We had a great experience working with McCoy Construction and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a high quality new home builder. The craftsmanship throughout our new home is excellent, and the attention to detail really shows. They took the time to make sure everything matched our vision and were responsive whenever we had questions or wanted adjustments.

Both Chads were fantastic to work with. Their experience and knowledge gave us a lot of confidence that things were being done correctly and with long term durability in mind. It is clear they take pride in their work and care about building homes that will last.

We also want to highlight Lindsey in the office, who did an excellent job with communication. She kept us informed throughout the process and was always helpful and timely with responses, which made everything much smoother.

The only downside was that our build took about a month longer than expected due to a Parade of Homes project being prioritized. While the delay was a bit frustrating, the final result was well worth the wait.

Overall, we are very happy with our home and grateful for the quality and professionalism McCoy Construction delivered. We would gladly work with them again.

Very poor communications with customer and never completed the 2 jobs i had scheduled with them.

Called in to get some work done on my bay door..called multiple times and was told I would get a call back never happened..I truly cannot wait until people start getting back into trade work so people like you can't get away with having poor customer service...crazy to me a business like yours survives with your poor excuse of service.

The guy didn't talk to us, had ear bugs in both ears. Was in and out of house doing electrical work to have our dryer hooked up stairs. He didn't even look at what hook up my dryer had and put in wrong hook up. Finally my dryer was moved from basement to main floor and I couldn't have it hooked up because of this . Very disappointed.

Thank you for your company’s quick response with the estimate and for the awesome customer service/workmanship. The electrician arrived on the day the work was scheduled and completed the job in a timely manner. Both are uncommon is todays world, so thank you very much!

I would like to say your employees are disrespectful and unprofessional like I don’t want to also say thank you to your ploys for chipping, my pay and spraying me full of mud on my truck

A year and a half later--multiple issues that have never been addressed--
1)work unfinished
2)bare wires shorting out in junction box
3)circuits that haven't worked correctly since day one
4)overcharged, even though quoted work was never finished
5)zero explanation/notes on what many CATT5 outlets are for
6)poor attitude towards correcting any of these issues

Keep in mind--this was all NEW construction, that was started/almost completed by them. Would NOT recommend, unless you like overpaying for a job not well done, and not completed!!!

I have been using American Electric for about a year now and work is very well done and taken care of some difficult matters for me. Very fair on pricing when compared to the 10 other companies I have tried.
