AC Mechanical installed a Generac generator for us. I highly recommend them. They were always on time, professional and very knowledgeable. They took the time to make sure we understood how to operate the system and are always just a phone call away for any questions that we had.

AC Mechanical sold and installed a whole house Generac generator for me. I worked with the owner "George" and we arrived at a great price, we covered three different sizes. Once I selected what I wanted, his team scheduled an install date. (1 week later). I am a consumate DIYer so it's very hard for me to just watch someone else do the work. The team arrived on time and very professionally put up with all of my questions and unsolicited advice. They answered everything and did a fantastic job. They even had to relocate my main meter. I think his whole team "Jason, Colby, Mr. Ali, Tyler and Keylin all deserve a raise ! Especially for putting up with me ! I am very hard to impress, and they did impress me.

I highly recommened AC Mechanical. George came out and did the quote and answered all my questions. They were very reasonably priced compared to other companies who do Generac Installs. Once I accepted the quote within two weeks they had me scheduled and completed the install in 2 days.

AC Mechanical Contractors installed a whole house generator for our house. I have never seen a group of guys work so hard both independently and together at the same time. They started early and did not stop until they were finished. Outstanding workmanship , kept a clean work area and they were able to answer all of my questions. Being in a wheelchair these guys made sure to keep me informed about things I couldn’t see. I will definitely recommend this company to anyone.

When I contacted AC Mechanical for an estimate for a whole house generator they were out in a few days. Gave me a quote that day. Chose them for the installation. It was scheduled within 2-3 weeks. Great crew for installation; courteous, informative, cleaned up after themselves. When they were done with the installation they checked every appliance in the house that ran on either gas or electric.

I have been looking to put a whole house generator on my home for about 8 years. I had contacted multiple companies for information and all of them seemed sketchy or really expensive. One day I drove by GH hobbies in rock hill, sc to see what their store was all about and see some firearms. To my pleasant surprise I saw that they sold Generac Generators for the whole house, propane or natural gas. I spoke with George the owner of AC Mechanical Construction and asked about timelines for an estimate. within 1 week Ray the electrician/installer came out to my home for the estimate. Ray was very professional and knowledgeable he knew what I would need for a whole house Generac system. I then received an estimate by email from Caitlyn the next morning. While making my decision a couple of days later to go forward or not my (this is true) power went on and off for 15 mins then went off for about 30 mins. Then next morning I signed the contract to get it installed.
It was EXTREMELY EASY to work times and dates for installation the next week. AC Mechanical showed up on time and completed the work as they estimated. That afternoon Caitlyn already had the state inspection lined up. Everything was running so smooth and easy I couldn't believe it. After passing the inspection the same day Tyler from AC Mechanical came out to test and completed the hookup to my home. Everything was smooth UNTIL the oil pressure sensor started leaking during the test. I said to myself "figures it was going too easy". Tyler called and informed Ray etc and let me know they were looking for a new sensor. Later that afternoon I called Caitlyn to see what the time lines were going to be to get a new part she let me know that they were looking as we spoke and she would get back to me soon. The next morning she called and let me know that they didn't have one in stock and it would be 2 weeks to get it from Generac. I was disheartened at this but the next day Ray had found a new sensor that had been moved in their storeroom or on a different truck. Ray came out that morning replaced the part ran another test on the system and I was ready to go.
AC Mechanical Construction employees (family owned and operated which is another reason I went with them) from the first conversation I had with George cared about my needs and timelines, professional, quick, easy to communicate with, knowledgeable, friendly (patient with all of my sometimes repetitive questions). I am very happy with my new Generac system and glad I made the choice to go with AC Mechanical.

Recently used AC Mechanical Construction for a whole house generator system. Received quote that was very fair and came out less than two other bids, the installation then took place the next day with hookup two business days later. Absolutely fantastic! George and his crew were on time, professional, explained everything thoroughly, and most importantly treated us with respect, dignity and had great ethics. Great equipment choice with Generac. I purchased a Generac 26 KW generator and it was installed last week. A crew of 4 installed it 7 hours including wiring and natural gas piping. It passed county inspection a few days later. The next day a technician showed up to start it up and explained everything about the operations of the generator and maintenance needed. I highly recommend AC Mechanical.

My wife and I lived in Florida for more than 25 years and over that time had four standby generators installed after long power disruptions due to hurricanes made them a necessity. We recently moved to a home in South Carolina with a well and septic system, so we felt another generator was required.
Owner of AC Mechanical, George Moore responded quickly to our request for an estimate, he answered all our questions and provided a low turnkey quote unlike other contractors contacted who would have subcontracted the gas connection portion of the work.
George did require a substantial up front deposit, but for us that was offset by a lead time that was shorter than other contractors we contacted. The large crew that arrived on the day of installation was extremely courteous and clearly had the process down to a science. This installation was by far the smoothest of the five generators we have now installed, the entire process was completed in 6 or 7 hours, except for the final gas connection and start-up!
The gas line passed inspection the following day and another smaller crew returned a few days later to make the final gas connection. There was a minor glitch when attempting startup, but George’s son came out quickly and resolved the problem by replacing a part. He did a great job of explaining operation and helping to set up the app for monitoring the generator remotely on our cell phones.
Since this local family-owned business also does electrical, plumbing and AC work I know we will use them in the future after this very satisfactory experience.

Every interaction with AC Mechanical was very good. All my questions about the generator were answered and explained. Schedule fit my needs and they showed up promptly as scheduled. The two young men were hard working and answered any questions I had and some I didn’t. They were a credit to the company.
