I was driving behind one of their vehicles and rocks were flying everywhere off their trailer. One hit my windshield and cracked it. I pulled over and called immediately. Apparently, they are not responsible. I feel like that is extremely unprofessional. Maybe they should take more time to clean up before getting on the road.

Roots came to the rescue when our patio was compromised by a neighbor’s tree roots. Nate’s clever and modern vision truly transformed our patio into a beautiful space that we now use on a daily basis. We couldn’t be happier with the process or the final product.

Nathan and Liz were great to work with! Nathan understood the vision and the concept drawings translated seamlessly to the finished design. I couldn't be happier. And we're constantly receiving compliments on our landscaping from visitors and guests.

Connor did a great job explaining the work to us and supervising Thomas and Marco, who were friendly, worked very hard, and made our property look beautiful by weeding, raking, and mulching our garden beds. They even removed a small pile of branches I had pruned from the boxwoods in the back!

We first used Roots Landscaping in December 2020 to update some landscaping. We were pleased with that project and hired the team to design a raised bluestone patio and fire pit with a stone wall encompassing the patio, landscaping surrounding the patio, and outdoor lighting. From the beginning, the team paid attention to what we were looking for and were able to take our ideas and inspiration photos and turn them into reality. It was an extensive project in terms of scope and time, and we were very pleased with the overall management of the project including deliveries of material, mananging staff, dealing with subcontractors, keeping the project moving in a timely manner, etc. My husband and I were truly amazed at the craftsmanship exhibited by the stone masons laying the patio and building the wall. It was a pleasure to see these craftsmen at work and the pride they took in their job. They were also always willing to explain things to me and were patient when I asked if something could be modified. Nate, Liz, Kris, David R., Miguel, David A, Diego, Juan Carlos, Alfredo, were all great to work with and a pleasure to have on my property off and of for 3 1/2 months. I highly recommend them for landscape and hardscape design.

WOW! Amazing work from the crew at Roots Landscaping! From my initial free consultation, to the scheduling and arrival of the crew on my property, to their daily communication with me - answering questions, offering full explanations, to the final presentation of my project was absolutely phenominal!!

Roots Landscaping had a professional crew from the very beginning. Nathan and Chase met with me earlier in 2018-viewed my property and discussed my ideas, offered their input, and understood my situation from the timing of the project to my financials. They saw my vision! Due to many rain delays and rescheduling of my project a few times, everyone understood and was very flexible. The 3 man crew, headed by Alfredo took so much pride in not only the workmanship of the project, but the clean-up everyday was wonderful! They respected my property. Each day they discussed with me, any questions/explanations of my concerns, etc. My project was completed within a week and They were just as happy themselves for completing a beautiful project as I was seeing their workmanship. Amazing!!

This is only phase 1 of additional phases of landscaping on my property. I highly recommend Roots Landscaping for ANY landscaping need you might have. There really is NO need to get 3+quotes or how ever many you think you need to beat the financial quote, the quality and professionalism of the work the entire Roots Landscaping crew does. Nate and his team did a fantastic job on my backyard patio. The job included building a patio, planters, and landscaping. Every step of the project from getting a quote to the final planting was utterly professional and artfully done. Could always get hold of the team if I needed to make a change or had a question. Felt like Nate really took the time to listen to my ideas and work with me. He was never dismissive and offered great suggestions. Would highly recommend this company for any projects small or large.

Nate, Amanda, and Connor were absolutely incredible to work with on our landscaping renovation. They were communicative, creative, and professional throughout the entire process. Nate designed a gorgeous cottage-style landscape for our small front, back, and side yard. He stayed within budget and worked with us as our timing changed over the spring. The landscaping team was thorough and professional as well. We could not be happier with the Roots team and would recommend that anyone in the area work with them!

We have used Keystone Gardens for a long time now to help with our shrubs and bushes. They have always done a completely professional job whether it is shaping and contouring our many bushes or providing new plantings. They recently did spring work and made our shrubs look beautiful again after a tough winter.

Terrific, beautiful work

Keystone Gardens came out and listened to what I wanted and that was the end of that. They did plant a bush successfully. One of the plants came in a pot and the plant was half in the ground without the shape being disturbed. They planted three purple plants on one side of my front walkway, but not on the other side. They planted a plant with red flowers that eventually grew higher than the azaleas on either side of it, very straggly and ugly. I would be very careful and if you are going to have them do the work, make sure you watch what they do and hold them accountable. When I called to have them back, they never responded. And by the way - they cost a fortune!!!!! for nothing.

I had a mid-size landscaping job done to our back yard. Mike and his team were first class all the way. They showed up on time, cleaned up at the end of every day, very friendly and extremely knowledgeable.
A few days later we had our first big rain storm, we saw the grade was off a little bit. They were out the next day to correct it with no questions asked……top notch! Thank you Keystone Gardens team - we love our backyard! Tom & Michele Hawks

I had an agreement with Keystone Gardens for the last three years where I purchased holiday lights and then their company would install/uninstall them each season and then store the lights. This year when it came to renew my 3 years with them their prices almost doubled (no problem with that- I understand that prices go up and I just decided to go with another company that would install them at a better price) and I decided to just pick up my lights from them. When I got to their location my lights were outside in a trash bag- clearly not stored properly. I immediately emailed the contact I had at Keystone saying that this is how I found them and that hopefully when I took them home that they would work. Not surprisingly when I got home the lights did not work and there was water and dirt in many of the bulbs due to the incorrect storage. When I emailed my contact the owner of the company wouldn't even contact me back but denied my request for a partial refund of the lights. I had working lights when they were taken down last year and even though I wasn't going to renew my services with Keystone, I expected properly stored and working lights when I got them this year. The fact that he owner won't even contact me back says a lot about the company. Very disappointed- I would never recommend this company for any service.

We contacted Keystone garden for our house landscaping, after seeing them working in our Neiborhood.
We were so disappointed by their work. First of all they charged more than 10K and planted about 10-12 small shrubs. On complaining to Ryne, their person, and showing my displeasure, he agreed to replace three of them. THEY PLANTED THE SAME SMALL SIZE. I think we got cheated badly. I talked to my neighbors and they also think the same.
They overcharged us and gave substandard plants.
I will never use them again and would suggest others not to use them too. THEY CHEATED US.

Keystone and Mike helped us with our landscape design and execution for our front yard. We have a number of utilities we wanted to disguise so it took a look of creativity. The finished product is truly beautiful and we can’t wait to get started with Phase 2!!

I've been working with Keystone Gardens for many years. I started with them because I was admiring one of my neighbors landscaping. All the staff of Keystone Gardens are extremely personable, professional, courteous, and good listeners. Travis has always been very practical and helping us make our decisions and we have loved all the work they have done for us.
