We recently had our backyard transformed by Jared Johnston and team. Their work is amazing! Professional, innovative and wonderful partners to work with. We have a shady, wooded backyard and Jared designed an amazing space for us-- we couldn't be more pleased and we highly recommend his company.

Jared and his employees did a great job landscaping the front of my house. They were hard working, friendly, and professional. I appreciate the time Jared took to educate me on the types of new plants and how to maintain them. Jared maintained great communication with my wife and I throughout the entire project. My new plants and shrubs look great and add to the beauty of my home. I would definitely recommend Jared Johnston for landscaping services.

Jared Johnston completly transformed our entire front landscaping and did a exceptional job. We are thrilled with the results and were impressed by the process. From initial consultation to formal landscape design, Jared brought creativity and a depth of knowledge of the types of plantings that thrive in our area. During the installation, Jared was personally on site each day to ensure every thing was done to his high standards. He checked in with us throughout the process to make sure we were pleased. He team is equally profession, courteous, and hard working. For our lighting, they came back at dusk and stayed until it was fully dark to ensure the lighting looked perfect. I HIGHLY recommend Jared Johnston Landscaping!

Jared just finished our job, a complete re-landscaping in the front of our house, including plantings and hardscape. We found him to be extremely knowledgeable, communicative, and professional. So glad to work with Jared and his crew! We had a fairly large landscaping/hardscaping project done on the front portion of our property. Jared worked with us to plan a contemporary design that matched the style of our house. From the start, we could see that he is an excellent communicator and well versed in design and horticulture. Jared walked us through each step of the project, listened to our ideas and suggested many complimentary ideas of his own. He took the time to teach us about the plants we had installed, and his entire crew was professional, neat, and thorough. Couldn’t recommend this company more!

Jared and his team built a new patio and deck for us in 2024. The space is perfect and our entire experience was amazing. We couldn’t have asked for a more professional and talented group. Jared and his team were amazing. I had a general idea of what I wanted to do, but Jared took it to the next level! His vision and his suggestions were right on. In fact, he added several features (without additional cost) that really enhanced the project. He is definitely detail-oriented and is a hands-on manager---I met with him several times during the installation of my fire pit (see picture). He also used Belgian bricks to form a beautiful border around some flower beds--and tied it all together by adding Belgian bricks to the fire pit. . His team was wonderful---they definitely have a work ethic! I highly recommend Jared Johnston Landscaping.

Jared installed a new lawn and landscaping at our newly constructed home. He and his crew did an exceptional job. They were professional, provided guidance and executed as promised. We received regular updates on the progress and next steps. It is rare to find a contractor a who effectively communicates and does a great job. I will use Jared again for any of our landscaping projects.

Our front yard was completely overgrown with weeds and just awful looking. We also had several trees that decided to die all at once together adding to the haunted house vibe.

Anyhow, Jared very respectfully diagnosed our problems and drew up a low maintenance solution for us (we are not skilled yard people). When his crew got to work, they really got to work. I have never seen such hard working people. Anyhow, with Jared's knowledge and vision, the front of our house looks incredible now. We went from the worst looking yard in the neighborhood to at least top 5.

I hope to post pictures soon when some things grow in a little more. I also wish I had a before picture to show just what an incredible transformation Jared and his team performed.

JJ installed an Ohio stone retaining wall, graded our yard, planted trees and shrubs + mulched around our yard, and hydro seeded. Jared and his team were extremely professional throughout the whole process. Not the cheapest on the block, but there is no question they overdelivered on value. He knows what will look great as a finished product and made helpful suggestions throughout the process. Very knowledgeable about plant species and care. Highly recommend. Jared and his crew are outstanding among the many landscapers I have employed. Jared transformed my overgrown and neglected outdoor area into a beautiful outdoor living space. Jared Johnston Landscaping removed six 19 year old giant bushes from a very restricted area and planted new shrubs. They were professional, competent, neat, mannerly and conscientious throughout the job. Jared went above your average contractor in communicating with us throughout the process. We have worked with Jared Johnston Landscaping on both softscape and hardscape projects for our home over the past year and can’t recommend them enough. The projects included tree and shrub design and installation and a slab paver patio installation including a gas firepit and custom-built grill island. Terrific Landscaping Company - Jared Johnston Landscaping! I had looked on Nextdoor to find a landscaper that could help with some overall pruning and possible river rock. I hired Jared Johnston's company and ended up having them do WAY more than that after consulting with Jared. He really knows his stuff and came up with some wonderful ideas to help me with trying to get my yard more low maintenance. Jared is extremely knowledgeable, punctual, fair, and his whole team is very hardworking and professional. They did a beautiful job for me and I can recommend them with full confidence to friends, family, real estate clients and neighbors, and will definitely use them again!

Jared and his team helped us design and then create an awesome backyard experience. We started with a list of "problems" and Jared took us step-by-step through the entire process of designing a solution, choosing boulders and so on.

Jared designed and executed a multi-stage landscaping project to lay a stone patio followed by installation of a running water feature with lighting and planting. He worked with us to make sure the design fit all of our needs.
