Jeff Dunn remolded my basement and did a fantastic job. All the sub-contractors he hired were super. They were always on time and explained everything they were doing. When they were finished they always cleaned up the mess. Jeff always checked that every detail was perfect. He always went over and above to make sure everything was perfect. The guy that put up our blinds couldn’t believe how straight the walls were. We are beyond thrilled with our basement. If you want something done right call Jeff Dunn you won’t be disappointed.

We used Jeff to complete our whole house renovation. We took a 1600 total sqft house from a multi family (2 small apartments) back into a single family home. We took this thing down to the studs. No floor, no walls, nothing - a complete gut. Now, I am writing this from the comfort of our gorgeous living room. Before we started the process, we asked for a general timeline. Jeff said he couldn't guarantee anything before demolition ("you never know what we could find behind these walls"), but we pressed him for a guess. He said 6-8 months. All of our friends, families, and neighbors said to double or triple that. We moved in 7 months later. Not only was Jeff on time, but he was courteous, patient (I ask a lot of questions), and has a smooth process designed that he follows to a T. Plus he is always just a text away. We used almost all of the sub-contractors that Jeff recommended and they all did amazing work. We had a floor guy and an HVAC guy that we wanted to use already, else we would have trusted Jeff's recommendations. That's the great thing about Jeff's model: in the beginning, he has all of the (his and/or your) suggested subcontractors come out to the house on "bid day," where they each get a full time slot to walk through the project, meet you, and give you an estimated cost. You select the subs and Jeff manages EVERYTHING from there. Timelines, order of operations, materials, etc. I am not aware of any other contractors who operate this way. There is flexibility with Jeff without sacrificing the overarching process. And again, all of his recommended subs were on budget, on time, and he even makes them clean the construction site every day before they leave. The entire project (and there were so many pieces) turned out extremely beautiful and sturdy. The work Jeff put into it (management, reviewing and approving the work, odds and ends jobs, etc) is priceless. Dare I even say this project was a little fun? We 10/10 would choose Jeff for any and every future job.

Project duration was approximately 3.5 months long; from starting to dig for the footers to getting the final inspection signed off.

Not only are they truly miracle workers but they kept me under budget and didn’t ever try to upsell me on anything. They were so kind, worked exceptionally quick, and kept everything easy. We had a kitchen remodel completed through their company and they did an amazing job! Professional throughout the entire process and the quality of work and attention to detail is above reproach. Cost wise it was what it should have been (which can worry some people of getting robbed by a shady contractor) and we actually saved money going through them for the countertops and cabinets. Time to complete the project was on time even with minor hiccups. Would recommend to anyone in the local area!

These guys are the best! We bought a home and had it totally remodeled. Dustin and his team came in and did a fantastic job on the entire house. We changed our mind a few times about a few different things lol. Dustin was totally understandable and helped us with deciding. He had fantastic ideas. Re-Do REVIEW:
My first review was predicated on not being able to give a workmanship review because I couldn't get hold of them.
REVISION: Owner's wife having a baby! I greatly appreciate a man that has his properties straight.
Mitch came out, and yet, still in the development stage, took all the details and offered great professional ideas.
But, here are some details I really like.
1) They are a small company thus offering a tight overview and control over the workers. and project.
2) Minimal use, if any , of Subcontractors!!! Huge Deal.
3) Located locally, again control over my project.
We will now evaluate their quote, fine tune, and great hopes to give them 5 - stars on workmanship as well as the ability to communicate throughout our 2 bathroom remodels.

We just completed a kitchen remodel with Straight Edge Builders. They turned our outdated 1972 kitchen into a beautiful, modern and very functional kitchen. They even completed the job under the estimated time frame. We feel they went above and beyond to ensure everything was completed to our satisfaction. A few small issues arose and were dealt with without any complications.

When they say they show up on time, they aren't kidding. After dealing with past contractors who don't respond to messages and are never there when they say they will be, Straight Edge Builders was a breath of fresh air. Each and every person I dealt with were courteous and professional. They don't look at you sideways when you have little messes here and there, they greet you with a smile and do a fantastic job. They repaired my chimney, coverted an old furnace closet into a storage closet, replaced a shed door, repaired drywall (you can't even see the repairs, installed a light, moved some light switches, and probably more I'm forgetting. If any details were not right, they fixed the problem. They are easy to communicate with, answering texts quite quickly and have a talented crew. I have them booked for some interior painting as well. They also accept several forms of payment. Highly recommended.

I recently hired Straight Edge Builders to do upgrades in two bathrooms and replace a front entry door. I’m really happy with the work they did and I will not hesitate to hire them again. Specifically, they listened to my needs and requests. They made really sensible suggestions and gave me good advice. They didn’t try to upsell me at any point. They began work right away, showed up on time each morning, and cleaned up after themselves. They worked fulltime every day until the job was done. The results look great and exactly as anticipated.
