We hired Promodeling for a bathroom and basement floor remodeling project. From the beginning, both the owner (Guy) and the project manager (Mike) were very attentive, friendly, and informative about the process, constantly communicating and giving us updates thru their app and by phone. Even when issues arised during construction, the project manager was very quick in making sure every one of our concerns was resolved. Overall, I will highly recommend the company for any project small or large. We were extremely happy with the timeline and the finished product.

AWFUL - SCAMMERS - INCOMPETENT

These guys don't know what they are doing for commercial construction. They completely misrepresented themselves, their company, and their capabilities. I ended up having to fire them and hire a new company. They couldnt understand how to do commercial construction and it was clear at every point. the new contractor had to fix most everything they did. It was awful. I will be planning legal action and recommend everyone beware of using them. I have many many documents, receipts, and records of their ineptitude. Please reach out to me if you are considering using them and I will show you why you shouldn't.

Closet remodeled to fit a washer/dryer. The team did a good job. Had a few issues (the team painted the walls the wrong color, broke a light switch, chipped a door; they fixed them though) but their quote was the best.

Guy and his team installed all new doors, did a partial bathroom remodel and retrofitted and installed a pocket door to separate the front of the house from the rear addition.
The work was completed in a timely manner with professionalism and courteousness.
I would highly recommend.

I had a wonderful experience with Promodeling replacing my roof, windows and Siding. Gilad and his team are true professional, always keeping me up to date. I was very hesitant doing a project like this since I had no luck finding qualified people to do this substantial remodel of the outside of my house. Gilad was transparent, accessible and honest about the work being done and what it would cost. His team was very friendly and always mindful of people (and cats!) in the house. Gilad has his own team and is not subcontracting. The work was done very fast (2 months) and the quality is amazing. I feel I have a new house!

Work to replace woodrotten T11 wall siding was done timely and within budget. Accomodations were made to do additional minor necessary work not originally in contract. Major damage that occurred during construction were fixed. Only caveat is that if there were any woodrot underneath the T11 wall siding, they will not check for it. Need to hire someone else to check this before they proceed with installing the new T11 wall siding next time.

This company gave me an estimate for my ADU, and the price they quoted upfront was exactly what I was hoping for. The owner, Jordan, responded right away to all my questions—he’s very kind and professional. I will definitely refer him to all my friends who need an ADU.

Promodeling remodeled our offices in San Francisco and did a fantastic job. The team was professional, easy to work with, and kept everything on track. The new space looks great and our team already loves it. We’re really happy with the results and would definitely recommend Promodeling.

Promodeling did a total renovation of our kitchen, including cabinets, countertops, new lighting, new flooring, new appliances and new plumbing. They did an excellent job! Our team was lead by Roberto Moretti and included Jerson Batres and Pedro Lara. We were very pleased with our project managers, Suzanne Brinkerhoff and Dante Cohen, as issues were addressed issues so the project stayed on schedule. Their recommendations for countertop and flooring suppliers were very helpful and saved us money!

My experience with Promodeling was terrible. Had them do a large addition and it took a year longer than promised. Guy kept hitting me with change orders that didn't make sense. One time he wanted $2000 upfront and wouldn't even tell me what it was for until after I paid. Turns out it was just for him answering questions from a sub. I wasn't even allowed to talk to the subs directly. Eventually had to get an attorney involved, and Guy's response was to charge me for his time dealing with my lawyer. I also noticed older negative reviews have disappeared from this page, and I know for a fact some of the good reviews were from employees. Be careful with this one.

Their project managers as well as the owner, Guy, are incredibly talented as well as honest, transparent, and communicative at every step of the process. We used Promodeling Inc. for our tenant improvement project at our office building complex in El Cerrito. Their team handled the installation of tile throughout the building, flooring, baseboards, and interior painting. The work was done meticulously and with great attention to detail. We’re very pleased with the final results and would gladly recommend Promodeling to anyone looking for a reliable and professional construction company.

1950s bathroom remodel to modern! We swapped toilet and vanity locations and also added an extra feature so I could turn on the water on the left and let the water warm up before stepping into my new shower. Promodeling designer Alexandra was absolutely great to work with. Easy communication, planning, and really made it easy for me to make quick decisions. The guys working on the bathroom were thorough and quick. I highly recommend this company and Alexandra for your next remodel project!

