minimize the mess in the process. I would recommend Derrick wholeheartedly without any hesitation, and he will be my first call next time I find myself in need of a plumber.

This is a SCAMMER!

I'm giving this plumber one star because there's no option for zero. This is the WORST plumber I've ever had. I only called him because of the 4.7 rating but I found out he has other businesses with a similar name that has a 1 star rating!! I regret everything! Initially, I called to get advice on a faulty water valve. I was fixing the toilet system in the tank. He insisted on coming out because he was around the area. He looked at my toilet. I didn't want him to fix anything, but he insisted on fixing the toilet water valve. I said "okay but how much?"-- he sent me an invoice for $578.76!!! Because the job only took him 5 minutes, as I was declining the invoice he already finished and told me I still need to pay. I told him I did not want your service if it's going to cost this much. He started arguing with me and threatening to send the bill to collections. I am currently in a dispute with a collection agency. This man is a scammer. I had another plumber come in and fix a leaking ceiling. He had to check the same toilet. He did a fantastic job fixing everything. But he mentioned he had to fix the toilet water valve because it wasn't done right. He fixed it for free. Precision Plumbing didn't even fix the toilet water valve properly and charged me almost $600!!!

Derrick came by to assess the job of shower repair the day I called, scheduled my plumbing repair almost immediately. He did a wonderful job of repairing my shower and fixing the other problems that revealed themselves when he got into the walls. Personable, and professional, he is a craftsman of the old school. I recommend him highly.

Derrick fixed our furnace quickly and efficiently. Derrick arrived within the service window and phoned 30 minutes prior to his arrival, which was very helpful. Once he arrived, he walked us through all the possible issues and made sure we were comfortable with the potential cost before doing anything. The work was completed seamlessly and I'm happy to say the house is now toasty warm again! Derrick was friendly and personable. I would highly recommend Derrick and Precision Plus Plumbing to all our neighbors and friends! Thanks Derrick!

Derrick and Khalid came out to replace a corroded feed line on our water heater. Another plumber had barely looked at the corrosion and told us to replace the entire unit, but Derrick was quick to point out that the rest of the unit seemed to be in good shape and a new feed line would have it humming along for a few more years. Derrick was responsive, the job was well done, and when another issue became apparent during the repair, the increase in price felt extremely fair.

All in all, we saved well over $1,000 and saved a perfectly good water heater from ending up in the junkyard. Can't recommend these guys enough if you're looking for an honest and skilled plumber.

I called for an emergency pipe valve repair, and this company, specifically Derrick, came to the rescue! He was incredibly knowledgeable, worked quickly, and delivered reliable service. What impressed me the most was his patience in explaining the issue and answering all my questions. If you’re looking for a trustworthy and efficient plumber, this company is the one to call!

We agreed on 175.00 for a back drain job removing wipes. After the job he told me it was a lot of wipes and he charged me 750.00 for the job. This is not fair since we agreed on the price.
