Excellent workmanship and communication from day 1. Berry Basement cares about details and runs a smooth well coordinated process. I can't say enough about our experience.

Highly recommend Berry Basements! They finished ~1500sf of basement for us to match our upstairs style; 2 bedrooms, 1 large craft studio, 1 full bathroom, kitchenette, and entertainment space. We had a design plan going in, but they offered a number of suggestions that made the space look much better in the end and avoid unnecessary structural changes. They're very courteous entering and leaving the house, and the communication about when sub-contractors will arrive, overall project timing, and budget was all very transparent. We have a relatively new home built in 2020, and the quality was far superior than what the original builders; attention to detail was amazing from the 5 coats of trim paint, caulking around seams, and even the cleaning crew at the very end. Worth the investment!

We were very happy with our experience! We just found them through a Google search trying to find someone to finish our basement. From the initial visit to the last day Luke and his team were very professional and quick with responding and keeping us updated. He was very reasonable and gave great suggestions that my wife and I didn’t think about to go along with the space that we already were planning especially the bar area making it look great. Never gave the impression of a “pushy salesman” or pressuring us to get anything. Compromised on some things and is a fun guy to talk to! Everything went super smoothly and the communication was great through the whole process! Would recommend them to anyone and really happy with how it turned out.

We used Berry Renovations to finish our basement this past fall. Luke and his teams were very efficient and stuck the the timelines they laid out even though are project was larger than many they work on. Luke and his team did a great job finishing my basement a few months ago. Of the 5 quotes received for the project Luke's quote was right in the middle. We are extremely happy with our choice of Luke and his team. The basement looks awesome! Luke communicated well, gave suggestions and always wanted the look and quality to be perfect. The project timeline took a little longer than originally expected but was well work the wait.

All of Luke's sub-contractors were very friendly and helpful when discussing the details. Special shout out to Chad (ROC Construction) and his carpenters as the bunk beds turned out great!

Berry Basements did a PHENOMENAL job finishing our basement! We bought a new house with an unfinished basement and knew we wanted to finish it quickly after moving in. They were able to come see the basement and draw up plans before we even moved in and were able to get us on the schedule to start work shortly after we got possession of the house. Not only did they completely stay on track for the duration of the project but the quality is amazing! The sub contractors they used were are so friendly, respectful and very professional. David, Luke and Morne were amazing to work with and any issues or questions we had they jumped at so quickly to help resolve or get us answers. They were transparent with the cost and there were no surprise charges that can sometimes happen with big renovations. This is by far the best experience we’ve had working with a company for a large construction project - thank you all so much, we LOVE our new basement!

What truly sets Berry Basements apart is their ability to take that vague starting point and shape it into something far more refined, layered, and cohesive than we could have articulated at the beginning.

From the outset, they did not simply execute. They collaborated. As our ideas evolved and at times became more ambitious and complex, their team handled every adjustment thoughtfully and professionally. Layout refinements, upgraded finishes, custom details, additional built-ins. Nothing ever felt like a burden or an inconvenience to them. They helped pressure-test ideas, offered design-forward suggestions, and ensured each new layer of complexity integrated seamlessly into the overall plan.

Their project management was equally strong, with a huge shout out to David, who owns the day-to-day with a cool, calm, professionalism. Communication remained clear even as the scope evolved. Timelines were realistic, and changes were handled transparently. We always felt informed and supported rather than discouraged from elevating the space.

At no point did we feel pressured to make decisions or financial investments that were not right for us. There was never a hard sell, never an upsell, and never a sense that we were being steered toward options that did not align with our priorities. Recommendations felt thoughtful and grounded in what would genuinely improve the space.

The craftsmanship speaks for itself. The final result feels intentional and highly customized. It does not feel like a typical, cookie-cutter finished basement. It feels like a true extension of our home. The detailing, fit and finish, and overall polish more than exceeded our expectations.

Selection of materials was first class. Impact to remainder of house during the remodel was kept to a minimum. Little to no dust. Floors throughout the house were protected. House was cleaned at conclusion. Project manager was on top of details from beginning to end. Quality of the project exceeded expectations!
