Reviews of local pros in Coventry, Rhode Island

I could go on forever about how wonderful this company is. Bob and his crew are exactly as their mission statement expresses. Bob went above and beyond to accommodate my needs. I made changes on the day of the work and he had no problem working with me. Logan, Cam and Bill were incredible. Hard working, friendly and respectful. They were kind enough to answer my questions and listen to my chatter. I like to talk lol. This company has state of the art equipment. Bob makes sure his crew has the best protection gear to keep them safe. The best tree company in RI. You will be very happy with their work.

I contacted Bob and he arrived gave me a great quote on removing 5 trees and trimming a large oak that had large branches hanging over my wires. His crew arrived right on time and confirmed all that needed to be done, I must let you know that the three young men were professional and answered any and all of my questions. There work was great and the clean up made the yard look better than before they showed up. Without a doubt I WILL use them anytime I have tree removal or pruning. Can't say enough thank you Bob and your crew!!!!

WOW! Just WOW! If Google had a 10 star rating, that is what I would give Bob and his crew. Absolutely amazing from start to finish. Bob was referred to us because we had an approximately 260 year old enormous widow maker of an Ash tree in our front yard. Huge limbs had already destroyed part of our fence, bent our gutter, and pulverized our mailbox. Bob promptly met with us to assess our situation and immediately recognized the dangers posed by the tree, not only to our 216 year old home, but to anyone driving or even walking by (our road is part of a historic hiking trail). With 99% of the tree already dead, he knew he had to act quickly for everyone's safety. He was able to prioritize us due to the extreme nature of the situation and offered us a very reasonable quote for such a monumental task. His professionalism was evident from the very beginning, as was/is his passion and love for what he does. He not only genuinely cares about his customers, but for the environment as well. Bob and his crew arrived on time and completed the job in less than 5 hours (this includes set-up of equipment, taking down the tree, stacking the tree limbs in a pile for us, AND cleaning up). They worked together like a well-oiled machine, efficiently and seemingly without effort, all while totally enjoying what they do. It was quite a joy to watch them work and an even bigger relief to watch the tree come down safely. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

I hired this company to remove 7 very mature trees from my very small fenced in back yard. Owner Bob and his crew showed up on time on the agreed date. They proceeded to set up and rake down 7 trees and with precision and expertise, avoiding any damage to my fence or surrounding neighbors property. The process only took a little over a day. The cleanup was meticulous as well! Thank you Bob and your crew for a great experience!

Beyond pleased with the work Bob and his team did removing trees on our property. Extremely professional, priced very reasonably. We have a lot more work to do and will absolutely be contacting Bob again!!

After multiple estimates from other companies Bob from American Tree was a breath of fresh air. He actually listened to me, instead of talking at me. We went tree by tree and he marked them and gave me a written estimate. I told him I would be getting other estimates to cross reference and he was absolutely no pressure as far as booking.

He fully communicated every process, and was in touch to keep me in the loop on scheduling.

We had 30+ trees removed around the house and driveway. They were close to the house and with a new paint job coming I wanted to reduce the shade. Most trees were very close to the house. He came a week before and trimmed some trees so the crane could have room to operate. There is no access to my yard so the job had to be completed from the driveway.

The day came and the team worked like a well oiled machine. Chopping started around 8:30. Massive trees were flying over the house, as the kids watched in awe. By 2:30 the trees were stacked in a neat pile and my property was cleaner than when they arrived.

Bob listened, communicated, and perfectly executed the job. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. When the time comes I will be hiring them again.

Awesome experience, from the first phone call until the last handshake.
Nothing beats a small business that actually cares about their clients and their work.
I can't speak highly enough about American Tree Service. If you need tree work, don't hesitate!
Timely, friendly, professional and neat. Wow!

They did a great job. Well organized team and they all knew their role. Very well executed and they left our property clean. It was fun watching as they took some trees over the top of our 2 story house, and they use quality equipment to speed up the process. I gave already recommended American Tree to neighbors. Very professional company. Will use them again in the future.

Bob and his crew did a great job at my property earlier today. They removed a couple of smaller trees and some limbs from a large oak and some overhang from a neighbor’s property. They worked diligently and respectfully and left my property looking better than it was before. I highly recommend them and will use their services in the future.

American Tree Service did an awesome job cutting down a couple of trees in our yard. They were reasonably priced, knowledgeable, professional, quick, and left everything clean. Highly recommend!

We have used American Tree Service a couple of times now and we are very happy with their work. We are keeping the wood from the last tree that they dropped and they stacked the logs and branches separately and neatly. They also were very careful not to damage any of the other shrubs and plants in the vicinity. Bob is very easy to communicate with and he and his workers try very hard to meet all of the customers needs and expectations. We highly recommend American Tree Service!

TOP NOTCH COMPANY,If your looking for any type of tree service from cutting dead trees trimming to keep healthy or stump grinding American is the company you want to call hands down. Bob the owner operator, is hands on knowledgeable honest and a man of his word. He and his crew will give your project the lady and gentlemen treatment. Professionalism in one word describes this company. From quote to clean-up these guys preform as a team as efficient as a fine tuned race car. I couldn't be happier with the experience and I really recommend them on so many levels. Look at the reviews and see theyre signs around, there is a reason theyre highly rated and used.

I’ve hired Bob from American Tree Service twice now for tree cutting and trimming, and I couldn’t be happier with the work. He is very professional, punctual, and incredibly knowledgeable—you can tell he has a true passion for trees. He was able to identify every tree on my property and even gave me great advice for how to care of them. His crew is respectful, hardworking, and meticulous in their work. Everything was done efficiently and with great attention to detail. I will definitely be hiring Bob again in the future and highly recommend American Tree Service.

Excellent work, good price

This company is great! Reasonably priced, considerate of your yard and surrounding live plants/trees, excellent cleanup. I would hire them again for sure!

A huge limb fell in my yard and crushed the fence. Scott and his crew came when they said they would, did a great job removing it and left my yard cleaner than I it. I’ll definitely use him again.

Great quick clean service! Scott is very nice and doesn't waste your time.
After making an appointment with Mikes Trees service twice and him never showing, and then when I called and asked what's going on he answered "Yeah so what!?" Soo I called a few other places who all gave me higher prices and told me I'd have to wait weeks to Months. When I called Scott he came by as soon as he could. Gave me a quote that was the Cheapest, and didn't jurk me around.
He told me he was busy but would get to in in about a week, but wouldn't give me a date and time just yet so I wouldn't be blow off like Others did.
We talked the week after Thanksgiving (about 8 days after he gave me the quote) and he said he would be there Saturday.
Low and behold he was there Saturday, taking down my very tall Pine tree neatly as taking down a tree can be.
He didn't leave tracks on my lawn and was careful not to do so.
Its nice to have some good honest guys out there still. I would recommend him to anyone.

Scott is the kind of guy you wish all small businesses had running them. Pricing is fair and based on hours it takes to do the job. The quote he gave me a month prior to doing the work was $100 lower than what I paid. 4 trees were removed, and a few others trimmed. All logs were piled neatly, and all the brush was cleared away. Kent County Tree came highly recommended by a neighbor, and I now understand why. I'm very happy we found him!

Scott & crew did a fantastic job - trees look great!
Very reasonable pricing & left my property very clean. If you are in need of tree service, give Kent County Tree a call. You will not be disappointed
