Using Roia for almost 20 years. Excellent

I had Roia come and look at my washer which was leaking. They were prompt and professional on that service, found the problem charged me $160 and said they had to order part and made appointment to come back the next week. Cool. They never came back and never responded to any of my calls. Never replied over months of trying to reach them. So basically they charged me $160 for a 20 min visit to my house and my washer had to be fixed by another company that also charged me for a service visit!

Do not use this company! Horrible experience from Roia and in reading the reviews, looks like others have had a similar experience. I paid for a service visit and was told certain parts were being ordered and a subsequent visit took place where the technician informed me the cooler was now all set. Come to find out none of the work had been completed. Poor communication and poor quality work. Literally had to call 8-10 times w/multiple messages left before I finally talked to someone who said I'd be receiving a refund which now weeks later still has not come through.

Great service, communication, timeliness and a professional guy was here. It's a little expensive but at the same time coordinating a plumber to do the same work is a hassle and having it all timed out and done before lunchtime was really nice and worth it. (We worked through Gil's for the appliances, and they coordinated with Roia... good experience on both fronts.)

Mike is knowledgeable, effective, efficient and really an appliance wizard. came to fix two appliances and wound up fixing three in under an hour!

Mike Roia came to our house to install a dishwasher that we had purchased from Gil's. The minute he walked in he could tell at a glance whether the machine would fit in the door. This first impression of Mike's expertise was born out for the rest of the day and beyond, as he made adjustments necessary to fit the machine with our plumbing and install a new line, as well as identifying where our previous machine had been leaking. Further, we had a panel that we wanted to put on the front of the machine, but I had not bought a panel ready machine. After looking at the machine, Mike came up with a plan for installing the panel on the machine that we had. He came back on a separate call and installed it, and it looks and works great. This company is highly professional, expert, and reasonably priced. Also, communication with the office about appointments is efficient and pleasant. I highly recommend them!

Mike was great ran early big plus. Polite courteous set about the task and he was gone. Left everything the way he found it. You cant get better than this.

Mike is always professional and an expert in his field. He knows his way around many top name appliance in both their operation and repair and how their warranty programs work. Its always a pleasure working with the Roia team.

Roia Applicane has been awesome used them 3 time for 3 different appliances. They provided excellent advice and repair of my dryer. Saved me from having to buy a new one.

We had Roia work on two refrigerators beginning in May 2023. The first issue (beverage fridge), was diagnosed and repaired promptly. The bigger issue was an inoperable ice-maker on a large fridge. The techs were great and worked with the manufacturer in trying to diagnose. Several parts were replaced and we spent over $600 (so far) trying to fix this issue unsuccessfully . Their last visit was in January 2024 and since then countless texts and voicemails have gone unanswered. We still have no ice. Very poor customer service.

Beware, NOT the same Roia. Have used Roia several times over the past 4 years with good results. This time was TERRIBLE. Quoted about $2k to fix a microwave, wine fridge, and another beverage cooler. Communication was terrible - average response time to call or email was 4 weeks. Claimed they couldn't find the parts or wiring diagram - in a 5 minute phone call to Marvel I had the parts ordered, and the diagram was on the back of the unit (that they'd pulled out). Didn't put anything back properly, and left the microwave in a position that we nearly broke the door trying to get it open. Over 4 months of delays and no communication. Ultimately had to file a chargeback with my credit card and fixed the units myself.

The tech I worked with from Roia was on time, professional and respectful of the property. They were there a day after I called and had the parts in and installed a week later which given supply issues I've experienced with other companies was amazing - I'd highly recommend them.

I’ve used them many times over the last decade. Always fast, honest and reasonable. Could not recommend them more highly.

We think we are lucky to have Mike Roia as our appliance service person - he is so knowledgable and he has created "fixes" for otherwise insoluble appliance problems. And he has a new and delightful assistant Greta who was already able to repair the dish washer on her own. The Roia repair people were timely and easy to work with.
