This was my second experience with McKean Plumbing & Heating and again I am very pleased with the result. Kyle was on time and so polite and courteous. He explained everything he was doing and McKean got someone out to me the same day. The amount charged was fair and having them available when I need them is awesome. You can't go wrong with them.

Respectful, reasonable, reliable. I can say I've tried other places when McKean was booked. It's worth waiting for a time to open up with McKean. They are amazing to work with. I refuse to call anyone else for our hearing, AC, or plumbing ever again. They service our boiler and our AC, have replaced parts, did plumbing work, and recently replaced our entire AC unit (due to age). Every person who has been to our home has been on time, respectful, friendly, and helpful. Highly recommend!

Amazing! Spoke to a representitive online via email within a half hour of submitting a form for a thermostat by lennox going down at my grandmother's. Very fast response and solution within an hours time after 9pm!!! They cane here the next day and we're so kind and helpful. Long story short where other companies gave a high estimate this business looked up the system and co formed it WAS IN WARRANTY STILL AND THE THERMOSTAT WAS FREE. A 200 dollar bill vs over a thousand to 2000 is a blessing before Christmas and my grandmother is warm and secure in her home! Thank you so so much! They went out of their way and had the thermostat we wanted and the newest of the new for her same day. Hands down dont call anywhere else! They are HONEST, FAST, RELIABLE, and simply THE BEST! So glad I contacted them and suggest you do the same for your HVAC, or plumbing needs! Honesty is golden and they ensured we have a copy of the new warranty info so we don't experience another situation like this. Blessed!!

McKean has come to our rescue twice. One time was water and second time was today when our AC went out. Both time they were able to come out within the day before business hour ends so we were not charged “emergency” rate. They actually started do some simple troubleshooting before sending anyone out. And they asked for picture of the AC unit so they could come prepared. All very good work ethics. And they seemed to hire the most honest and humble tech. I've used Mckean before, and have invested quite a bit in (necessary) home updates with them. They have always been thorough, conscientious, and honest. Recently had new heat pump installed, and John was very helpful throughout the whole process. Even sent me all the forms so I could get a rebate. There's also the added benefit that they back up their work. I'm comfortable with all their offered services.

I got say these guys are awesome . They installed a hot water tank in my store today had fixed our air conditioner multiple times you guys rock

These are some of the most knowledgeable and skilled folks in the business. This family owned shop installed two AprilAire devices in our HVAC. From John coming by to do the estimate, to Mike and Nathan for the install, I knew I picked the right company. I don’t hesitate to recommend these folks for any hvac or pluming work.

This by far was the best service experience I have ever had! John came out and checked out the situation with our AC. They were scheduled to come on a Wednesday and much to my surprise John called me Tuesday and asked if I was going to be home and said that they were going to come and get started on tearing the old unit out. So Charlie and Ben came and got everything removed, then they came back early Wednesday morning and put all the new things back in. They were very friendly and helpful, they answered all of my questions and didn't treat me like I was a pain in the rear or like I'm a dumb girl. I highly, highly recommend McKean for all of your HVAC needs and wants.

Called for emergency service the day after Christmas and they were the only one we called who were able to come out the same day and deal with the issue. Very nice and responsive.

With temperatures in the teens and colder temperatures and snow on the way, we discovered that our furnace was not working! We immediately called McKean. Less than two hours later, Nathan, one of McKean's newest hires, showed up. He quickly diagnosed the problem and went to the shop to get the parts needed for the repair. He returned and completed the repairs and a full system check before the temperature in our house had dropped more than a few degrees. The icing on the cake: while he was working on the furnace, I mentioned a annoyance with our hot water heater. Nathan told me what the problem was and then fixed that too! Highly recommended for timeliness, courtesy, professionalism, and expertise!

Called to report frozen water lines inside my house. I left a message with them, they called me back about 2 hours later (them being busy with all the water issues during the big freeze). I explained to them what I was dealing with & how I was attempting to fix it. They told me I was on the right track & suggested a few other fixes. They told me they would check back today or tomorrow. I did get the water flowing again. I greatly appreciated the guidance and not being forced into an appointment at the time. I will definitely call them for some work I want done later this year.

We needed a part for our furnace, and thankfully I was referred to McKean’s. Hudson waited on me, and he is knowledgeable, professional & cautious that I was indeed buying the correct part! He took the time to speak with my husband on the phone and they talked through the issue! I can’t thank him enough for taking so much time to make sure we were bought the correct part! Thankfully our furnace is back & we can put our space heaters away!! 😊😊😊

Our water heater died and leaked water into our bedroom on 11/25/25. I called McKean, spoke with Ben, who sent Chris to our place on his way to work, at 7:30 am. Chris was great, took some pics and said someone would be in touch.
Zack and Matt showed up and installed our new water heater. Such wonderful customer service and professionalism by everyone, I highly recommend McKean, we are customers for life! Plus the price was very reasonable. A great job, thank you McKean!

We had to have our entire HVAC system replaced. Luckily I contacted McKean's for the job. They were great to work with. They were professional and very helpful. They kept me informed throughout the job. A special shout out to Ben and JT who were polite, neat and right on time. Earl was exceptionally patient as we worked with my home insurance. They made this a painless process.
