Phil was extremely responsive and worked around my schedule to take a large tree down very quickly. All of his workers were very nice and accommodative. Would recommend to anyone.

First, he was very responsive whenever we called him; Second, he came the same day to give us an estimate; Third, his pricing was very good; Fourth, he completed the job within 1-1/2 weeks of our go-ahead; Fifth, he came exactly on time and finished removing 5 trees in less than 2 hours; Sixth, his work was professional; Seventh, all the stumps from the evergreens were at ground level and need no further trimming; the large maple tree stump is just above ground level and can be covered with mulch; eighth, his crew cleaned up very nicely; ninth, did I say his pricing was exceptionally good? I truly believe you can't go wrong using this company. It's so refreshing not to get a runaround from businesses who think they are doing you a favor when you call them.

Excellent service!! We hired this company to trim a massively overgrown oak tree that has never been trimmed before. Phil evaluated the tree and recommended the approach. They showed up exactly within the time frame they promised. They did an outstanding job and the tree became beautifully trimmed. They cleaned up the site afterwards that one could never tell that such extensive work was done earlier in the day. The price was very reasonable for the extensive work done. Very reliable and professional!! Highly recommend!!

Best for less was amazing. He came within 30 minutes of me calling him and showed up the next day to take down my tree. There was a huge storm and my tree fell on my house so it was a priority and he treated it that way. I have used him before and I will use him again if needed!!!

After calling other tree removal companies that never responded, or never arrived for a bid, or did not follow-up, or did not bid the removal as desired - we called Phil Snow. Phil arrived the next day [Saturday] to review and give a reasonable bid, agreeing to remove the difficult tree with no collateral damage. We were scheduled within a couple of weeks and the job was done perfectly. Kudos to Phil and his entire crew - with special thanks to the climber. I got 3 bids before hiring Best 4 Less Tree Service to take down a large tree and they gave the best price by far. I couldn't be happier with the experience! The work was done about two weeks after I hired them and not one problem. The tree was very close to wood fence and deck. Phil (the owner) sent a video of the structures before and after removal since I wasn't home at the time. No damage was done, all the work was done the same day, and they left the area immaculate. These guys are professionals and I highly recommend!

Phil and his crew are excellent. They had completed work on other trees in the neighborhood so I hired them to take down a large tree in the backyard. I've used a number of tree service companies over the 13 years we've been in PGH and Phil's team is now at the top of my list:
1. EXCELLENT work even on the difficult jobs.
2. Everyone on his team is kind, professional, energetic, helpful--all the things.
3. Excellent pricing in comparison to other vendors.
4. I kinda feel I'd pay just to have Phil himself share stories and wisdom with me. Lol. But on a more practical note, that wisdom and experience is gonna save you in the long run on these difficult trees in a condensed urban environment.
I recognize more 5-star reviews means a longer wait-list in the future for me but his team has definitely earned the business. They're great.

I reached out to Best 4 Less to get a tree cleaned up that had fallen in a storm on a hillside and over a fence. Phil was very responsive and showed up when he said he would.
