Whoever answered the phone, was kind of rude to me, I had couple more wuestions, he said “he doesn’t deal between tenants and landlords “ and just hang up. Before doing anything, you should listen to people and hear what they want to say. That’s very rude!!!

I had a pluming emergency in that my main drain line was clogged and I could not flush get water down. I called 3 firms.. two being main "name" firms everyone recognized and Clog Busters. Clog Busters (their owner) called back in 30 minutes, the other two never called back.. and I had previously used one of them. Clog Busters gave me a competitive quote, I called one of the first two back and got a quote $50 less using an online coupon... but they could not get to me until one day later.

I called Clog Busters who said they could be at my home within the hour, and while more expensive, I gave them the job.

This is a small company that takes on only 2-3 jobs per day as the owner does most of the work himself. He arrived as scheduled, and what was expected to be a 1 hour or less job turned out to be close to 3 hours.

I was not charged more than the quoted amount. This man had a "snake" nearly twice the size of diameter than the other two firms who had been here, This was the tool that it took to do the job; the others I know coud not have had or used a tool like this because of the problem using through the more convenient floor drain where a P trap would have not allowed use.

This firm found the problem to be a tampon that had to be in the line over 2 1/2 years where others missed this. The line was openeed.

I highly recommend this firm if one has a blocked line... if you would be able to get on their schedule.

Mr. Keenan arrived on time and was very professional. Also he wore a mask. He could have provided a service that was not necessary, instead he let us know that we did not have a problem that required any intervention and did not charge us for his time. We did compensate him anyway for his time.

Had a great experience! I called in the morning and he was out here fixing my clogged storm water sewer by early afternoon. Was great at explaining his work and did the job properly. Reasonably priced. Thank you! You are a life saver! (I had two roof leaks in one week from the blocked downspout/storm sewer blockage) Small business owner with almost 40 years experience.

They cleared the trouble but be prepared for the bill. Because they aren’t the least expensive plumbers on the block.

They ran a snake through the line.

Charged an exorbitant amount for faucet installation even though I had the faucet. I saw the bad reviews and ignored them. I GOT BURNED!

The job was capping a pipe. They refused to quote a price for the job, not even a ballpark figure, then billed me $650/hour for the work.

I used this company for a real estate closing, to provide the required municipal testing. They were on time, fixed the issues, were very professional, and thorough. Highly recommended.

2nd time I called, these guys are the best in the neighborhood. I dont always give out 5 stars like a reward. But this company is the one you should call. Forget roto rooter and gillece. They always try to upsell you something you dont need. It's not the case for Sembower though. My furnance stop blowing hot air and I guess it was minor. But the tech who came out, Eric was his name did maintenance on my furnance and made sure everything was working properly. Great guy. Answered the most common questions anyone had. Really good company to call for service. Prices are competitive but the work shows for it. Better than the others. Kudos to sembower.

We started off with a hot water tank that was under warranty, the parts are covered for another year. Sembower-Mikesell Inc is the manufacture service provider, so we call them. The call starts off with "great you're tank is still under warranty, we can send someone out to service it", then I ask can you tell me what the fees are? "Well there's a service call fee of 40 dollars then there's the hourly fee, then there's a parts fee", "oh I thought the parts were under warranty", I say "well they are but we charge a parts convenience fee"(isn't that why people call you, that's like Pizza Hut charging a convenience fee for pizza delivery)... so basically I'm paying for the part and in some cases maybe more than the part (thermocouple at Homedepot is only 12 dollars).

Here's where it gets messy. So the person comes over and installs a new part. Claims that they cleaned out the burner chamber of soot and you're all set. Well I laid on the floor the previous night looking into the chamber to see if I could see anything before calling them and I saw the same soot in the chamber that was there after it was "cleaned". They didn't replace the most common issue with hot water tanks the thermocouple, instead they replaced a more expensive part so they could charge the parts fee and also get the money from the manufacture. All knowing that I would be calling several days later to ask for help again...

Before the person even looked at out hot water tank he walked in and just said to my wife "So... do you want me to give you a quote for a new hot water tank?" He didn't even look at it! So I call to let them know that "A" the tank is still not working... "B" that their person said he cleaned out the burner chamber which he didn't... there was no "Oh no" or anything of the sort. Only a "We can have someone out there on Monday", great is there additional costs? "We we can waive the service fee, but you'll still have to pay the labor and the parts fee". Wow. Just wow. Then they go on to say, "There were other parts in that kit that we can put on that we didn't", they just decided not to put all the parts on that were in the kit. I hired Sembower just because I didn't have the time and was going to be out of town now I'm doing it myself Homedepot thermocouple here I come.

Yesterday, we unexpectedly experienced the drainage blockage from hell. It started with a flush, and before long there was activity (yccch!) at every drain. We called Sembower around 11 AM, and Gene arrived within 20 minutes. Our house was built in 1954 - the first in the neighborhood, and at that time had a septic tank. As a result, Gene had to find the very convoluted drainage pipe system pathways, which go into a hillside and completely around the house. Using snakes and cameras, he and three other technicians worked tirelessly, finding the culprit to be roots that had clogged the path to the sewer piping, and in their words, they did not stop "until we had toilets" and drainage again. By around 5:00 they had completed their work AND CLEANED UP the affected areas throughout the structure. Their skill, professionalism, and great customer attitude are something you can be proud of. The price was reasonable for the effort provided. We are very satisfied, and will recommend Sembower Mikesell to friends in the future. Thank you very much.

They may or may not do good work. Personally I have never used them, will never, or refer them to anyone since they don't know how to clean up after themselves and take their garbage with them. I am a contractor & every place I go into that this company was in before me their garbage or specifically the old hot water tank is left behind for someone else to remove. That is completely unprofessional & lazy. Learn to take your trash!