We hired Promodeling to redo our 1963-vintage small bathroom, on the basis of a first meeting with Alexandra, who also was project manager. She impressed us with her knowledge and attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. She really listened as we described what we wanted. Later, she assigned a terrific team to the project. The estimate was competitive and even as the project got more complicated, change orders and billing were clear. Led by Brian and his dad, Bladimir, they had an impressive array of skills and a serious work ethic. Brian was proactive about problems that arose during the job, and always explained what was going on and what options we had. Our job was a little different, in that we wanted to keep our existing toilet, vanity and sink, and cabinet, because though old, we like them. They understood and worked with us on this. We also had very nice slate tiles in the room already and the crew did their best to save as many as possible to use in the new floor, when the old one had to be pulled up. Due to issues with termites, the job was more complex, extensive (and expensive!) than originally estimated -- but the Promodeling team's professionalism and clear communication, made the whole situation much less traumatic than it could have been.

Our three bathroom remodel with Promodeling was outstanding. From the initial consultation to the final walk-through, their professionalism was exceptional. The craftsmanship is incredible, and they delivered on their promise of professional work product. Our project manager, Dante, was our main point of contact and kept us informed with weekly updates, which was invaluable. Our foreman, Juan, was meticulous throughout the project and double-checked his teams finished work product. They handled unexpected structural issues with expertise, and their attention to detail in every aspect—from relocating two sewer pipes to the custom master bathroom—truly exceeded our expectations. We love our newly renovated bathrooms and are so grateful for their hard work and dedication.

We interviewed 6 SF contractors and chose Promodeling, Inc based upon references, price and their Project Manager, Alexandra. Alexandra took us through very detailed plans on how project would be handled, from SF Permitting, HOA approval procedure, material choices and delivery coordination as well as inspections to completion well within the window promised. Their construction team led by Bladimir and Brian were superb. They were masters in their crafts, very timely, organized and neat…respectful of our property and building. We would highly recommend Promodeling, Inc. of El Cerrito.

We planned a major bathroom remodel of two bathrooms and the addition of a ½ bath/powder room. We got bids from 4 contractors and Promodeling, Inc. was the best. They created a clear and detailed proposal with a competitive price. Alexandria, our project manager, is helping, knowledgeable, and a genuinely nice person. She helped with the design and maintained excellent communication throughout. Juan, the foreman, and his crew did excellent work. They arrived on time everyday and cleaned up daily. They all kept the project moving along. Alexandria handled all of the permit issues with the city. We highly recommend them for any project.

We recently had our master bathroom fully remodeled by Promodeling Inc, and the finished space looks straight out of a design magazine. Their craftsmanship and attention to detail were exceptional from reconfiguring the layout for better flow to upgrading the plumbing, installing custom vanities, and adding radiant-heat tile floors. Throughout the project, the team provided daily updates with photos and clear notes on next steps, which made the process stress-free. They also included us in every design decision, from faucet finishes to grout colors and lighting placement, so there were no surprises along the way. At the final walkthrough, they even touched up a few small caulk lines without hesitation. The result is a bathroom that feels both luxurious and comfortable exactly what we envisioned.

We recently remodeled our bathroom with Promodeling and I’m so happy with how everything turned out. Andrea helped us with the design and she really understood what we were trying to achieve. Dante was our project manager and kept everything organized and moving, and Will and his crew did such an amazing job.
The price felt very fair for the service and the quality they deliver. Me and my partner are truly happy with the results. We always struggled with the space, but they opened it up beautifully. Now we have a double sink, more storage, and the whole bathroom looks so chic. We love it!

I had a really "GREAT" experience with Promodeling Inc. I had my kitchen and bathroom totally gutted and transformed. I totally love the results! Dante our Project Manager took us all the way from design to build, he was knowledgeable, responsive and very professional. I also received a great help with sourcing materials, design and contractor discounts from some vendors. The construction crew especially Juan the foreman was very helpful, work hard, clean, respectful to our space and what I am mostly appreciated it's the final touch.
The project took about 8 weeks, initially I got promised it will take only 7 weeks but one week of delay is means nothing compare to other stories of delays I have heard.
The bid I received from Dante was on the high side compare to others I got but I decided to go with Promodeling after I was referred to them through a friend. I feel lucky that I got what I paid for,! I have now beautiful kitchen, relocated some plumbing, upgrade all new electrical, new island and most efficient lay out that fits my needs. In the bathroom I changed the bath tub into a shower and install all new fixtures. I highly recommend Dante and the team of Promodeling to any and all people wanting to do a remodel thank you so much for a job well done!
