Needed 2 pieces 24" long of 4 " PVC pipe and they cut it to length. Wow! Great service. At the other similar stores I would have had to buy a 10' section...

Moving from California to New Mexico presents a variety of challenges owing to very different climates, landscaping techniques and even plumbing standards. Like most of us, when there are projects, we are back and forth to Home Depot and Lowes multiple times each weekend.

So, if like me, a swamp cooler is a new beast, and the Big Box Boys don't have the SKUs and knowledgeable staff, you'll really appreciate, as I did, their recommending Samon's. They know the local construction and know how to be helpful. Great retail store with helpful, knowledgeable staff and sensible pricing.

They have folks who will help you find whatever electrical, plumbing, or HVAC parts you need. Their prices are reasonable and fair, too. I bought single-inlet evaporative cooler media because they put it on sale in August.

This place isn't as big as the big box stores, but the prices are better and every associate is more knowledgeable and friendlier. Not sure why I don't shop at Samon's more often.

I needed a new mixer cartridge for my 25 year old Delta faucet. Went to “Big Box” store and found no like part and no employee to assist in my search. I decided to pop into my local Salmons. Within 3 minutes I had the help of an employee, he walked me to the display, and promptly found exactly the part I needed.
Just a reminder, REMEMBER LOCAL! We need to keep these gems in our community.

The best complement to Home Depot. This store is open 7 days a week and if you need something fast get it there. I usually buy lots of plumbing fittings that I forgot to get when I did my big shopping for the project or if I messed it up. There is pretty good selection of electrical supplies too including light fixtures. They also have stoves, furnices, kitchen cabinets and vanities. Who knew? The best part is you get personal help. What a concept. I love this store.

I like this place. Needed a P trap. Was having a little trouble with the exact size. One of the staff helped me make on from scratch. That was was easy and usually much cheaper than the most common store we would think of going first.

Been here a couple times, and this was the only place that had what I needed in stock.

Walked in didn't even get acknowledged. Need helped No one bothered to ask so just walked out hope you don't experience the same thing.

Great store, we went in with a pretty specific question about an old sink part we had, and David was able to give us great advice! We’ll be back!

Big shout out to Ernesto at the Samon's location on 4th Street. Very helpful in getting all of the stuff needed for a replacement of swamp cooler motor. Even helped putting it together. Truly great customer service all the way around. Came from Home Depot, not at all helpful. Thank you again.

We got there within 5 minutes till they closed yet they were incredibly helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this store and will be back.
