Siding Contractor reviews across the US

Recently did a siding replacement project and found GSBG though a vetted app called Thumbtack. They did an excellent job and the value/cost quoted was in line with the 2 other contractors I quoted. I was especially impressed with the communication, speed, and quality of the work. Ben was the project manager and he was very thorough and knowledgeable and frequently in touch with me to let me know the schedule, follow up on questions, and also to ensure everything was done to my satisfaction. I would recommend GSBG to anyone looking to do quality work on their home for a repair/remodel project.

I can't even begin to express how thrilled I am with the remodeling job that Golden State Builders Group did to my bedroom. They truly went above and beyond to create a perfect space for me . The attention to detail and craftsmanship were top-notch. The team was so friendly and professional throughout the entire process. Even my cats are absolutely loving their new room 😁, and I couldn't be happier with the result. I would highly recommend Golden State Builders Group to anyone looking for exceptional remodeling work.

Golden State Builders did great work on our house. Replaced vinyl siding with hardie board and looks great. Very communicative and prompt. Glad to have found a contractor to work with. Looking forward to the next project.

Paz and her team from golden state builders group did absolutely incredible upgrading my home’s siding! The team was professional, detail-oriented, and used top-quality materials. The results are stunning, and they made the entire process smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend!

Thank you to Golden State Builders for doing an incredible job! I had new siding installed and they replaced rotted fascia. They are like a swat team, coming in and doing the work so quickly with such high quality and then cleaning everything up, leaving only the new beautiful workmanship. The team of three guys worked so hard and diligently, from early in the day to evening. I appreciate they were focused on getting the job done so that it could be completed well (ahead of schedule!) and not linger. They also had good attention to detail and expertise. Communications were timely and helpful. Ben checked in frequently to inspect the work and ensured I was completely satisfied. The results exceeded my expectations, I’ll for sure be going to them again for my next house project.

Working with Ben and his team was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. We worked with them to reside and insulate our 120 year old home. The team's attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship transformed our "ugliest house on the block" into a stunning home. Not only did they exceed my expectations, but their professionalism and reliability throughout the entire process made the renovation experience stress-free.

Ben was so responsive and communicative with any and all questions, concerns and feedback we had. He worked efficiently with us on some change orders when we decided we wanted to add additional scope of work. I wholeheartedly recommend this crew to anyone looking for top-notch service and exceptional results with their home project needs. In fact, we are hoping to work with Ben on the next iteration of our home renovation project!

Ben came to us in January as we were thinking of possibly landscaping our backyard (that desperately needed help). Ben was so incredibly patient and presented several options while working within our budget. He followed up with us every month and finally in July we decided to move forward which happened to be the best decision we ever made! We were quoted by 2 other contractors that were literally twice as expensive and practically half the work! He turned our backyard into a paradise that I never thought could look like as it did at completion!! He implemented a vision and brought it to life!! I would highly recommend Golden State for any work needed!! I am one very happy customer! He is a true and real person who I felt like was family!

I am very pleased with the work Golden State Builders did on rebuilding a 40 year old wood deck. The project was done with great skill, and I love the look of the new Trex decking! Project manager Kaleem was very personable and accommodating, and the workers did an excellent job transforming my back yard.

Benjamin Clack came to my home twice in order to get a repair plan that meet my need. After knowing that I do not want a perfect fix, he brought a crew member who actually does deck work to discuss with me about how to repair so that the plan can meet my need and the company's reliability. Ben is very responsive and responsible. He even talked with his boss to use left over lumber in order to save money for me. The quote he gave me is very fair considering Golden State is an legitimate company with license and insurance.

From the initial consultation to the final touches, every step of the process was smooth and efficient. The communication was excellent, and they always kept me informed about the progress of the project.

Not only did they exceed my expectations in terms of craftsmanship, but they also completed the project within the agreed timeframe and budget. The attention to detail was remarkable, and the end result truly transformed my kitchen into a beautiful and functional space.

Golden State Builders (GSB) is the last two estimates we had for the project of replacing a backyard deck. Ari from GSB came to estimate, we were so impressed with his professionalism to write up proposal in a hurry to meet our deadline to make a decision. Later on, they offered 12 months no-interest loan which sealed the deal.

They started and finished the project right on the time frame given. Also, throughout the process, Ari has been so accommodating with our unusual situations. They also set up WhatsApp chat group to keep management, accounting, and job supervisor in the loop. Carmen from accounting has been very helpful to set up financing and Jose and Jonathan (job supervisors) are very detail-oriented to do exactly what we wanted.

In summary, it is a great experience with a reliable and responsive contractor.

recently had the pleasure of working with Golden State Builders Group for my bathroom renovation, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! From start to finish, their team exhibited professionalism, attention to detail, and excellent craftsmanship.

Golden State Builders Group did a phenomenal job installing new siding on my house. From the initial assessment to the final walkthrough the job was done very efficiently and skillfully. Cesar and his crew were real craftsmen. The seams between the siding panels were barely visible, the paint lines were perfect and they painted all of the trim, whether it bordered the new siding or not. They left the site very clean and were done a day early. We are very pleased and will certainly be using GSBG for any future exterior remodeling work.

Highly recommend! This company is the best. They have completed 2 projects at my property. I am very happy with the finished product. They are friendly and professional. Ben, Jose, Zack, Carmen, and the entire crew are excellent. They are skilled, tidy, they work hard and with urgency, and they care.

Paz was a wonderful project manager! When I started the project, not gonna lie, I was dreading dealing with contractors who would act like used car salesmen. But Paz was nothing short of amazing. She came prepared with all the samples, was very organized, and overall so pleasant to work with. The pricing was fair and transparent. And the accounting team was on top of their stuff too.
I also enjoyed working with Jose Canel, who came to do the work and was attentive to details. When we had some scheduling issues due to our HOA, he was flexible and reprioritized the order of the work being done very quickly, so the project continued without significant delays. He also explained stuff very thoroughly and helped us make the best decisions about the paint and the materials. We appreciated his professional opinion that was delivered with utmost customer care.
I would work with this company again!

We are please with our new beautiful deck! Both Ben's, Carmen and Zach were a treat to work with. They handled all of my concerns, and made sure that we were completely satisfied. A wonderful company that we look forward to working with again in the future. Also, a shout out to all of the wonderful workers, especially Jonathan!
