Select did an amazing job on my bathroom renovations. Their removal/demo of old fixtures was fast, efficient, and not disruptive. The installation of new tub, fixtures, and tile was done throroughly and professionally, and they finished ahead of schedule. The team showed up early every day and the project manager, Paul, called each morning and stopped by to check on progress. I would definitely use Select again for another project.

We just had Select Kitchen and Bath install a tiled walk-in shower, along with some other ancillary work. They did an excellent job on everything. The planning with Sergio went smoothly. The workers, Joe and Luis, doing the installation were first rate. Some adjustment to the framing was necessary because the house is of an historic period, and it was handled seamlessly. The tile installation was top-notch. Rick, the owner/manager checked on the progress regularly and responded in an engaging way to any questions and led us through any decisions that we had to make. We are very pleased with the result. We had Select do some work previously, and we waited until they had an opening for this job because we knew they would do the job well and would be good to work with.

Our bathroom remodeling experience with Select Kitchen & Bath was great, and we were really pleased with the results. We had one original hall bathroom that needed remodeling and another which they added in our basement (plumbing, electrical, design etc.) We found Select Kitchen & Bath's pricing to be in-line with their competitors, but their prompt responses to all of our inquiries made them an easy choice. We worked with Derek to design our bathrooms, and he was incredibly helpful with choosing colors, fixtures, flooring etc. Our project manager/owner Rick checked in with us almost daily as soon as the work started. He was available all hours to answer any questions we might have had about the process. We had one crew throughout the entire project led by Jaime and they were equally wonderful. We are very happy with the results, and will definitely go to them first when we inevitably remodel our master bathroom next. We highly recommend Select Kitchen & Bath!

My project consisted of remodeling my 33 year. old master bathroom. I chose Select Kitchen & Bath after taking bids from several companies. The workmanship was superb. The attention to detail was excellent. The work was completed on time and under budget. Highly recommend this company for either bathroom or kitchen.

We had a bathroom remodel by Select. Amanda, who provides excellent customer service worked diligently with us to make selections that would meet our needs. The crew that carried out the remodel were respectful of our daily routine, making all possible efforts to reduce dust and noise. We were kept up to date on the progress of the project and in the end are very pleased with the new bathroom. It's a small space and it is amazing what they were able to do with it. I would choose Select for future remodels.

We used Select Kitchen & Bath to renovate our main and hall bathrooms. They replaced sinks/vanities, lighting, shower fixtures, shower doors, and the tile flooring. They also removed an outdated jacuzzi and installed new bathroom cabinets. They did an excellent job on all aspects of the project. The initial planning with Derek, including the selection of the replacement pieces, tiles, and paint, went smoothly. He is an astute listener, with a good eye for design. He understood our needs and offered us selections that met those needs and also met our price points. The technicians/installers, Joe, Ricardo, and Lou, who performed the work were first rate. They prepared our apartment for the renovation work so as to minimize impact on our living space and environment. They worked diligently, efficiently, and with great skill and attention. Rick and John, the project managers, were also top-notch and coordinated closely with their team and with us throughout the project. Some adjustments to the project were necessary because of the way the plumbing and electrical wiring in the building are configured, and due to how previous owners of our unit had modified the old floor tiling. All of those adjustments were handled by Joe and Ricardo, as well as Rick, with professionalism, and with little interruption to the project schedule. The tile installation in particular was impressive with beautiful end results in both bathrooms. Rick checked on the project progress regularly and responded to all our questions and concerns. He also gave us helpful advice on any new decisions we had to make. In summary, we are very pleased with our renovated bathrooms and will certainly use Select Kitchen & Bath again for future renovation projects.

We had a great experience with Select on our recent kitchen remodel. The initial consultation and estimate breakdown was very professional and the most informative of the 5 contractors that provided estimates. It was a large project that took 6 weeks which was 2-3 weeks earlier than the initial estimated time. The quality of work from the crew was top-notch and they were very polite and kept things as clean as possible to control the dust and disturbance to the rest of the house. We would definitely use them again for future projects.

We did a complete kitchen remodel including knocking out the pantry and moving a window. Dereck did a beautiful design and Jaime is an excellent carpenter. We couldn’t be happier with the experience and the results!

We wholeheartedly recommend Select Kitchen and Bath. As aging baby boomers, we faced the challenge of renovating our master bathroom to accommodate aging in place while also dreading the inevitable disruptions of a remodel. After reviewing five companies, we overwhelmingly chose Select Kitchen and Bath as the best fit.

