My sister recommended Refreshing Renovations after they completed several projects at her home, and I’m glad I followed her advice. I hired them to install a bidet toilet and regrout tiles in my bathroom, and I was very impressed with their service, professionalism, and communication.

The contractor, Maritza, if I recall correctly, took the time to explain the installation process clearly, showed me how to test for potential issues, and walked me through how to address them if they arise. His knowledge and thoroughness gave me complete confidence that the work was being done right.

Pricing was fair and reasonable, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. I would absolutely use their services again. Highly recommended!

Refreshing Renovations (PO BOX 7524, Romeoville, IL 60446 USA) completed our job to replace a bathroom shower door on or about September 19, 2025. Like many such bathroom-plumbing works, this is a complicated installation that can easily go wrong a hundred ways. The RR people planned it and did it at one go. Done right! Our compliments on the excellent work by the technician who visited us to install the shower door (apologies - I did not write down his name). He did an overall fantastic job, start to finish, earning a 100/100. He is competent, professional, and courteous. He answered all our questions patiently and stayed focused on the job without rushing it. Notably, the final cleanup was so thorough!
Earlier, the person who visited us for the estimation and measurement was equally good- very knowledgeable! The office personnel who handle the scheduling are very responsive and understanding of our (customers') changing needs and priorities. At first, we were concerned about the high-end quote, but every cent of the price was worth it.

Jenny and her team were wonderful to work with! After much debate on whether we wanted to remodel and who to choose, we were more than happy that we chose Jenny. It was great to have her as the main point of contact and she was always super responsive, provided great design ideas, was patient, and gave great service and the result and care we received was beyond expectations. We fully remodeled our kitchen and bathrooms and did flooring, paint, and lighting for the rest of the house. I would definitely choose Designs by Jenny for my next project!

We have a 1996 David Weekley home which sorely needed a remodel. We were very pleased with the remodel of our two bathrooms (hall and master) as performed by Designs by Jenny (DBJ). In the hall bathroom we upgraded everything and switched from a classic tub/shower to a standalone shower. The master bathroom had one of those jacuzzi tubs which we replaced with a modern standalone tub. Let me tell you how great it looks! The shower, like everything, was designed by Jenny and is simply amazing. We love the way everything looks!! Jenny has a good sense of style and taste and helped pick the materials for the project. I would have been lost without her. Additionally, DBJ has painted and carpeted the master bedroom. We will be using DBJ to provide painting and flooring throughout our home moving forward. I feel like we won the lottery by choosing to work with Designs by Jenny!!

We chose Designs by Jenny to do a full kitchen remodel based on her extensive experience and expertise remodeling other kitchens for the last 15 years. Her craftsmen provided high quality work and were very meticulous about getting everything done right, even if it meant coming back the next day. A wall was removed and all cabinets, flooring, and appliances were replaced in a new configuration that opened up the whole living area. We were surprised when the work was completed a week ahead of an aggressive schedule. Jenny and her team were also very cost conscious and worked hard to meet the budget even with the additional work items that were not originally envisioned. We highly recommended Designs by Jenny and we would use them again for any future projects.
