After going through 4 other landscapers, Stockman followed through, was prompt with a quote, and prompt with scheduling and finishing our retaining wall. They were communicative the whole way. And it was just in time for our Memorial Day gathering. The wall looks great! We are very happy with the work and will use them again for our other landscaping plans in the future.

Our experience with Stockman was terrific. Our contact Tyler was very responsive and clear every step of the way. The work on our patio makes it look brand new. Everyone was very professional and I would recommend them highly.

I just had my front yard landscaped by Stockman. It hasn't been touched in 40 years. They removed bushes and grass that was there, and replaced with healthier and low maintenance alternatives. From the first meeting with Dan, through the crew showing up and doing the work, it was the best experience I've ever had hiring a contractor. We were able to work well together, making any changes that seemed appropriate. The finished product is gorgeous. And neighbors keep stopping by to complement the work. I will be hiring Stockman again in the spring for another project, and can't wait to share ideas! I highly recommend Stockman landscaping for any project, large or small. The work was pristine and so was the clean up at the end! Thank you guys, for doing such an amazing job!!!

We met Tyler from Stockman Lawnscape at this year’s Home Show. He scheduled and met with us within a week. We wanted a new patio with a seating wall and fire pit in which they exceeded every expectation and more! We love it! The whole process, start to finish, was very smooth and customer focused. Kevin was a fantastic project manager and would visit daily to check on the guys. Tyler and Kevin were in constant communication every step of the way, answering any questions we would have or addressing any concerns that would arise. We made a few changes and they were great about adjusting the design. The whole team was very respectful, hardworking and extremely efficient. We can’t wait to hire Stockmans for our next outdoor project!

Had reached out Stockman to get a quote on a huge project as other companies were non responsive.

Had met with Tyler and discussed the basics and met with him again to finalize everything.

The crew that did the work was great. They undertook this project and exceeded expectations. We had dealt with Tyler, Kevin, & Josh. All were very communicative and responsive to any questions we had.

We needed some proper irrigation installed prior to another upcoming project within a few weeks. I contacted Stockman and a few other companies. Tyler contacted me right away. We discussed our needs and timeline, he said it was not an issue and they could get it done within two days.

The Stockman's crew was very professional receptive to specific requirements. Tyler checked in during the project to make sure we were happy with the progress. They completed the project within the two days as promised and did a great job!

I've already recommended them to my neighbor for a retaining wall.

Our experience with Stockman has been great from the beginning. Starting with Tyler who helped us scope the project, ensured we were happy and understood work to be done and he helped us every step of the way with great communication! In addition all of the Crew was extremely kind, helpful and did great work- Randy and Cary were with us the most and were truly great to work with. Overall highly recommend stockman for their client experience, professionalism, reasonable pricing and timeliness!

I had a great experience working with Stockman for some maintenance care for my paver patio. Tyler was very helpful throughout the process - always available and responsive. We were able to schedule the work quickly. The team completing the work did a nice job over the course of two days with no issues. The end product looks great, we've already received multiple compliments from friends and family. I would definitely trust Stockman with my future landscaping needs.

Smith and his team did an excellent job. Very responsive to communication, fairly priced, outstanding work. They even came back when I noticed some small areas that needed to be touched up. I will work with them again for my landscaping needs.

I have contacted several landscapers about restacking my stone wall. Stockman Landscaping, Kevin the gentleman that actually came out said that it was absolutely possible. All other companies wanted to sell me a vera lok. Kevin said all that was needed was some digging out, than replace with gravel. My wall looks beautiful. Kevin was 100% correct. I am 100% happy with the wall. I will definitely be using them again and highly recommend this company.

Stockman Lawnscape did an excellent job on rebuilding a 150 foot natural stone wall. The work was completed in a timely manner by a professional team. Pre-sales, scoping, and execution were all handled very well.

We cannot recommend Stockman Landscaping enough. Smith, who provided us with our quote, is an excellent communicator with lots of knowledge about the industry. He had great attention to detail and took thorough notes for our project, which included weeding, edging, mulching, tree trimming, stump removal and trimming of shrubs. He has good knowledge of plants and easily identified multiple species of flowers, shrubs and trees throughout our property. He was also able to fit us in on a tight turnaround which was critical for a party we were hosting the following weekend. Overall, his knowledge and communication skills made it easy to say yes to the bid.

Derek and Josh, who were doing the work, arrived on time (very important!) and did a complete walk around of the property before they started. They worked from 8:30am to ~7pm and did an excellent job. Not only were they great workers, but they were kind and were responsive to feedback when we checked in on them throughout the day. All in all, they did a beautiful job and finished the project on time. They also did a complete walk around when they were finished.