Their team was exceptional. Amanda Lovejoy, our project designer, worked closely with us to create a thoughtful design that incorporated our requests for more storage, easy-to-maintain tile, lighted medicine cabinets, and additional lighting. John Marburger, our project manager, kept us informed every step of the way, providing updates on deliveries and the project's progress. He was always accessible, knowledgeable, and incredibly supportive whenever we had concerns or questions.

Finally, Joe, the lead installer, and his team brought everything together flawlessly—from installing appliances and tile to painting, carpentry, and electrical work. Thanks to their expertise, we now have a beautifully renovated bathroom that we truly love and enjoy.

Select Kitchen & Bath did a fantastic job remodeling my bathroom. So professional and easy to work with. Very responsive to all questions and concerns. Rick, Amanda and Luis were so helpful from the start of the project to the end. The workmanship was excellent and they were VERY clean and considerate during the demolition and remodel. The short version of this review is we were very happy with the work Select Kitchen and Bath did for us and would not hesitate to use them again. Our project, which was completed in January 2025, consisted of a complete remodel of two full bathrooms which were vintage 1983. Amanda was our designer, Mark was the lead installer, and John was the project manager. All three of them provided welcome suggestions, good guidance and advice throughout the process… starting with clear and transparent service agreements. Select was very accommodating with scheduling and access to the house / workspaces. Questions were answered promptly by Amanda, Mark and John, and any concerns were addressed to our satisfaction. Our new bathrooms are great!

We could not be happier with the outcome of the master bathroom remodel. The process (from first consultation with Derek whose overall expertise in the business helped guide us to the best decisions concerning products and design); construction phase, final follow-through, and the constant attention to detail that both Luis (the craftsman who did the actual remodel) and Rick (the Project Manager who ensured a very smooth transition through every phase) displayed. While everyone at Select Kitchen & Bath that we had contact with was very professional and knowlegeable, we must highlight Luis as the star of the show. Luis arrived promptly every day, and executed every phase of construction with old world craftsmanship. He ensured that there was never any uncertainty during the project - when there were questions as to what we wanted (such as handle heights, hardware location, etc), he would always check with us before moving forward; we were never surprised. At the end of every day, Luis would leave the work area meticulously clean, and ready for the next day. We would highly recommend Select Kitchen & Bath for your bathroom projects without hesitation. An outstandingly excellent job.

Highly recommend Select: I looked at 10 cos for my small reno, interviewed 5 and they were far and away the best. Very creative initial meeting to discuss options, extraordinary workmanship by our crew of Alvaro and Jorge, and numerous visits to check in by owner, Rick. Reasonable cost for what was done - I typically select the median price - and the work was completed on time. My project was "surgical: we removed portions of walls to open up a colonial home (while we were living here) so likely more difficult than starting from scratch. Wonderful, seamless experience.

Select Kitchen and Bath did a complete kitchen remodeling including replacing 40 year-old wiring, redesigning the location of appliances to provide 50% more counter space, installing a new ceiling with recessed LED lighting, installing new and expanded cabinetry and adding granite countertops. In addition they installed all the new appliances we purchased. They stayed on schedule (6 weeks) and on budget. We are extremely happy with the results.

I required a bathroom repair (water leak required toilet to be removed and existing tile was removed) on my main floor bathroom. Rather than trying to match the remaining tile and have a repair job, we ended up deciding on doing a full remodel. I interviewed approximately 5 contractors in the area and went with Select Kitchen and Bath. They were extremely knowledgeable, and guided us through the entire process.

In total we had installed: new toilet, new tub, new vanity, new mirrored cabinet, new light fixture. New floor and wall tile. We also had a new bathroom vent installed as there was not one existing, and a new window as the existing one was most likely original to the house (1958). The construction in total took 2.5 weeks.

It has been approximately 1 month since the project was completed and I am as happy with the results as I am when it was first completed. This is our only tub in the house and with a small child we are exclusively bathing in there.

I worked with Derek to initiate the project, get an estimate and order parts and cabinetry. I worked with Rick who organized and managed the on-site work. Richard was the person who single-handedly turned a broken, dilapidated bathroom into a beautiful new oasis in the house. All were extremely helpful and dedicated to creating the best experience and outcome for me and my family.

