I am very happy with my visits to Hahn's. Staff always willing to help with your selections, in this case, poinsettias. They had such wide beautiful choices. I remain a loyal customer.

Great place with lots of options and great plants. Cannot comment on the price as I do not have a lot of comparisons. but the selection was excellent and I could find all I was looking and staff were friendly and helpful.

Had a problem with a tree I purchased last Fall. Without hesitation they took care of the problem. Paid a visit today. Great plants, shrubs, and trees. Service is second to none. Don’t waste your time at a home center. Go to the professionals.

Customer service is less than what you would expect. Manager is rude, lacks soft skills, and uncaring. Owners should evaluate this as they must be losing business. There are many friendly and knowledgeable places to shop in Ross area that are much cheaper and pleasant. NEVER AGAIN WILL I PATRONIZE THIS BUSINESS.

I can't say enough about Hahn Nursery. I was looking for two very specific items and they were able to track them down. Even with everything going on with COVID-19, they were always great about following up and providing any updates. They also have been really thoughtful/creative with changing their business to accommodate social distancing to keep customers as safe as possible which is definitely appreciated.

AWESOME NURSERY AND GREENHOUSE!!! Staff is very friendly and helpful. HUGE selection of plants, flowers, shrubs, and trees. Just moved to Pittsburgh and had no idea I lived so close to a great nursery. I highly recommend Hahn Nursery €:-)

I originally am from North Hills, the location of Hahns nursery. I moved out of state, but can count on Hahn's to have the best variety of plants, shrubs etc. I make a stop there every time I am in the area. It is a must.
The staff is very helpful and friendly.
This visit I found two of the plants I have been looking for at other nurseries all summer!

We looked for a while at different nurseries in the area, and we kept coming back to here. Always the most selection of different things. Prices are reasonable too. I send all my friends there to get stuff.

Thank the lord the have.longer hours and now weekends! That old schedule sucked!

I was looking for a red maple and called Hahn's. Talked with Dave, he was so nice and informative. He didn't make me feel rushed like the other nurseries that I had called.
I went there bought it...great price!
It was at least 10 feet high. They helped me put it in my car as well.
I will be going back there for my herbs.

I probably have been going to Hahn's Nursery for forty years. It started with buying flowers with my mother, then buying flowers for myself and now buying flowers for my daughter. I was there two days ago and I want to respond to Natalie Johnsen's review dated 6 days ago. I find her comments demanding and lacking in patience. First of all, Hahn's just recently opened due to the pandemic. Second, there are parking attendants for safety. The parking lot can get busy with cars pulling in, cars backing up and people walking with their flower carts. Third, they hire some young people to help who may not know all the plant and tree information so they direct you to the people who do. In the past I have even shown them photos of shrubs not doing well to get their opinion. Hahn's has the best selection of shrubs, trees, annuals and perennials.

Best local nursery if you support local. Yes some items looks old or pricy, I think it is still good for supporting local store where they sell good items and have helpful stuff. I always can't wait to go get flowers every Spring!

As an avid house plant shopper, I was very impressed with Hahn’s varied selection. They had rare plants that I had never seen in store before, along with more common houseplants. Their prices were maybe a bit on the high side, but not unreasonable.

Very pleased with my experience! I went looking for a variety of shrubs, and there were so many options! The layout made shopping very easy, and the staff was very patient with me and helpful. I will definitely be going back as I need more things!

Hahn Nursery has been in business for several decades, and they offer a large selection of trees, shrubs, perennials, annuals, and vegetable plants. I needed assistance with selecting plants for my front yard, so I scheduled a landscaping consultation with Hahn. The consultation was reasonably priced, and the landscaper was very helpful in suggesting the types and placement of my plants. Later, I bought many shrubs from the nursery. These shrubs looked large and healthy. Hahn gave me advice about digging holes, using fertilizer, and watering, so I was able to install the shrubs myself.

Purchased this tree 12/5/2020, and the tree is drying out. Stopped taking in fresh clean water 2 days ago. Some of the needles are falling off and turning brown. Hahn’s use to be our go to place, at least for 10 years. The quality of their trees were excellent. The staff were very knowledgeable and answer our questions truthfully. Never steered us to make a wrong selection. This year, there were new faces... We always purchased Frazier fir trees, but the selections were sparse. Besides expensive, they were too tall. So, we selected this tree, Canaan fir, we asked some questions about this type of tree and the sales associate was vague. We were thinking of going somewhere else, but we trusted them for all these years, so we decided to purchased the tree. Big mistake. Never again. Warning, Do not purchased Christmas trees there.

Update: 12/29/2020

Christmas Day, some of the branches started to droop and one of my Christmas ornaments fell and broke. Removed some of my fragile ornaments from the tree. Each passing day more branches are drooping, I was hoping to keep the tree up until New Year’s Day, but that’s unlikely now. Oh well. Happy 2021! 🙂

FYI - Contacted the owner after reading his response, but the owner wasn’t in. Left a message with his sales associate that I called.

We are so happy with their on-site selections and their ability to order mature, high-quality products from regional growers. Their team delivered and carefully planted 9 native trees for us and the time and effort saved was worth the cost. Plant enthusiasts helping plant enthusiasts. It’s 1000% better than your big box home and garden stores!

Diverse selection, excellent employees, decent prices, Good variety of pots and planters. Orders of magnitude better than any big box selection in the area.

Never been here personally until yesterday. I was so overwhelmed with beautiful choices that i couldn't make a decision. I came back today to finish the experience. Thank you so much! Looking forward to my next visit!

They made the effort to get us the right pump for our fountain. Customer service above and beyond. A huge “thank you” from us and the birds.

I’m an avid garden and daughter of generations of avid gardeners. I get all of my plants from Hahn Nursery. They have the healthiest plants at a decent price. Honestly, I’ve never been disappointed by any of the hundreds of plants I’ve gotten from them .The staff there is so knowledgeable and helpful. I got a plant from a big box store once that was sickly and dying. The staff at Hahn diagnosed the problem and helped me treat the plant to save it. Just go to Hahn Nursery. You’ll see the difference.
