I hired this company for an HVAC inspection on a property we’re purchasing based on their good reviews. They arrived on time, which is the only reason I’m giving one star.
After completing the inspection, I asked the technician to explain their findings so we could quickly discuss any issues. Instead, I was told everything would be in the report and that it would be sent to me shortly. They seemed unwilling to provide any in-person explanation, which was frustrating given that I was right there and have been waiting for a few hours.
When I received the report, I realized it missing repair cost. I asked for repair estimates since they already had the model numbers and details so I can provide the repair cost to the seller, but they refused. Shockingly, they told me that because I’m a potential buyer and not the homeowner, company policy prevents them from providing any accurate cost estimates. This made no sense to me, especially since it was clear from the beginning that this inspection was for a home purchase. Their policy doesn’t make sense and wasn’t communicated beforehand.
They might do great work on other repairs, but I wouldn’t recommend them for HVAC inspections. I paid over $400 and had to hire another company to redo the work—Unfortunately, their policy resulted in a waste of my time and money.

Unfortunately I’m forced to leave a bad review. I don’t like to be a snitch but I have to try and help people in a financial pinch who cannot afford a new Ten thousand dollar AC system, especially when it is unnecessary as in my case. My system uses R22 Freon. This whole HVAC organization down to the secretary or receptionist will tell you that R-22 Freon is quoted “outlawed” and that you have (no options) but to replace the whole AC unit ! This is (not true) R-22 is indeed short supply but (still available) at a premium due to supply and demand. But “come to find out” by honest AC technician, you still have the option to switch your R-22 unit to 407c or 422b which are compatible so called “drop-ins” instead of R-22. This HVAC operation will not tell you this option. This is deceitfulness at its worst. If the business does not apply the “drop-ins” at least inform people of the option instead of insisting you replace the whole AC unit is the solution! People need AC during this awful heat wave. My house got up to 95 degrees while until I located a contractor who had R-22 Freon on his truck. I could have lost my cat with that heat inside the house of 95 degrees! This company is heartless and only cares about its bottom line. The tech from Nascair did not even reconnect the breaker at the AC unit so I could run the AC with low Freon. Unbelievable. The tech was very cordial and military. Good fella just following his orders as x military soldiers do. I respect him. I have spoken with honest HVAC technicians and have learned about the “tricks of the trade” in the HVAC business. They are some humdinger an as bad as the automotive business when it comes to maintenance tricks of the trade. I lost days in sweltering heat getting my AC unit back up and running. I simply needed 3 lbs of R-22 Freon. My AC is freezing, freezing cold now. I paid $200 per LB of R-22 but it beats paying $10.000 for a new unit that was presented as my only option 😡. And remember you can install 407c and 422b as so called “drop-ins”in the industry and pay appropriately $80 per lb. I chose the original R-22 Freon because “I’m old” school and want to run the original manufacturer recommend product. Only by the grace of God could I afford it. Thank you Jesus for getting me through this ordeal. I will never take AC for granted again!