We highly appreciate their hard work, attention to detail and clear, responsive communication. The price was worth every penny. We highly recommend Stockman Landscaping for your next project and would work with them again in a heartbeat!

I can't recommend Stockman Landscape highly enough. From my first meeting with Tyler at the Home Show to the day that my project was completed, the communication was strong and clear. Tyler was always available to answer my questions or discuss options. The work was done professionally and to our satisfaction. The team was friendly, approachable, dependable, highly skilled and made the project enjoyable and very much a blessing. The finished look is exceptional.

Buyer beware. I would not recommend Stockman Lawnscape. I've had an awful experience. Back in December they constructed a two tiered stone wall for me in my backyard. They finished in the spring and the wall is now crumbling - literally breaking apart. Initially they were responsive and said they would make it right but they have not delivered on that promise. They now have stopped returning my calls. I am out tens of thousands of dollars. They also damaged my brand new deck and have not returned to fix it. I have no choice but to bring them to court to try to get some of my money back so I can have this fixed. So disheartening. I've never once posted a negative review about a business. I wish they were the professional company that the 5 star reviews on here say they were. No one needs this headache...why can't companies just do the right thing? The owner's response below is an outright lie. Their sales person Sam recommended we use stone taken from the property/hill to build the wall. I never "insisted". I did what was recommended. I even questioned whether it was strong enough. I was told yes. I trusted their expert opinion. They left my deck damaged, loose stones on my steps, my side lawn all torn up and stains on my new driveway. Tens of thousands of dollars were invested in this project.

We first met Stockman at the Pgh Home & Garden show as we were looking to replace a crumbling retaining wall that was improperly built by the prior homeowner. We also were looking to do some regrading of our lot. Tyler was the first to speak with us at the show and he was very attentive to what we explained and gave us some ideas to consider along with some very helpful reading material. When the time came to solicit bids for the work not only did Tyler remember us but he was the first to make a site visit and subsequently the first to submit a bid. We chose Stockman because we were very impressed with their knowledge (we also dealt extensively with their engineer, Scott), professionalism, and their commitment to the timeliness of the work. They also had the best price! In the end we couldn't have been more happy with the work performed--mostly by Jeff and John--despite some unforeseen issues they encountered (e.g., an unexpected broken drain pipe which they replaced and just included as part of the project) and working around near daily rain. They also removed three large bushes for us upon quick request.
Just a few days after the job was complete we got a torrential rain storm that did significant damage to the newly-seeded and mulched landscaping. Although the job was technically complete I contacted Tyler and explained what happened. Stockman came back twice and executed repairs to all of the damaged landscaping. Total class act on their part!
We have received many compliments on the wall--a two-tiered retaining wall built with Versa Lok block and installed downlighting. Bottom line, we highly recommend Stockman Landscaping. And they were always very easy to reach and quick to respond to our questions and concerns.

Very unreliable. Signed up for a date for them to come over and give me a quote for some work at my home. They texted me cancelling on me and asked that I reschedule. I have multiple dates and times and none worked for them. They finally ghosted me over text after I offered two final dates and times. Luckily I was able to find a couple of other contractors to give bids.

Updating my review to say that we did, in fact, use Stockman again to create and edge six flower beds and to install an in-line pergola and a privacy screen around our trash cans. Tyler is incredibly responsive to any questions or concerns and the entire team did another excellent job. Not only is the work great but this company is really affordable. I'll come back next year to write a third review because we will definitely use them next year too!

We hired Stockman to build three retaining walls on our property. They were extremely responsive even after it took us a whole year to decide if we were going to do the work. The price was right, the staff was amazing. They did the job well and were attentive to our goals and some changes we asked them to make. We will definitely use them again!

Stockman Landscaping is a🔥🔥 Landscaping Company!!! I have nothing but praise. The entire team was very professional, on time and approachable. They finished my front yard in a week and a half. Tyler was my Project Mgr. he is just amazing!! His #2 guy Jeff is also amazing and has mad masonry skills.

We met Tyler at the home show and he came out twice as we tried to decide what to do to give ourselves more out door living space. Once we figured that out we had a great steady 2 man crew. Michael and Randy are amazing. They did the work, polite and kept us in the look. They entertained all our questions and the whole team was available anytime we needed anything. They were able to tie our drain spot to an existing french drain to improve efficiency I didn’t even know was missing. We also did a last minute add for lights and I’m so glad we did as it looks amazing. I would absolutely recommend and would use them again.
