Great service, hurt my back and they took care of my lawn, Jason did great service and very detailed. Will be using them the rest of the summer.

Quoted a price of $60 each cutting. They canceled on me the first date then again the second date. And NO...IT wasn't due to rain. He stated the were "overbooked." Now they want to charge $400 because the grass is 6 inches high. Don't trust them...they are scammers!!!

Service was great and always had good communication with my servicer. Budget restructuring in my personal life found the service too expensive for the time being and decided to go back to cutting my grass again.

What a disaster. Got one cutting on time. The next cutting was rescheduled 3x over a period of nine days to the point where I had to go to the property and cut the grass myself. I canceled the service. Two weeks after canceling the service, they showed up to mow the lawn. I was pulling up in my car and I thought they were just a group of men driving around looking for lawns to cut. I sent them off. 45 minutes later I got a message saying they cut the lawn. No!! Do not hire these people!!! I’m about two seconds away from getting a restraining order.

As a military spouse, LawnStarter made it easy to have my grass cut while my husband is deployed. Though there was a hiccup with the initial pro assigned, LawnStarter had a new pro to me within 3 days!

This company reached out to me claiming they’d give me some good deals for being a first time customer just to only waste my time. I was canceled on TWICE last minute. First time the crew said they were too behind on their schedule and rescheduled to come TWO days later. The day gets here I get a message saying they’re on the way. OVER an hour goes by still no show. I message them and let them know I won’t be here because I had a family emergency at the hospital and I really had to leave. (I called the customer service and they said it’s ok I didn’t have to be here for them to do the job.) Instead he canceled the job completely and lied and said I left my pet out. I don’t have a pet and my neighbor doesn’t have a pet that would left out in MY yard. Extremely unprofessional. They were just lazy and didn’t want to do the job. Completely wasted my time. It already took 4 days to get scheduled and for what to keep getting cancelled on? I could have been found someone else to do it instead. If I could give zero stars I would. Wouldn’t recommend at all.

Awful experience. 3 “pro’s” cancelled without any notice. Went over a month between cuts in the middle of summer and customer service was beyond pathetic due to the company’s laughable policies.

Jason did a nice job cutting the grass. However the next day I got a message from the company that they tagged on a charge, $29 for grass 9” high. The grass was not that high (April in Pittsburgh). I wish Jason would have told me there was an upcharge when I talked with him during the cut and I could have made an informed decision. I will not employ this company again because it felt shady to me.

I booked through LawnStarter since we were going on vacation. The service provider never showed up; the communications with the company and provider we're useless; hollow promises by the company that another provider would do the job; totally wasted my time. I came home to a front yard jungle! This is exactly what I was trying to to avoid by retaining LawnStarter's services. This company is bad and unprofessional. I would NOT recommend LawnStarter. They do NOT get the job done. Thanks for nothing!!!

My last experience with them was much better than this year. This year, the crew was changed twice, and my service was postponed for an entire week! Grass was long and out of control. I just canceled the service, as I was not confident the next crew will show up on-time and be reliable.

The customer service is good and does its best but it seems like they have a hard time finding reliable crew members to send out! If you can put up with the initial crew member changes and delays, you may get lucky and get a reliable service after a few weeks.

My last year experience (older review) : we were happy with the crew that LawnStarter connected us with. They were reliable and always showed up as expected and did a nice job. What I like about LawnStarter is that it takes care of payments, scheduling, rescheduling, cancellations, and communications with the crew through their app or website which is very convenient for me. That being said, at the beginning of the service, last year, it took a few weeks and a couple of crew changes before we were finally assigned a reliable crew.

Jennifer and her crew always does a great job. Lawn always looks good, and they clean up after themselves good.

Easy, low-friction interactions, good work, very responsive

This was quick fast and easy. I normally cut my own grass, but with work, a wedding of my oldest, and some family emergency’s, I was not able to get it done. Lawnstarter was able to get someone to my place and they did an out standing job!

We use LawnStarted for our services. Our current pro, Chris, is amazing and keeps us informed. He also asks if there are any special items we may need with our lawn.

I love this company. And Joe is great. I opted to skip my mow this week but come Tuesday I was regretting that decision. I sent a message and Joe said yes he would mow for me on Friday. That kind of service is hard to come by. If your looking for someone to take care of your yard you should check out Joe with LawnStarter.

Hi Micheal did a great job! My yard is big and uneven so a sit down mower isn't really a possibility. Micheal did a great job of using a push mower and got all the little places in the yard that are annoying to get. Thanks!
