My husband and I were so impressed by our initial consultation that we decided to use this company for our kitchen remodel. At first we were apprehensive about remodeling, but Josh and his team made us feel comfortable. He always checked in with us and kept us updated. The crew did a quality job. The countertops, backsplash and kitchen cabinets look great! I love the design and really enjoy our new kitchen.

My bathroom needed an facelift, and boy, did Red White & Blue Construction deliver! Josh was a beacon of professionalism, guiding me through design choices. His team, diligent and respectful, turned my mundane bathroom into a spa-like retreat. Their punctuality is noteworthy; each phase was completed on time and the communication was great. The transformation is awe-inspiring, to say the least. Kudos!

After seeing many remodeling contractors, we made a decision to go with Josh and Red White & Blue Construction. Josh was definitely the most professional contractor we met. He has great eye for any small detail and gave us great advice. Red White & Blue were not the cheapest estimate, but it was definitely worth it for the quality work that was done by the team and the great communication we had with Josh. It's a stressful process to remodel a kitchen but with the assistance of Josh, he made it easy for us and helped us to choose all the materials.
Our kitchen came out perfect!

Red, White & Blue Construction converted our detached two car garage to a one bedroom, one bath ADU. I spoke with no less than 10 general contractors since this was by far the biggest home project we had ever embarked on. We initially went with Josh and his team because their pricing seemed fair, the projects they were currently working on were impressive, and most importantly Josh was communicative and trustworthy.

The project timelines, scope of work and cost were all fairly accurately predicted. There were minimal change orders for some unforeseen city demands. Josh was easy to contact and utilized whatsapp to communicate questions, photos, videos, concerns. Josh’s team, led by Ricardo worked extremely hard, were friendly, clean and thorough. They worked on some weekends, extended hours into the night, and even on holidays, unrequested. We were even a little sad when the project completed because we were so used to the team being in our yard making noticeable changes.

Josh was flexible and allowed me to purchase many finished materials and was clear on what rough materials were covered. We customized just about everything to our liking and were given great suggestions, regarding paint, cabinetry, fixtures, lighting, countertop and backsplash, and fencing. Red, White & Blue Construction was flexible when I added an accent wall and electric fireplace mid project.

When issues arose, Red, White & Blue Construction promptly diagnosed and promptly fixed them. They tore down the subway tile in the bathroom and redid it, because it initially wasn’t straight enough, even though I wouldn’t have noticed and did not request the fix.

Post project completion Red, White & Blue Construction has honored their warranty and has quickly fixed any of the few issues that arose. Our tenant clogged the plumbing. Red, White & Blue Construction fixed it for free the day after it was reported, even though it was the fault of our tenant.

The before and after photographs speak for themselves. We’re extremely pleased with the results and would 100% recommend Red, White & Blue Construction for any future project, especially projects large in scale such as conversions, additions and remodels.

Red, White & Blue Construction has given us a beautiful ADU that now provides monthly passive income as a rental and allows for future flexibility as a possible inlaw unit, or place where our girls can live in the distant future. We hired Red White and Blue Construction in Berkeley for a complete kitchen remodel that involved removing two structural walls, adding a shear wall, and reworking the layout. The finished kitchen looks great and feels open and comfortable.

Josh and his team completed a garage conversion for us. We are extremely happy with the outcome. It looks absolutely beautiful. We got quotes from 5 different contractors and ultimately chose RWB because of their competitive estimate and the positivity of the owner, Josh. He had a “can do” attitude about the project and made it all a reality.

My wife and I met with 5 different general contractors before deciding to move forward with Red White & Blue Construction and we are so happy we did. Our project consisted of taking our kitchen down to the studs to come up with an entirely new layout, moving our washer/dryer to a separate part of the house and creating increased/new closet space in the primary bedroom.

Josh and his team quoted us a timeline of 2 months before the project kicked off and they completed everything almost to the day. What we appreciated most about Josh was that he was hands on and even came up with some new ideas that ended up working better than our original ones, remained acutely attentive from start to finish which made us feel like we were his only client, he was honest in unexpected change orders that occurred while not pushing us to do unnecessary upgrades and his communication was 10/10. He really made us feel like we were taken care of throughout the project.

We could not be happier with our new space and will definitely be using Red, White & Blue Construction in future projects.

When we bought our house, it had unrealized potential. It was functional (except for the shower that would leak water into the room below), but less than ideal -- the low ceilings in the kitchen felt cramped, the laundry obstructed the path to the backyard, which was mostly concrete slab so not inviting anyway, and the cabinets/kitchen floor/bathroom tile were from the 1960's and showing their age.
Josh and his team made the house sparkle. Walls and doors were moved, ceilings were raised, foundation was reinforced, floors were leveled. For the affected rooms, everything is new aside from some original framing. It looks fantastic and feels much larger despite occupying the same footprint.
What I like about working with Josh is that he has good design sense and he is unruffled. If something doesn't look right, he'll redo it. If a part is delayed, they'll adapt the schedule. We asked for some small changes and he accommodated without asking for a change order. The biggest disaster was about the kitchen sink window -- it was installed out of position and we didn't realize until cabinet installation (the official plans didn't specify the position so the team put it in the middle of the wall, but the cabinet plans required it to be 8" off center). Josh just said "we'll fix it" and they did, though it took a week.
I hope to never do something like this ever again, but if I did I'd hire Josh.

We recently remodeled our bathroom and could not be happier. Josh and his team handled everything—plumbing, electrical, tiling, and installation—and the finished space is beautiful. One of the best parts of working with this company was having an in-house designer. Jocelyn guided us through showrooms, helped us stay on budget, and made design choices so much easier. The crew was professional and reliable throughout the entire process. We highly recommend them to anyone considering a remodel!
