I love my new bathroom. Highly recommend

We cannot recommend them for the following reasons.

- Poor communication: Not only did these guys loosely represent the truth on numerous occasions, but they also deviated from instructions regularly. They told us they don't use 3rd party sub-contractors, however that became untrue. The company website says “Est 1977” - none of them were even born in 1977. We told them to reuse our existing baseboard, this did not happen and the stuff they replaced it with is of significantly lower workmanship/quality and finished with shoddy painting/staining. We told them to mount shelves in our shower, this didn’t happen ‘till after the fact (more here later). We requested daily updates, as we were out of town during the job, this didn’t happen…You get the gist of it.

- Limited attention to detail: In many instances their actions (or those of the subs they hired) were downright disrespectful. The list of grievances we have is too long to list, and includes finding a razor blade (from a utility knife) left in our yard (we have a 1.5 year old son who they all met), trash left everywhere - including nails, cigarette butts, chewed gum, leftover Quikrete was dumped into our yard (they “cleaned it up”.... not really, we had to do it ourselves) and discarded wood & tile scraps. When the job was "done" it took four days of our own tidying, and a professional cleaner, to make it livable and the dust was literally still setting.

- Inability to meet timelines:. It took an additional three weeks beyond the promised finish date to get a working shower door installed and fix all the other issues (trim, paint, etc.) Eventually they just subbed the door out for manufacturing and installation. The tile ended up very nice, but then they destroyed a large portion of it to mount shelves and we ended up with a shower that would've undoubtedly leaked unless we demanded it get repaired, which they had to return again to complete.

Nice guys, but they weren’t honest about their capabilities and the craftsmanship was well below expectations given what we paid. To be fair, they provided a discount and were always polite, which we appreciate. They will not be working on our basement bathroom, that is also due a remodel. Proceed at your own risk.

The saga continues…about a month after they left, our shower drain clogged for no apparent reason. Turns out they just washed the extra grout, concrete and such down the drain, which ultimately hardened and clogged it up. Given our aforementioned issues, we didn’t trust them to fix it and hired a pro, who had to use a mechanical snake to unclog it. This alone didn’t warrant an update…well, less than a year later, the caulking they used around the base of the shower started to peel out. Now we get to figure out how to fix that. Which, as most of you probably know, isn’t nearly as easy as it seems.

Great communication and timely service. I highly recommend this team of true professionals!

I recently had Evergreen Plumbing & Remodeling install a tankless water heater. They walked me through the benefits of going tankless and helped me choose the right model for my home. The installation was seamless, and they left the area clean and tidy. The new water heater works flawlessly.

Highly recommend! The crew installed a new water heater in our home, and we couldn't be more pleased with their service. Evergreen Plumbing really knows their stuff! They made setting up our jacuzzi tub a breeze. It's been running perfectly, and we're loving our new relaxation spot. Definitely the best choice for jacuzzi services!

After having to re-install our jacuzzi tub twice with a previous company, I decided to go out on a limb and consult Evergreen Plumbing. Thank goodness I did-- my bathtub has provided nothing but a luxurious bathing experience since!

End result is good but not happy with the process.

The UGLY
- I was told on demo day that the quoted amount for the shower door wasn't going to be enough for the custom glass that that the glass would be approximately $1,000 more. I said 'okay, add it to the bill.' They didn't add it to the bill. The bathroom minus the custom glass was completed, then the glass guys came to measure. I asked about final pricing adjustments based on materials and delays and they told me they'd honor the initial proposal. We paid them in full. Skip ahead 1.5 weeks when the glass is installed. The glass guys tell me that there's a note that the homeowner would pay the final bill. This was never discussed and they said they'd go back to Evergreen Plumbing to discuss. I get a call the next day saying that the FULL bill was on me and that Evergreen Plumbing hadn't paid ANY of it. Kicker: the final bill was $2,700, not the $1,000 I was expecting. I had never seen a quote or proposal or approved anything for this additional cost. When I reached out, the guys said that they'd communicated that the glass was on us since they didn't do any of that work.

The bad
- Communication and scheduling was a struggle from start to finish. I can't count the number of times I was told someone would be here at X time only to have the time delayed or for them to show up earlier than planned.
- No drawings were done to plan out the new wall or fixtures would be so I had to describe the plan to each subcontractor as they came in and each one had to come back at least once to fix something that was missed or placed incorrectly.
- Subcontractors were sub-par. The guys they hired to do a bathroom remodel in the mountains had never seen a well system. That wouldn't have been an issue if they hadn't broken the water shut-off in the off position leaving us without running water for nearly 24 hours.
- The project was proposed to take 2 weeks. It took 6. We were without a working main floor bathroom for 4 of those.
- These guys had no idea how to handle permits or inspections.
- These guys don't know plumbing code and don't hire sub-contractors that know code. Each plumbing inspection had to be done at least 2-3 times before we passed.
- Through the course of this renovation, these guys put a hole in my bedroom wall, the closet ceiling downstairs and nailed through a charged water pipe causing water to leak into the ceiling of the bathroom downstairs. All of these things were fixed but really? I can understand 1 mistake like that but 3?

The good
- The guys themselves were friendly and personable. I, generally, didn't mind them in my house and they were nice to my dog.
- The end result is what I asked for.

This is the best general contractor I have worked with. Most importantly, they did great work and got started much quicker than other companies. Very courteous and professional. Average prices.

They did a full bathroom (custom shower, vanity, plumbing, drywall, paint), 3 rooms of carpet, more drywall/paint, and trim. Oh and a little LVP (vinyl) landing. The shower looks awesome, pretty clean tile work all around. Everything came out nice, minus a few minor issues with the trim carpentry, but Mason got that fixed for me.

I would definitely recommend this company for remodel and repair work. Despite being relatively new, they did great work across multiple trades and got started weeks sooner than other companies.

I highly recommend choosing Evergreen Plumbing and Remodeling for your bathroom remodel! Their work on my 3 bathrooms and carpet was outstanding and I’m thrilled with their design and results. I now have the master bathroom of my dreams! TJ, Mason and their crew were reliable, trustworthy and dependable. Not only did they do quality work, but the price was affordable and reasonable especially when compared to other remodeling companies in the area. 10 out of 10!

We hired Evergreen Plumbing & Remodeling for a complete bathroom remodel, and we are thrilled with the results. Mason and TJ were both involved in the project, and their attention to detail was exceptional. They listened to our ideas, offered great suggestions, and executed the plan flawlessly. The workmanship is outstanding, and they were respectful of our home throughout the process. 10/10.
