Tom and Shay make a great team and know how to get down to business. They wasted no time jumping right in and troubleshooting our pool for a leak in the drain return. Had the leak diagnosed and repaired within a couple of hours. Very nice guys that know their stuff. Would highly recommend the Ark Leak Detection team. Professional and courteous from end to end!

We moved into a house with a pool in April of this year. We had no idea what we were doing, so we hired a different pool company to open it for us. This other company did such a terrible job that we lost faith in hiring anyone to help us with our pool. Enter ARK Leak Detection! We had a giant tear in our liner and were losing about 10 inches of water a day. We put a makeshift patch on it (from Lowe's) to slow it down but it didn't stop completely, so we had to call in a professional. We had an appointment with ARK on a Monday, but because we were losing so much water so quickly, they were able to move us up to Friday. This saved us SO much money because I swear our entire pool would've been empty by Monday! On top of the one leak we knew about, they also found and patched two other small holes. Our water hasn't gone down at all since their visit. We are SO grateful for the flexibility and quickness they were able to show us, as well as the quality of the work! I have no doubt they were thorough and truly didn't find any other problems in our pool. They also gave us a recommendation for who could install a new liner for us since ours is old and brittle, which we will be doing in the next couple years. We also found out they do openings and closings, so we have an actual good option for that now instead of the first company we tried. I can't recommend ARK enough!!

They installed a heat pump for our pool. They were always in contact before, during and after the installation. They were prompt and came when they said they would. They were polite and knowledgeable and the heat pump works.

Addendum: After enjoying our heated pool, even into Oct., we called for help closing the pool bc we didn't know how to handle winterizing the heater. Shea came with a helper and they closed it in just a few hours. We appreciate the professionalism, promptness and excellent knowledge Ark Leak Detection shows. Thank you so much!!

The guys opened the pool. Nice guys-on time- very professional. Could not be happier with our first experience. They returned to do a major rebuild of our pump/filter. Again, craftsmen who know the business. They listen to your questions and work to do the job as you would prefer. I was most impressed that they spent the extra time to not only do it right, but to do it "with pride".
"If I am going to build this, I want to be proud of what I have done." Their schedule is pretty full - because they are very good!

Second season using ARK Leak Detection. We looked for a new company after a really bad opening and meh service from the previous one. Very glad we found ARK. The people have been great as well. Very helpful and have been happy to answer my endless stream of question. Definitely recommend them.

The company was great. I called them one week before the July 4th holiday weekend because my heater wasn’t working. They were able to squeeze me in and fix it promptly. The pool technician Shea was fantastic, very professional, and kind.

After 5 years with a leak in my pool that no one could find, it has finally been found by Shea. Thank you and I'm soo excited. Now we can move on to correct the issue and feel like a pool owner is supposed to feel....sheer joy.

Shea and Tom arrived early this morning and did a troubleshoot on my pool heater. Shea knows his stuff and I received a very reasonable repair quote by days end. The crew that came to our house were professionals, was impressed with their knowlege and hard work. They were very thorough and attentive to the smallest details I highly recommend them to you !! I called other places to come fix this leak, one company came tore up the wall dug down 6 ft and said oh there is no leak here, and there will be no charge, I was left with a big hole in the floor and busted up floor. These guys pinpointed the leak and dug down fixed it, pressure tested, filled pool back up and even vaccumed the bottom of the pool. Can't say how happy I am. Jerry Copley

Well. I originally left a good review because they were responsive and took care of business. Arts been Ducking me on some warranty repair he said he would take care of before the close of the season this year. Been trying them for 2 months. Left messages with multiple people. Word is your bond. Looks like they dont want my business anymore. Idk

Shea was great! We have lost tons of water due to a leak around the light. Or so we thought. Shea repaired that and found the liner had come away from the seal under the steps. Almost a 3 foot separation so that’s where the water had been “leaking”. He repaired that and it has held. He also found another leak at main drain that we didn’t know we had. He took care of that today and we are GOOD TO GO for the first swim of the season!! Shea is very friendly and professional and made every attempt to make sure we were taken care of. Appreciate him so much! We will be calling them to close our pool this year. THANKS AGAIN.

Art has been out to open and close our pool. He is always pleasant and professional and we feel he is very trustworthy. Will be having some repairs done next spring when ready to open. Thank you for everything.

These guys always do an amazing job! Fixed a leak and replaced pavers and you can;t even tell they were there excpet the leak is now fixed. They came back later and fixed my water heater and now I get to enjoy a warm pool this weekend and all summer.

Brief Background. Had a custom in-ground spa installed by Outdoor-FX / Pool-FX in Plain City Ohio. Upon "completion" this 3000 gallon spa was losing upwards of 400 gallons+ per week with a cover on. The Construction company (outdoor-FX / Pool-FX) claimed it was evaporation - even after I shared multiple tests and measurements. THEY hired the "franchise" competitors to eventually test for leaks. The Competitor (hired by my construction company) found NO leaks using a Dye test.

I called ARK detection after talking to multiple professionals as well as water and soil experts about water loss.

The Ark Detection team. (Art and Shay) were polite, experts and incredibly helpful.
It wasn't an easy find - and took multiple attempts but they were absolutely committed to finding the leak. And they did. Not one leak - but THREE.
In the side drain, the a bottom drain as well as behind a waterfall feature. The bottom drain being the BIG one. This again is AFTER the pool / Spa construction company had claimed there was NONE and their leak detection hired team said there was none.

Two lessons here.
(1) Do NOT hire my construction company.
(2) Do NOT hire the "other" Leak detection company listed in Columbus Ohio.

Ark has been scheduled several times to re-repair a leak in our skimmer line, and each time they are a NO SHOW! They have also been scheduled several times to replace LED lighting and lighting controller, most of which has been NO SHOW. They were again scheduled to replace lights and controller, and repair our leak on Tuesday of this week between 9am-5pm. They finally came after 6pm, when we were not home. Texted us they were leaving the lights on our back table, (they said we would save $250 if we replaced them ourselves) and said the leak repair was not scheduled. I would never recommend this company to do anything for me. "6 On Your Side" be ready for my call!

I’ve heard great things about this company but nothing to show for it. It’s been over a month since they have serviced the pool and excuses after excuses about why they didn’t show up. The pool has overflowed twice leaving the lawn in disrepair. They were scheduled to come out once a week and have only showed up once in 4 weeks. Stay clear of the company for scheduled Maintence and cleaning!!!!!

ARK completed another project for us. This time they installed a new pool heater. Art visited our site and helped us determine the best location for the heater. He then provided help with sizing the heater and provided cut sheets of the unit we selected. That all went smoothly.
For the installation, Shea and Tom did a great job with adapting the heater to our setup. They suggested an improvement for routing the plumbing that really put the piping out of harms way in our pool house. Shea's craftsmanship of the completed installation is top notch. We're very pleased! Great job ARK!
