After meeting with several companies we knew right away we'd go with RWB. Josh and Albert were the only ones to sit down with us after the initial walkthrough and talk specifics and discuss options, which led to an estimate that made sense and avoided unnecessary back and forth.

They helped us to open up our kitchen to the living room and remove our old patio roof. They were very knowledgeable and the team started work quickly. Albert was on site throughout the project to check in and help navigate any surprises. The team kept our house very clean and sectioned off the work area well, and the result was spotless. We would happily work with them again!

I needed a general contractor for some upgrades to my home, and I’m so glad I chose Red White & Blue Construction. They’re located in Lafayette, but they were able to accommodate my project in Walnut Creek. The team was efficient, and their attention to detail was top-notch.

This was a removal and replace of all bathroom tile in a 4th floor 1BR condo in uptown Oakland. Included bathroom floor, shower pan and walls. It's a large shower with the footprint of the former bathtub.

The guys did a great job and accommodated things that were important to me, including coming up with creative ways to work around and preserve the existing custom vanity. From what i understand, RWB does some pretty big jobs, and mine was small, but i i always felt like i was getting the attention that the owner of a mansion in the hills would get. Project Manager Albert and site supervisor Luis were a pleasure to work with - professional, respectful. The workers too. Luis even took care of the downstairs neighbor's concerns about tile debris flowing down through the floor (due to the way the building was constructed each unit is literally connected).

As another reviewer commented, remodeling is a pain, especially in a 1 bathroom unit. Luis and the guys tried to at least minimize trhe time period when the toilet was "offline."

RWB handled all of the permitting follow ups with the City, which was a load off of my plate.

Their bid was a bit lower than another one i obtained.

I highly recommend RWB. I was influenced by the high ratings on Google and YELP, and those ratings are real.

The budget went from an initial $90,000 to $250,000. Red walked off the job. We had to pay another company to tear down and reconstruct our timber tech fence. Additionally parts of the build were left unpainted and three gates had to be replained and rehung as they would not close.

Red White & Blue Construction helped us with a general home renovation, and we couldn’t be more pleased. The team was professional, the work was completed on time, and the quality exceeded our expectations. Their office in Lafayette made it easy to coordinate everything. Highly recommend!

I recently started working with Red White & Blue Construction on a new ADU project. I have been very pleased with how consistently responsive Josh (the owner) has been. He has been very easy to work with, has communicated openly and honestly about all aspects of my project, his pricing is reasonable, and on numerous occasions has shared multiple possible options for handling challenging situations. He has also provided several references for past work he has completed and projects he is currently working on. Past customers of his have confirmed my impressions and have had similar experiences when they worked with him. I would definitely recommend him as a general contractor for both new construction and renovations.

We recently worked with Red White & Blue Construction on a garage renovation project where we excavated parts of our garage and converted a crawl space into a new studio. We hired RWB because of a referral from a friend, their competitive pricing, and Josh’s responsiveness throughout the bidding process.

Throughout the project, Josh was our main point of contact, and his responsiveness was impressive. Whenever we had questions or encountered any issues, Josh was readily available to address them, ensuring a smooth process from start to finish.

Overall, we’re happy with how the project turned out and we enjoyed working with Josh and some of his sub-contractors. We will be sure to give Josh a call if we ever do another project on our house.

The interior of our home was desperately in need of a major remodel. Literally nothing had been done to improve or modify the kitchen and bathrooms since the home was built in or around 1990. So in early 2024 we started interviewing contractors. It wasn’t until we met Josh that we knew we had found the right guy. Josh and his entire team of workers at RW&B Construction were a pleasure to work with from the initial consultation to the very end. We were able to work with Josh and his designer Natalie and they listened to our requests, needs, and preferences, and they provided expert guidance throughout the design process. Everything was drawn and planned out beforehand, and then the excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail by the workers brought the vision to life. New tiles, new floors, new counter tops, new back splashes, new paint, new lighting, and new fixtures. The end result exceeded our expectations. We could not be happier with our kitchen and bath room remodel by RW&B Construction.

Josh is a great communicator and kept us informed of what was going to happen on a daily basis.
He was very fair and easy to work with when unexpected issues came up, and he accommodated several changes when obstacles were thrown at us during the project. We would definitely hire him again.

We hired Red White & Blue Construction to renovate our master bathroom, and it feels like a spa now! Josh was incredibly patient with us during the planning phase, and his team was professional and respectful of our home. The quality of the work is exceptional, and we are thrilled with the outcome.

We hired Josh to construct a large 800+ sq.ft. addition to our home. The remodel was on time and high quality. We later again hired Josh to attach on a sunroom (see below photos). Everything again was high quality and on time. I would not hesitate to hire Josh again.

After talking to the couple of contractors, I am happy to say that I made the right choice with RWB Construction. Josh and his crew were tasked with remodeling my entire home and adding a master suite. The crew was great to work with and found creative solutions to any issues that we discovered along the way. They were respectful and attentive to my requirements. My project was completed on time, in fact a bit earlier than i anticipated. His foreman Alfredo and his crew even worked weekends and late nights when required. I am very happy with the final results and RWB construction was able to finish the project reasonably close to my budget. Highly recommend RWB Construction, great quality, timely and in budget!

I had a full kitchen remodel… No structural walls were removed. However, the entire kitchen was gutted.
