Chris takes care of my lawn like it's his own. He is professional, friendly, and clean. My yard always looks immaculate after he finishes with it and I'm constantly getting compliments on how great it looks.

Chris rebuilt part of a stone wall, and did leaf removal for us. He did an excellent job. He answers his texts quickly, and shows up when he says he will. His fees are very reasonable, also.

This company was wonderful to work with on our project. Chris was always quick to respond to any questions. He kept his word and showed up when he said he would. He was meticulous and cleaned up very well when he was done. Our front yard looks amazing!

Chris does a great job with our lawn. Always very neatly cut, trimmed and cleanup. You can always count on it being taken care of, and not have to worry if he is going to show up or not. He always texts me the day before coming. I will definitely continue using his services, and would highly recommend him to others looking for someone to care for their lawn!

Had Chris clean up a lot of weeds and hedges, install new pavers around the hedges, do some edging along the driveway, place mulch, and plant grass. He got it all done very quickly and it looked great! Great guy to work with and would definitely recommend!

I messaged them through LawnStater about poor work and since they didn't want to fix it they told me they would not be coming out. They missed most of my backyard, never got the side of my house, didn't blow the grass, or edge. When I told them they missed some stuff, they said they would come back out but never did. I paid over $90.00 to have pretty much just my front yard mowed. When I tried to talk to them without involving LawnStarer (since they would have given me a discount and taken from the crew) they just told me they wouldn't come out. They are happy to take your money but not to fix a mistake. Very unprofessional. Please use someone else.

Had Jake come out for an estimate for some landscaping and lawn mowing/weed whacking. No problems were brought up. Never showed up for the mowing, then proceeded to never show up for the landscaping date we agreed upon.

If you need someone to do the work just “whenever” then Devers might be okay. If you need something done on a specific timeline, look elsewhere.

My biggest issue is he didn’t even have the professional courtesy to respond to several voicemails and text messages. Completely ghosted us. If you can’t/won’t do something, let the customer know.

Great job! Huge help with clearing weeds and shrubs. Will definitely use again.

Somehow they got my first review removed. They steal your money, do not do any work and give empty promises of completing the work several times over. then they ghost you and won't return the down payment. STAY AWAY from the KEMP Brothers.

Have used Kemp Brothers twice now and both times have done a great job. Have been great with communication and updates throughout both jobs.

So first off, I would welcome this company’s rebuttal to what I’m about to write, but that would be a welcome surprise as they’ve ignored my and my partners calls and texts.

With that, I will detail the experience we had with this company.

We reached out via Craigslist as we were in a very tight time crunch to get our lot cleaned asap.

We told them this, they went to the lot (they claimed they did) they gave us a quote and we accepted. They provided an invoice with a down payment to do the work. We signed and sent the downpayment via Venmo. With them promising early that week it will get done.

Tuesday comes and goes. No call no text. We follow up, they claim weather was the issue. Promised next day. Did not call or text. Didn’t show again. Promised Thursday. Again no call/text, we had to literally call and text several times just to get a one word response.

Friday comes, absolute silence. No follow up no response all day until we demanded our downpayment back or we’d go to small claims. They finally followed up claiming they texted us but realized they didn’t hit send.

Finally the gentleman we spoke to Friday, after the threat of the lawsuit, he promised and swore up and down that Saturday morning he’d be there to do the job and would be done by 12 noon.

Well it’s Sunday morning and we ended up doing the job ourselves.

He has since completely ghosted us, no reply or response and has not given our downpayment back at all.

This is probably one of the worse experiences I’ve had with a landscaper.

As of today 2/29, still no response or refund given. Literally nothing
