. This was from two years ago. I just noticed that he edited my review from two years ago. Here is the one that is correct. Do not ever use this young boy!!!! He did a an awful concrete job on a step of mine. A two year old would have done better. Not to mention he had his girlfriend come along and was hanging all over him while he was "patching" a step with a patching paste that needed concrete.

Brendan did wonderful yard work. These were projects that I didn't have time for or didn't have the motivation and ability to do myself. He was professional, reasonable, and very effective. I will definitely utilize his services again.

*Update- they reimbursed my parents $600/$175 for the botched work. I’m very happy with that, but we will never use this company again!
I cannot begin to express how upset I am with this company. Brendon did a terrible job with my parent’s concrete today 9/15/22. He showed up in flip flops and with his girlfriend which is completely unprofessional and did the most horrendous job. She paid him $725. The cracks weren’t filled in, it looks slapped on and wasn’t smoothed out at all. He begged to not give him a bad review. Sorry, If you don’t do good work, you won’t get a good review. I’m furious, my mom is in tears, and my dad is recovering from a heart procedure he just had two days ago. Another horrible thing is there is a good review that was posted in my mother’s name and she DID NOT post it!! 3 weeks ago stating that he did concrete patch work and did a great job?!! You people should be ashamed of yourselves and this scam of a business. That review needs to come down immediately! 3 weeks ago when Brendan just showed up today after my parent’s paid them already about a month ago. 3 weeks ago that was posted?!!!!

Buyer beware! We live in Ohio. He drove from Pittsburgh, Ohio. Almost a 3 hr. drive to our house to weed, edge & mulch our yard. Did not show up for his start time of 10 am, kept giving excuses. Showed up without notice at 5 pm when we agreed to start the next morning. We were gone for a period of time. He did not leave our house until midnight. He didn't complete the job. Ran out of mulch, edging & weeding was not done. At no time did he tell us he lived in Pittsburgh. I thought I would give him a chance...big mistake! My husband is 75 years old. We are finishing it ourself. Lesson learned.

I needed a hillside mulched quickly and efficiently, These guys nailed it! Will definitely be using them again.

Do not use.Quoted step replacment this was the outcome. -mismatched steps cause he didn't want to replace them all. Broken stringer that now needs replacing. Didn't screw in one of the boards. Just horrible workmanship that didn't match what I asked for

Brendon took cash for snow removal and did not provide any services. Very responsive to calls and texts to string you along. Lied and said he has a plow truck, he does not, he came in a van. Said he had to go get more salt for the job, never returned. Excuse after excuse. Said he would return my money...has not. Will be making a Theft of Services police report.

I hired Brendan to shovel my mother's driveway and walkways after a huge winter storm. We discussed at length that he would show up Monday morning after the snow had stopped. He called Sunday morning saying he was on his way out. When my mom told him that this was not the agreed upon time, he became very short and patronizing with her. He even tried to get more money out of her by saying he needed to come shovel multiple times. They ended up agreeing that he would come shovel Sunday night. He never showed up, at all. Absolutely do not hire this awful excuse of a businessman.

Brendan did a great job shoveling out my driveway during Pittsburgh's major snow storm in February 2026. We started communicating at 4:30 in the morning, and I sent him photos. He was very busy that day and didn't get to me until 3pm in the afternoon. The fantastic part was, he keep in touch with me ALL DAY to let me know he was coming and that I shouldn't panic or worry. He was absolutely fair in negotiating a price, and he provided great customer service. I was very satisfied with the service and will call them again for other projects.

First I would like to say I don’t like leaving reviews.... but In this case it’s a must.

My wife and I wanted an outdoor space so we could enjoy time with the family.... there was nothing in our yard.

We chose to go with Gardenart of Pittsburgh for our patio and fire pit build out.
I’ll be honest I was leaning toward them anyway just because of Art being the owner of the company. .. but besides that he beat out the competition anyway by a wide margin when it came to total cost.

We started from scratch.., Art worked with me on my thoughts and what I envisioned in our back yard but added his expertise and literally built a wonderful patio from the ground up. We had additional requests due to having 3 young children and Art also took that information and made it work for the safety of our kids as well.

Although we ran into some hiccups and the original end date went over about week in the end it was all worth it. ... Our space is beautiful and more than we could have ever expected, he went above and beyond the original scope of the work just to make it “right”, after working with Art I’ll be sure to use him again and would recommend him to any of my friends and family.... we have additional project’s needed and he’ll be sure to get the first call.

Horrible service. Nastiest crew. The owner acts religious but is nasty. Comes to our neighbors after we fired them at 7 am with a huge mower that just trashes the whole neighborhood. Don't hire if you want a nice lawn.
