I had two rooms I needed vinyl plank installed in.
Sean and his helper came out and they did a beautiful job and had the work done in a day. They cleaned up all the trash and I would have never known they were here with the exception of my new floors!
If your looking for a reliable, professional contractor give SCS Contracting a call!
I highly recommend!

Shawn and his crew are nothing short of a miracle. I live in NJ, while my father lives in Ennis, TX. My father had a series of set backs the last few years due to his decades of living with MS and recently had a surgery that has left him unable to move throughout his home freely. I started contacting contractors in my dads area to install grab bars in his shower and a handrail for his front porch. Being in the trades here in NJ, I knew what I was looking for was more of a handyman service. However, during the first call I had with Shawn and after he heard the struggle I was having to find someone reliable, he offered us his services at an amazing rate because of the position we were in. He and his crew went above and beyond, and completed the job within a week. And now I have one less worry about being states away from my father.
Thank you and your team again Shawn! You ALWAYS have friends in Jersey!! -
I had the pleasure of working with Sean, the owner of SCS Contracting, and I couldn’t be more impressed with his professionalism and expertise. From our initial consultation to project completion, Sean was always responsive, attentive, and dedicated to delivering high-quality work. He took the time to thoroughly explain every step of the process and ensured that the project was completed on time and within budget. Sean’s attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction truly set SCS Contracting apart. I highly recommend Sean and his team for any contracting needs—you won’t be disappointed!

Sean was very responsive, professional and knowledgeable when quoting my project - a custom countertop, under-mount sink installation, tile backsplash and appliance prep. He offered a reasonable quote and he was flexible and patient while I evaluated options. When it came time to do the work, he and his crew were on time, planned effectively and were able to complete the full project within the time they quoted. On-site, Sean proactively identified where choices needed to made, consulted me on options and ultimately did high quality work taking care of their surroundings in my home. He also followed-up to ensure quality and was proactive to make sure things were right.

had a great experience working with SCS Contracting! From start to finish, the team was professional, communicative, and efficient. They took the time to understand my needs and ensured that every detail of the project was handled with care. The quality of their work exceeded my expectations, and the project was completed on time and within budget. I especially appreciated their transparency and willingness to address any questions I had throughout the process. Highly recommend SCS Contracting for anyone looking for reliable and top-notch service! Sean is really friendly and treats you like family .

The plumber SCS Contracting hired just came to my door because they have not been paid and Sean is dodging their calls.
I wasn't planning on writing a review because we are very pleased with the finished product, but had some communication issues, I didn't want to ding their rating because of it. HOWEVER refusing to pay their subcontractors infuriates me, so here we are.
The quality of the work is great and was quoted at much more affordable price than other contractors. We hired SCS Contracting to create usable storage space in our attic, open up the closet under the stairs, and create a dog nook under a different section of the stairs, all of which turned out fantastic. We chose SCS because of their great reviews.
Along the way though we had communication and professionalism issues. First, on a Friday (and not returning until Monday), they turned our gas off without informing us. I figured that we had forgotten to pay the gas bill, I never even thought for a moment that SCS would turn our gas off without telling us. We called the gas company who in turn called the city and our gas was then REALLY shut off until a licensed plumber inspected and signed off that it was safe. Sean first blamed me saying I should have reached out to him before calling the gas company. My wife was home for the entirety of the project and I made it clear when work began that I was always available via my cell phone and to not hesitate to reach out, it would not have been hard to inform us the gas is off. Sean eventually admitted to his mistake, after making a fuss about having to hire and pay a plumber that he didn't have in his cost. We were then without hot water and gas for over a week. Not having hot water or gas for a week is bad enough but that is not the reason I am writing this review.
I am writing the review because the plumber Sean hired still has NOT been paid. They came to our door this afternoon asking if we had any additional information about the contractor we hired because they (the plumber) still hadn't been paid and Sean was dodging their calls. As a contractor myself this really makes me angry, hence the review.
The other issue we had was when originally discussing the dog nook, Sean said we would discuss it further after opening up the area behind the wall and seeing exactly what we could do. Again while my wife was home and I am a phone call away, he creates the dog nook without communicating with us. He has seen both of our dogs and the nook he created would not have fit either one of them by themselves. When I explained to him this is not what we envisioned, he admits that he just assumed this is what we wanted and did it without talking to us. When I tell him we aren't happy with it and want it changed he aggressively slammed his hammer into the recently applied drywall (in front of not only me but my wife as well) and complained about the added costs.
At the end of the project Sean apologized for the incidents and admitted he had been dealing with some personal issues. I couldn't in good conscience give a 5 star review at that time, but didn't want to ding his rating by giving anything less because of how happy we were with the finished product. But not paying the plumber is inexcusable. -
Sean is a joke. We hired him back in September, and he started our bathroom remodel. We are still waiting for his company to complete the job. He will take your money and refuse to complete the job due to your age and easy-going nature. Middle-aged people stay away; he will take your money and take advantage of your generosity, and only complete 75% of the job. Please don't give him any front money. We had to hire another contractor to complete the remaining 25%. STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY. I would not hire his company on any circumstances.

