Great ppl, hard working and very professional

They have a contract with the City of Pittsburgh to repair street lights that get called in by residents through the 311 customer service line. I turned in a request to have dozens of out lights on route 65 to be repaired and I received a phone call from someone there who was extremely nasty with me and seemed dismayed with the amount of work that was needed in that area.

For a company who has a contract with a government I was extremely annoyed at how little they seemed to have cared about how they talked to residents.

I ALWAYS go here to watch different sports. I'm really upset that missed Sat. night, they were showing the UFC fight & I missed it. It was just to cold for me to make it out at 10pm. Just a sign of me getting old but the food and service was great last night, it ALWAYS is there!!!!

Presently is not even providing quotes for residential work at all. But it says to me is there only taking big more profit little work so let the big more profitable companies use them and maybe all the residential people should not use them ever again

Smith Electric installed a ceiling fan for me. They communicated really well and were able to help me troubleshoot issues with another ceiling fan I have. I definitely recommend using them for any electrical projects.

Smith Electric Service was quick to respond to my request for a quote, thorough in inspecting what needed done, and the quote was both detailed and delivered the same day. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to hire them, but it was due to budgetary concerns, not the quality of the people at Smith.
