I have used Colonial Chem Dry on several occasions; the first time I used them I was looking for a company to clean my carpets due to puppies having accidents on my carpet. My carpet was so clean after they finished you would never no I had pets. I highly recommend Phil for your carpet cleaning. He was very professional, explained exactly what he was going to do, and cost. No pressure just options you had for cleaning. He has cleaned my carpets at least three times and always does a stellar job. I highly recommend this company for your rug cleaning needs, especially if you have pets. Thank you Colonial Chem Dry!!

I hired this company to do a move out cleaning of a home that I rent. What a fabulous job they did! I cannot say enough about Dave, Vinny, Leah and Michelle - they worked tirelessly and left the house in beautiful condition. My tile and carpets looked like brand new. The entire house sparkled and shined. They are the best!!

WORST JOB EVER ONLY GAVE 1 STAR SO I CAN POST THIS REVIEW. This guy can not clean floors!! He left my floors worst off then when he found them. He is also a liar and does not have an ounce of integrity or business ethics. I took him to court over this matter and he lied under oath to the magistrate in order for him to prove his case. If you hire be warned he will rob you blind!!!

Scott was very friendly, cheerful (also talkative) and professional. Showed up on time and was happy to work even on a holiday. Finished fast, job well done, reasonable cost. Will hire again—

The pros:
- Very quick response to my email inquiry regarding a quote for cleaning a combo living/dinning room, hallway, stairwell, two bedrooms, and a sectional.
- My carpets and couch do look very nice

The cons:
- The gentleman who came to my home asked me to verify the work I wanted done. I told him and showed him the areas. After assessing the job, he made a remark about how his brother (who I did not know I was actually talking to in the emails) undercharged me by at least $100. It was insinuated that I may not have been forthcoming in my emails. When I offered to show him the conversation, he declined, saying he believed me. (Sure didn't seem like it). I was uncomfortable and felt as though it wasn't the most professional conversation, but didn't say anything as I read all the great reviews on yelp, google, and his website and I wanted to give him a chance to actually perform the services.

- He used my upstairs bathroom to place his cleaning equipment. That's fine, but he rolled this machine over my brand new bathmats, one of which ultimately become soaked and yellowed-stained. When I asked him what was in the machine, he replied only water. I did tell him about the stains, but he insisted it wasn't his machine. I don't know about anyone else, but in general, I surely don't want a machine that has been in and out of homes to be placed on top of my bathmat where I place my bare feet. So, I had to do laundry. I would've gladly moved the mats, if I was informed beforehand that he needed the space to work. He also used my bathtub to dump the contents of said machine, leaving dirty residue in the tub that I did not notice until after he already left.

- Apparently, he also needed my kitchen sink and moved some pots I had soaking, onto my granite countertops, without my knowledge. Again, if I was informed about the spaces he needed, I would moved those pans away myself, as to prevent water staining on the granite. The kitchen floor was pretty wet with dirty water after the job, so I had to clean that space over again as well. I absolutely understand how jobs done in the home can get messy, but it was disappointing to me how the areas were left after this particular one.

- He, out of nowhere, asked me if I was African "because of my name". That took me by surprise but informed him I was not. I am hoping this was coming from a place of curiosity, but he kept probing me about my ethnic background. When I finally explained that I was of Caribbean decent, but was born and raised in RI, he was like "that's why your English is so good". What? Yeah, not cool on so many levels. The only reason why I did not react the way I normally do when people make such comments, is because I just wanted him to finish the job and go; I did not have the energy to have a conversation about microaggressions.

Again, the actual work done to my carpet and furniture came out nice. I just do not think it was enough for me to want to use this particular company in the future. I was left feeling as though I should've used the company a friend of mine suggested instead. Lesson learned, I suppose. I almost didn't leave a review, but I figured others deserved to know about my experience.

He appears friendly and talkative but he's a shark. I had two small rooms w/furniture. He was so desperate for money he said he'd clean around items but left dirt in the corners that I had to point out. He brought his big machine and used my bathroom to fill his dirty bucket and dump dirty water all while standing on my rugs with his dirty shoes. For a 7 minute job he said 90 bucks. I said you must be kidding. You didn't even do full rooms. He was also very nosy and overall not pleased especially for the price. He is not a true carpet cleaner. I imagine with that big nasty machine pulling in dirt and just replacing water that there are a whole lot of germs. After telling him I wasn't paying 90 he said 80 which is still was too much , but I paid just to get him out. Use the professional in value pak . He overcharged and is underwhelming and clunky. Lesson learned!

Treated home and carpets like his own, took time to speak to client (myself) about expectations and outcomes.

BEWARE!!! I would leave NO STARS if I could! Sorry it has to come to this, but I have no other alternative solution and want to warn others. I hired this local "professional" upholstery cleaner to clean some of our rental inventory and this person totally RUINED A COUCH!! I have acted completely professional and calm, notified this person of their destruction and my dissatisfaction, and only asked for my money to be refunded. They have not responded, returned my calls, or refunded my money for THEIR MISTAKE. The couch is valued at over $800 as is and now the labor associated for me to reupholster it again are upwards of $600 plus the cost of fabric. I simply wanted the $170 refunded - I think that's pretty reasonable considering the destruction of a beautiful antique!!! I understand mistakes happen, however this person has been given the opportunity to take the professional and responsible path, they have chosen not to do so!!! Please be cautious people!

Scott did an amazing job cleaning multiple rugs in our house, as well as a runner up the stairs and on the second floor landing, which had been collecting dust all summer long as we were doing work to the house. He was efficient and thorough. The price was right also. We plan to use him in the near future to clean some upholstery. Great find!

Scott is extremely professional, dedicated and prompt! His rates are reasonable and he worked diligently to restore our dog/kid stained sofa and sectional to pristine condition. This was our second time hiring Scott and we were equally pleased. He left the house spotless! I look forward to taking advantage of the other services he provides.

Scott did a great job with our rugs in our basement. He also did our sectional and ottomans for that room. I can't wait until we can move everything back in the room. We had old cats and you cannot even tell now! Wonderful job and will be using them down the road again if needed. Found the price very reasonable.

For my birthday gift to myself this year I wanted a clean home and to declutter A- LOT. So glad I chose Mint Maintenance because I left them to it and felt lighter upon my return home! I have two toddlers and it’s SO hard to keep up with the day-to-day , so I will be definitely be using this service again!
