Siding Contractor reviews across the US

We used Modern Construction to change out our pony walls with beautiful black railings and we could not be more happy with the result! Absolutely love how it turned out, Gary communicated throughout the project and we had a smooth process. Thank you Modern!

Gary and his team of workers were delightful. We had James Hardie siding placed on our home. It only took 7 days and we couldn’t be happier. The men were friendly and respectful. We are so excited about this project. Several neighbors have commented on how great it looks. We would hire them again.

We couldn’t be happier with the work Modern Construction completed on our home. From start to finish, their team was professional, reliable, and communicative. They recently completed a major project for us that included new Anlin Windows, James Hardie Siding, Anderson Doors, and a full exterior painting—and everything turned out great!

The team kept us informed every step of the way, ensuring we were always in the loop on progress and any potential changes. What impressed us most was their commitment to quality. They honored the original quote and stuck to the timeline, making sure the work was done right, without cutting corners.

The craftsmanship was top-notch, and you can tell they take pride in their work. We’re so grateful to Gary and his Team at Modern Construction for their exceptional service.

Gary and his team did an amazing job on my house. All the siding looks perfect. Great communication throughout the whole project!

We found Modern randomly online and gave them a call late on a Sunday afternoon. Gary answered and was at our door at 8:00 am the next day. We ultimately went with Modern because of the great price and the customer service. That prompt, professional service was carried on through the entire 3 week project. It included James Hardy siding on 90% of the house, in both lap and Board and Batten for a cool design element. They also replaced 30+ windows. The attention to detail, work ethic (they usually worked 10 hours a day) and great communication made it the very best experience possible. I cannot recommend Modern strongly enough. You will not regret working with them.

Gary and his team are great! Gary is very responsive to all inquiries that we had. His team was very professional and we love the James Hardie siding, Milgard windows, and new front doors!

Gary's team was on time and very professional.

We would recommend Modern Construction Group to anyone who needs new siding and windows!

Gary and his team are awesome, they replaced my sliding patio door with French doors and painted our house. They are very thorough and detailed in their work. Gary ensured that we were completely satisfied with his work. He goes above and beyond with customer service. We are very pleased with his work and highly recommend him.

Requested window replacements for my original windows from the 80’s and also nee front entry and garage entry door and 3 interior doors. 10 windows, a patio slider and 5 doors in total. Gary was very helpful in helping select which windows to install and answered any questions I had. Vadym and his crew were very polite and efficient in their work and were able to complete the windows in one day and the doors in one day as soon as material arrived. I am satisfied with the results.

New Windows, Who Dis?

I was set on getting a specific type of windows, however, after Gary explained the benefits of Anlin windows, I was sold! After our appointment, I was very impressed and excited about the brand of windows he presented.

Gary and his team went above and beyond. He kept me in the loop from when the windows were ordered, to when they would arrive, to scheduling installation. Installation was great. Gary even visited a few times to check in.

You can tell Modern Construction Group takes great pride in their work to get the job done perfectly! Gary and his team treat you like their number 1 customer!

I love my Anlin Windows. They are beautiful and so easy to open! I can't stop looking at them from the outside and even from the inside!

My neighbors are already complimenting me on the windows. I will send anyone who asks to Modern Construction Group.

Gary and his team are outstanding. Responds quickly to inquiries. Punctual. Reliable. Responds quickly to questions and texts. Outstanding work done on our rental property. So great that we want our house done. Thank you Modern Construction! 👏🏻

Modern Construction Group was incredible to work with for replacing all of our windows and some dry rot. Gary walked us through the process and explained everything very well. He was in communication with us regularly and stopped by everyday to check in on the progress of the windows. He even upgraded some items free of charge. We were so happy with MCG that we even had them relocate a fan as well. Can not recommend them enough!

We used Gary and Modern Construction Group for a full bathroom remodel and added a walk in closet and windows in our bedroom. I would highly recommend Modern Construction Group. From start to finish this project was seamless. During the quoting process Gary and Paul were very knowledgeable and suggested different and fresh ideas that we hadn’t really thought of, and we said to ourselves yeah that’s a great idea or suggestion. We got a number of different quotes and hands down Gary and Modern Construction provided the best overall and most comprehensive quote. Gary, Paul and the crew kept the bathroom remodel on schedule, they communicated perfectly to ensure that everything was followed based on the contract. All in all the bathroom remodel turned out absolutely amazing and we love it. When we are ready to do our other bathroom remodel we will be calling Gary and Modern Construction Group.

