johnathan arrived with a friendly demeanor, correctly identifying the issue at hand, a blown out ballast in a 4 tube fluorescent fixture in a 10 foot ceiling kitchen. he confirmed my initial diagnosis, but offered a more efficient solution, a direct wire. this would eliminate the need for a ballast with a new type of light tube. even though the tube is slightly pricier, it is still less expensive than replacing the ballast. plus, removing a part reduces the complexity and enhances the reliability of the system. this innovative solution proposed by johnathan from wagner brothers in pittsburgh was greatly appreciated.
