Has great products and great prices and an awesome personality period totally willing to work with you on what your needs are. I purchased a few things from him now.

Gives the run around and sells bad dryers. Shouldn’t be in business

Dryer wouldn't turn, had the service guy over took the whole dryer apart and tested all the wires and knew what had happened!! The panel buttons wiring had gotten damage by condensation..he told me it would be cheaper to buy another one..liked that he was honest.

Absolutely amazing service. I had a problem with a coin-operated washer control board. Instead of selling me a new one at a cost of $200 they were able to fix the old one for 50. Huge help I wish I had gone here first. If you need used appliances or service go here.

We just had a great experience with Private Appliance repairing our wine refrigerator. The technician, Neftali was knowledgeable and courteous. The problem was resolved quickly.

These people have helped me out with numerous problems over the years I own rental property and they're very easy to deal with and they try to help you before they try to sell you anything. I purchased used appliances off them and the sales service and delivery is fantastic

Dryer I purchased broke 4 times in 7 months. The first 3 times were in the 6 month warranty period. The 4th time it wasn't covered even though it was the same problem as before. So they don't cover work they did just 2 weeks before, probably because they really don't know how to fix it. The first time they came to fix the dryer I had to wait 10 business days for parts to come in. Horrible dryer, horrible service.

I'm reading the reviews about Private Appliance and I noticed one common thread about most of One and Two star Ratings. Most of "them" ( IE: People) forget what there almost the entire source of their business stems from Damaged & Repaired Products. Whether it be ...slightly damaged, major imperfections, replacements from products Under Warranty, Factory Defects that are Replaced with brand new product's by the manufacturer or products that were damaged in shipment or arrived to the primary retailer with damage or became defective. It's unlawful for the manufacturer to sell Them as new, so they sell them to places like this.
Thats we Visit , Buy, Sell and have repairs done at places like Private Appliance. That's I bought a $2,000 Samsung Smart Oven for $700 dollars...Deli
Now C'MON! We all know and have to assume some of the risk, as we all can't forget... there humans too.
So, if you don't want to take a slight risk or purchase an appliance and items that are not normally within your financial reach, there's usually plenty of options available to pay full price for something you have to accept because you can't afford what you REALLY WANT? So, stay away from "mom and pop" stores and head to The Big Box Stores, where your sure to get what you DON'T want and leave with empty pockets as -
Not professional Was told 4 different delivery times all which were not kept.Alot of excuses and the stove tops do not belong to it & Fred the owner had no proper education of customer service skills. This is the United States. How do u run a business yelling at customers & nit putting them first and treating them correctly??? Terrible do not buy anything from them.

Massive overcharge for base effort on a simple repair, more than the value of the appliance itself. Parts cost roughly $10. Charge was $186. Never was given an estimate before work started. Otherwise would have simply said absolutely not.

Technician very knowledgeable, experienced and took the time to diagnose the problem-I had 2 dishwasher problems and one is a plumbing problem. Very good trouble shooter
Explained everything clearly-very satisfied
Reasonably priced-will defiantly use this company again if needed -
Almost 5 years constant use on all 4 major appliances I bought from Rick. The price was unbelievable and I wasn't ready for Brand new. They're not used appliances THEY ARE ALL RECONDITIONED. Definitely check them out.

Paid $150 for them to come down, look at my dishwasher and tell me whats wrong with it. They told me, if parts were needed, we would have to pay for them, but installation would be included the initial $150 fee. First problem, they could not tell me definitively what needed to be done to repair the dishwasher. 2nd problem, Its a brand new whirlpool dishwasher and they are cant get the 2 parts they say are needed to get the repair under way. $150 wasted.

I got a nice air conditioner at a great price. The staff is very polite and helpful, and can help you figure out the right appliance for your need. Lots of great appliances at very reasonable prices. Everything is clean and well maintained. The shop has a lot of interesting older appliances on display for interest/decor.

Bought appliances there for years. Recently bought a refrigerator and gas stove. The stove was delivered and installed. Come to find out, the stove is gas not propane. Needs a converter kit. After several phone calls, and over a month later a service person shows up. The service person tells me there is a $90.00 service charge as well as another $40.00 for the kit. Never once, was there a service charge mentioned. The original installer told me that they usually have a converter kit with them. A call to the sales manager that I bought the appliances from, did not go to well. He tells me, that I should have known that the stove needed to be propane. He says, what do you expect, we do this for free? I finally ask for the number of the owner(freddy), and this guy says " you know what, I'm all done you" and hangs up on me. I will be contacting the Attorney Generals office for their opinion. Live & learn. You just cant beat Lowe's or Home Depot.
Oh, and by the way. I gave them my original stove that I bought from them that worked fine. My wife just wanted brushed nickel, not white. That didn't make a difference either.
Good luck, NEVER AGAIN for this guy. -
Had purchased here around 5 years ago when they were at the old location the owner was very nice but who ever is running the store(big guy) now isn’t as nice, I went there to get washer and dryer with a budget then when I said I wanted a pair for the amount I had he offer me the oldest machines. Then he left. Like really I’m wasn’t there to get them for free neither ,I was gonna buy but they lost, went somewhere else and found what I was looking for within my budget. Horrible customer service. They treat customer like if you were asking stuff for free....

As a Realtor and a homeowner I have used Private Appliance many times. They are reasonable, professional and prompt. When you purchase from them they deliver and set up the appliances then stand behind them after sale. I highly recommend them to my clients on a regular basis.

My husband went in today looking for a decent used fridge and came home with a beautiful stainless steel double door MAGTAG! Worth every penny and the service was 100%!
Thank you to Rick and his crew. Highly recommend Private Appliance!!
5 STARS in our book -
Poor service lack of customer service and consideration . Waited two weeks for my appliances and never even got a phone call. Left messages and no response so I had to cancel my order and go elsewhere. When I asked why ? They just said I don’t know . Would not recommend.

My father purchased a refrigerator with the agreement they would deliver the new refrigerator and take his old refrigerator down to the basement and they agreed, 1k with cost of new refrigerator and movement of old to the basement. Suddenly they get there at 2:30 with the new refrigerator and then they don’t work past 3 pm and since it was almost 3 it was time for them to go and they will have to come some other day. My father paid cash so of course they conveniently haven’t responded to 4 phone calls already to come and move the old fridge down to the basement. Don’t bother with this place, they decide what service they want to provide and don’t keep their end of the deal, I’m surprised he got the fridge delivered to begin with, I guess we should be grateful we at least for that, not like it’s a paid service or anything, jerks, unprofessional.