This winter Select Kitchen & Bath finished our kitchen. I wanted to wait on our review until the 'new kitchen smell' was over and I could be more objective. I FREAKIN' LOVE OUR NEW KITCHEN!!!!! Derek was patient and helpful as we went over design choices. Rick came by on a regular basis to check on the progress and how we were feeling. The kitchen was over 30 years old and had never been refreshed much less redone. I wanted to make sure we made the right choices since we probably wouldn't be doing this again. It was a total gut job. The old cabinets had suffered water damage, we wanted to get rid of the peninsula, and move the fridge. New hardware, backsplash, sink, ... Joe, who did most of the work, was very detail oriented and worked hard to make our kitchen as perfect as possible.

We LOVE Select Kitchen & Bath! We had our hall bathroom done in 2018 and it was great. So good in fact we just had them redo our master bath this year. They have great designers and their technicians are expert. We couldn't have asked for better.

I highly recommend Select Kitchen and Bath. They recently completed a multi-room remodel for my family that included a full gut and reconfiguration of the kitchen, full remodel of two bathrooms and a den, and the installation of a custom storage closet, new stairs, new flooring, and several heavy-duty doors. This company does it all! From the initial concept to the final punch list, Select was a pleasure to work with. We first met with a designer who thoughtfully walked us through the process, proposed layout and budget options, and discussed all the possibilities for fixtures and appliances. He then took us to several building supply stores to help pick out and coordinate the cabinets, countertops, flooring, tile, paint, etc. He did a great job keeping our heads from spinning from all the decisions we had to make. We were then assigned a dedicated project manager who was always available onsite or on the phone to answer questions, provide suggestions, and keep the project on time and on budget. He also worked directly with the construction crew, who were all friendly and amazing workers. The crew were skilled craftsmen who paid attention to detail and made sure we were happy with every installation. Select, Kitchen and Bath did an amazing job sticking to a tight deadline and minimizing the time we spent out of our house. Our neighbors were always impressed with how many trucks showed up in front of our house each and every day to get the job completed on time. If you want honest, quality service that's delivered on time and on budget, go with Select Kitchen and Bath.

Select Kitchen & Bath remodeled the small master bathroom in my DC condo. They removed the tub, sink, vanity, toilet & installed a walk-in, tiled shower and new vanity, fixtures and pocket door. Sergio was masterful and patient in designing every detail, incorporating a couple of my ideas he initially questioned, accompanying me to choose tiles, fixtures, etc. Luis did flawless work throughout, from tiling to plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and was an absolute pleasure, always willing to explain and answer my questions. Their work was completed on schedule. The only problem arose with the initial subcontractor who was unable to install the frameless sliding glass doors in the shower. After five visits, the shower doors leaked a lot. Rick then contracted with Dulles Glass which installed new doors perfectly. This delayed the completion of the bathroom but was handled well by Rick. I'm thrilled with my new bathroom!

Washington, DC, Capitol Hill - We just completed our kitchen and our main bathroom with Select Kitchen & Bath a couple of weeks ago. The overall experience was great. We have had some other work done to our condo and experienced difficulty with communication on behalf of other contractors. Select was extremely accessible from the beginning until the end. Every email was answered within a day, if not within hours. The initial project manager, Derek, was easy to work with and knowledgeable about all materials, options, and costs. He worked within our budget and provided great suggestions for what we were looking to do. We did not have a lot of specific ideas for what we were looking for, so we really relied on him for guidance. We also found our assigned contractors for the Kitchen (Jaime) and the bathroom (Nick) to be professional, friendly, and thoughtful as to how they were working in our home. Rick and Joe, the supervisors, would always answer our texts, emails, or calls and were equally helpful along the way. They also stopped by almost daily to check up on the work, noticing things that would not have stood out to us, but that they fixed to make sure that the project met extremely high standards of workmanship. Importantly, we felt like we were never being taken advantage of and that they wanted the project to be done right. We are thrilled with our new kitchen and bathroom. In short, we would use them again.

We chose Select Kitchen and Bath because they were recommended to us as a local distributor for the custom cabinets (by Lancaster Maid) we wanted for our kitchen remodel. The remodel entailed complete demolition and installation of new plumbing, electrical, flooring, switching from gas to induction range, etc, in a 1920 house with a small kitchen dating from the 50's. From the start, we were pleased with the design work that the Select team put into the project, particularly as we had space constraints. And once the work started, we were impressed with the skill, efficiency, and attention to detail throughout, from the care that went into re-insulating wall/floor spaces opened up to route plumbing and electrical, to the masterful paint work (including almost daily touch-ups as the work proceeded), to the follow-up in fitting a trim piece to a mostly-hidden under-cabinet corner. The work was done well and on schedule, and we are so very happy with the new kitchen!
