Constraction reviews in Providence, Rhode Island

I've used Hearthstone to have several properties inspected and I highly recommend them. Jared is very knowledgeable professional and took the time to answer all my questions. He is very thorough and is able to point things out and explain what he is seeing during the inspection. Also, booking an appointment on their site was very easy. I highly recommend using Hearthstone if you need a home inspection.

Mark and his team were very professional, efficient, and thorough. They did a great job looking at every aspect of the house. I also enjoyed how technologically advanced they were, with an accessible portal for contacts, payment, and the final report. It was incredibly convenient to access everything and share the report. Lastly, what I enjoyed most was Mark's advice throughout the inspection. As a first-time homeowner with limited knowledge of house maintenance, it was really helpful to get a good base on the basics of home care.

We had an outstanding experience with Jared from Hearthstone for our home inspection! From start to finish, he was extremely thorough, professional, and incredibly helpful. Jared went above and beyond by not only giving us a detailed report but also taking the time to personally walk us through each finding, ensuring we fully understood the condition of the house we were purchasing. His expertise and attention to detail left us feeling confident and well-informed. Highly recommend Hearthstone for anyone looking for a top notch and personable home inspection service!

Jared was phenomenal. We did the homeowner's health check for a house for the new house. He spent over 3 hours going through every nook and cranny. In addition to being very thorough, he was patient with my many questions and will provide references for trusted experts to fix the issues he identified. Will never use another inspection company again. Could not recommend higher.

Jared did a fantastic job explained fully every issue he found big or small. He also had a great personality and easy to talk to. Would highly recommend him.

Mark was fantastic! He walked us through everything in great detail and in a way that was easy to digest/understand the lift required. This was not the first time I’ve done a home inspection and they were noticeably better than my past experiences. I originally found them through a Reddit thread claiming they were the best in the Rhode Island area. They lived up to the hype. 10/10 recommend!

Scheduling was super easy and fast! Jared was extremely thorough and explained every detail/step of the inspection. We couldn’t be happier and would recommend Hearthstone to anyone seeking a home inspection!

Hearthstone conducted a home inspection for me in April 2025. Being new to Rhode Island, there was a lot I didn’t know about state code and regulations. Nor am I that knowledgeable about home repair. Jared was extremely thorough and took his time explaining the issues he found. I came away from the inspection feeling very confident that I understood the condition of my prospective home and the remedies I need to pursue. I strongly recommend Hearthstone for your home inspection needs.

Mark did an outstanding job with our inspection. We were not able to be there so Mark worked with our son who was present for the inspection and provided us with invaluable guidance regarding the condition of the townhouse both through verbal communication with our son and through the written report. Would highly recommend this inspector. If the need arises, we would definitely use him again.

Jared was amazing. He is super thorough and explains everything. He takes his time and I feel extremely comfortable purchasing my new home knowing he inspected it! I would definitely recommend Jared to anyone looking to have a home inspection!

Jared did an amazing job at the home inspection for our new house. He arrived a little early and got right to work. Jared did a great job explaining everything he saw, so that when we received the report there were no surprises. Would highly recommend and would use again if we need to get another home inspection.

Completely satisfied with Mark's home inspection as part of a pending purchase. He was thorough, knowledgable and explained a number of important items to us.

Incredibly honest and helpful. Highly recommend. Mark clements was worth his weight in gold!!

My husband meet Jared and his team at the property we were buying and they were so thorough. We have been through this process of buying a house several times and have never had such a good and informative inspection. The report was also top notch. It was really easy to read through, suggest the information and see the suggestions. We would definitely recommend Hearthstone to anyone.

Overall very smooth process. We used Mark Clements as our building inspector and we was very thorough, he pointed out each and every thing which was helpful, especially as a first time homebuyer.

Very thorough! They took the time also to walk us through each part of the house to explain things that were important to understand. They repeatedly asked if we had questions, and when we did, they took the time to answer carefully. We would highly recommend Hearthstone.

AMAZING company. I would give them 10 stars if I could. Mark Clements is an absolute gem; So, professional, kind and an expert at what he does. The whole crew was great. So glad I chose them to do our home inspection. Love the layout of the reports too. Worth every penny.

The home inspector was very nice and friendly! Jared took his time so we can understand everything! We are hard of hearing! He did a phenomenal job with everything! He was thorough, knowledgeable and explained a number of important things to take care of! We would highly recommend to other people! 🥰👍👍☺️

These guys are awesome. Hands down the best inspection I’ve had. As a home buyer been through 7 or so inspections already(don’t ask why) in the past 3 years and these guys are really the best.

Everything is absolutely 10/10 from coordinating the inspection to the inspection itself. Jared and Ray really made sure that I understood everything and did a through inspection. They clearly explained what’s big deal, what’s not a big deal and what I should be aware of for maintenance. They explained calmly and clearly and they were very patient with all my questions.

Hearthstone also seamlessly coordinated for an electrical inspection which complies with the new RI law that panels have to be inspected by an electrician.

I will be coming back for any future inspections. No question.

The home inspector demonstrated exceptional professionalism, expertise, and attention to detail throughout the entire inspection process. Their evaluation was thorough, methodical, and communicated with a level of clarity and sophistication that set them apart from others we have used in the past. Without question, this was the most comprehensive and impressive inspection experience we have encountered.

Front door installed. Good quality, installation was fast. They did a great job 👍