Update:
Sean's communication was never great. I never knew when he planned to arrive. By the end of our time together he treated me more like a wife that was nagging at him than a paying customer. Before he would leave the job he sat down and said that I had to leave a five-star review before he would leave. I'm content with my kitchen, it's a great improvement to what it was. I'm happy with it. But there are a lot of little things that are frustrating when you pay someone to do something and to do it correctly. I've tried contacting him a few times over the few weeks since he completed the project. I still have one tile that does not have grout around it, and the painting jobs are not great. The window sills look awful. They should have really been replace instead of painted over. The drop in lights were never cleaned and one is now flickering. I have no clue how to fix that. The paint is not blended in some of the areas and the cut in lines are awful. And for some crazy reason they cut a hole around the backing plate of my thermostat. I've attached photos of that show the good and the bad.
Sean and his team did a great job. They turned my brown 1960s kitchen into my dream kitchen! -
We are really happy with the transformation of our full bathroom remodel. Sean is very professional, meticulous and fair pricing.

My wife and I wanted to add some cabinets our home we just recently purchased and do some pretty custom stuff. We reached out the Sean, owner of SCS Contractors, and are very glad we did. Sean responded very quickly to come take a look at our project and discuss with us all the options to execute our vision. Sean was extremely prompt with quoting everything to us and very very fair on the price. Sean was even here the day everything was installed. Sean was very easy to communicate with and always very quick to reply to text or answer his phone. If you are anywhere in the DFW metroplex, especially the Ellis Co. area we would highly recommend Sean and SCS Contractors. You will not be disappointed! Thank you Sean and SCS. You and your team did an amazing job! We will using you and your team on all our home improvement projects.

I had the pleasure of meeting Sean yesterday. He's a very honest guy and runs a tight ship. I talk to a lot of contractors, and many of them talk about customers like they're just sources of money. Sean clearly cares about running a tight ship and taking care of people. He's curious about details that others overlook, and follows up on those details. He shows up on job sites (unannounced) to make doubly sure quality of work stays high. I'm a bit picky about who I refer people to, and I'll gladly refer people to him in when he might be able to help.

Amazing work! Sean and his crew are very professional, and great to work with. Wouldn't hesitate to use their services again in the future.

SCS contracting and Remodeling did a phenomenal job for me, removing Popcorn Ceiling from the entire house, texturing and painting the ceiling and touching up several walls for me. It was a HUGE MESSY Job but I’m so thankful and grateful that they did such a great job. Sean, his son and crew are hardworking, honest and kind. I highly recommend SCS Contracting and remodeling!!

We hired SCS Contracting LLC to do a full kitchen and master bathroom remodel. We live in a unique house, so Sean’s professional design thoughts and feedback helped us maintain an updated style that matched the character of our home. We are glad that we hired SCS Contracting for our renovations; Sean and his crew did a great job. We are very happy with the way the everything turned out and we are excited to use our newly renovated rooms for years to come.

We had a great experience with SCS Contracting! Our older home had issues with nails falling through the wood in the ceiling, and their team came in to completely reinstall and fix everything. They were kind, professional, and transparent throughout the entire process. The pricing was fair and reasonable, and they made sure we understood every step along the way. We’re extremely happy with the results and would absolutely recommend SCS Contracting to anyone looking for quality, honest work!

We had a pretty small master bath which is hard to make shine, but they did. This is an outstanding contractor. Superb craftsmanship. Professional behavior. Actually finished the job earlier than expected. Sean and his guys are so good at what they do, you feel at ease as soon as they start. I do not make it a habit of recommending any type of business because it can backfire on you more times than not. That said, I will have no qualms recommending Sean and his crew to anyone interested in the services they provide. Thanks SCS
The first 4 pictures below are the before pics. The last 3 are the after pics. Sean truly turned a pigs ear into a silk purse..even in my small bathroom. -
We are completely satisfied with the quality of craftsmanship Sean and his crew provided. We appreciate his patience during the planning phase of our project. We had to delay our project twice and changed the scope a couple of times but in each instance, Sean was professional and we were able to pick up where we left off.
Construction took a little longer than expected due to some unexpected issues with material availability but those were to accommodate some specific requests. Also, Sean worked with us through a few project modifications.
Our project was pretty sizable. We converted a garage into a guest suite, added a shower to an existing powder room, extended our utility room adding a new dog wash, added a new 4-car garage and added a new courtyard.
The experience was predominantly positive. My only complaints are there was a period during construction when communication could have been better and some of the clean up that I had to take of. -
A huge shoutout to SCS Contracting & Remodeling and Sean Feazell who did a fantastic job installing my pegboard wall and trimming and painting our storefront window. It looks amazing!
They were quick to respond to my needs with friendly and very professional service. Highly recommend this company!