Modern Construction is without a doubt the most professional home improvement company I’ve had the pleasure of working with. I reached out to Gary looking for new construction Anlin windows. From the outset, Gary was responsive and honest about all aspects of the job. He was able to work within my budget and offered an extremely fair price for both new construction and retrofit installation. The installation team worked incredibly hard and efficiently. They took great care to keep the home clean (like vacuuming while trimming drywall) and paid attention to the little details. After the windows were installed, Gary even sent cleaners for both the inside and outside of the home who spent hours on the job. Gary came by every day to personally check over the progress. His attention to detail is exceptional and he caught and corrected the smallest things that would’ve passed right by me. It’s clear how much pride he takes in the craftsmanship his team provides. I can’t recommend Modern Construction highly enough. They’re a reliable and trustworthy company with incredible results that they'll stand by. I’ll definitely be reaching out for any future projects.

We interviewed many construction and siding companies before choosing Modern Construction Group to replace old vinyl siding with LP engineered wood siding on a modular home. This was a long awaited project for us- we had a certain budget, wanted a turnkey solution, and expected high quality work. Gary and his team delivered. They are very skilled craftsmen and meticulous with their work. We chose Gary for many reasons. To name a few, his proposal was very professional and thorough. Nothing was left out. We never felt like we were “getting the run around.” From the start he was very responsive with his communication, whether it be through phone calls, emails, or text messages. He was never bothered with our questions about the process. Our building presented a few challenges, which Gary gladly took on and came up with solutions that were incorporated into the proposal. Once the project started, we had the peace of mind that we had made the right decision. Throughout the project, Gary went above and beyond with a few items to ensure the long term structural integrity of the siding. The final phase of the project was the painting- Gary’s team did a beautiful job. Finding a contractor these days of Gary’s caliber is like finding a needle in a hay stack. We would highly recommend him.

Gary and his team were total pros start to finish and we couldn’t be happier with the results.

His communication is clear, timely and keeps you informed on the progression of your project.

We updated 12 original windows and a sliding door in our 1957 built home. On two of those windows we opted for picture window style and will say this is a stunning addition to our interior space. Its like the window is now in high definition, sounds corny for sure.

Switching from original windows to these new retro fits makes a huge visual impact you can notice from the curb and we of course are excited to see some energy savings going into the hot season.

Catching the delta breeze will be easy now that all our screens work and the windows open flawlessly.

Huge thank you to the whole team.

Let's talk about Gary and Modern Construction.

He was firm, he was fast and he was fair. I'd say this household is a hard bargain yet he made it happen.

I appreciated that I'd see him daily if any matters need to be discussed. And he would visually inspect the work.

Communication, it's a must... He did well. I know any homeowner wants transparency. I appreciate his clarity.

Meanwhile, the workmanship is excellent. House is certainly next level stand out on the street.

Overall, let's give it up for Gary, Modern and his team. Thanks guys.

We’ve remodeled our house a little bit at a time, so we have worked with a lot of contractors. Communication is not typically their strength, but Gary is super responsive. We had somewhat unique ideas about our siding, and Gary found exactly what we wanted. He and his team were always professional, and did quality work, and they got it done quickly without cutting corners. We are super happy with the results. Even after we paid, Gary sent his team to do final touches, and then Gary came himself. He also had our courtyard fence painted at no cost. I am so happy to not have that summer project! I will also add that he provided the most detailed quote, which I really appreciated. I highly recommend!

We hired Modern Construction Group to remove 2 existing windows and a door and install a new French door where a door did not exist. From beginning to end, Gary was prompt, professional, and had great communication. I especially appreciated that we knew when the subcontractors would arrive and how long to expect them in our house. His team worked quickly and did an excellent job with completion. Gary came to our house each day of the project, which was reassuring to see his presence with his team. The end result is beautiful. We would absolutely hire Modern Construction Group again.

My experience with Gary and his crew replacing my windows, fixing poorly installed windows from years ago, and their care in doing so was superb. The workmen were very careful and worked very hard. I would use the company again and recommend to everyone for quality and professionalism.

We purchased replacement Anlin windows through Modern Construction Group at our home in Sacramento. Windows were beautiful and easy to install. We were impressed with their speed and work ethic.

The experience I had with Modern Construction Group Inc. from start to finish was better than I could have ever imagined. From the first outreach to their return call, answering all my questions (and I had LOTS) to the clean up from the crew, this group was wonderful. Gary is who came out and worked with me from start to finish and he was punctual every time, patient, understanding, and supportive. It’s always nice when these big projects have a supportive person who doesn’t make you feel pressured, rushed, or like you are just the next project on their schedule. He made me feel valued and heard. His team of experts arrived on time daily, did quality work and were respectful. I’d recommend this team to anyone looking to do a small or large project to upgrade or repair their home. Thank you Gary, to you, your company, and team.
