Luke and his colleague were excellent. Very knowledgeable and professional. We had a number of mature trees that needed thinning and shaping, and they took care of them with great skill!

The most professional tree service I have used and we have tried other companies in the past. This time we were trying to save a tree and needed cabling and pruning, which a lot of other tree companies do not offer. The estimator showed up on time, was professional, and very quick turn around on the quote, which was not the cheapest, but reasonable, so we decided to do the project. The work was scheduled within a week and the crew was on time, incredibly professional, went above and beyond concerning safety practices, and did an excellent job. A couple of days after the service, I received a follow up call to make sure my wife and I were happy with the work. Needless to say, we were. I would highly recommend this company if you have any tree issues. They are not just tree cutters but true arborists.

Luke and his team are like superheroes. They have some mad skills. SpiderMan’s got nothin’ on these guys. And they are smart, too. Chattanooga’s Bartlett team are arborists, not a bunch of tree hacks. They saved two of my trees that are probably a hundred years old after a storm rolled through. This required dropping my power and fiber lines, which they managed expertly. Then they carefully trimmed my other trees to reduce weight on the supporting limbs and even shaped my Japanese Maple. They cleaned every speck of sawdust and left my property cleaner than when they arrived. Hire them. You won’t regret it!

Really great to work with! I had a couple trees that were dead and dying and some branches over power lines that needed to be trimmed. They were a little pricier than another quote I got, but they have the qualifications and liability to back it up. Jesse quickly turned around a detailed estimate and despite the tough job the crew that came out were fast and efficient. Was really glad I went with them for a complicated job with trees close to the house, rather than some guy with a chainsaw, especially when they said one of the trees was in the top 5 worst he’s ever had to climb!

I was very pleased with Bartlett Tree Experts. They responded within a day of me reaching out, and someone came out to the house the following day for an assessment. I received a formal estimate and they were able to do the work within a week. The gentleman who came to my home was very knowledgeable and explained things clearly. My trees responded immediately after service and are blooming beautifully for spring. Very happy with my experience.

Bartlett trimmed a Japanese maple tree in our landscaping. They did an excellent job of cutting it back and pruning without the tree looking like it had been pruned. They also cut it back from the house. Great job and thanks for the hard work.

I’m so glad we went with Bartlett to remove our storm debris! We had a very large tree fall in our yard and on our fence. Luke came out quickly to assess and the mobilized quickly to cut it down and haul away. They did it all in a day and left it cleaner than when they came! Kat, Jesse and the crew did a great job. Everybody was courteous, friendly and very professional. We were kept informed every step of the way. They asked questions to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. Once they were done with the trimming, they left the area cleaner than when they started.

Called for a evaluation on a tree to be looked at and it was examined and determined it was in good shape. Peace of mind is what I was hoping for and these experts where just the right call.

Can not say enough good things about this company! Needed some help with a sick Ash tree in my front yard. Called there office, told them the problem they scheduled a site visit with an Arborist Representative. All appointment information was emailed to me, Couple of Days later Matt Dowd visited site gave me some info ,recommendations and within 2 hour he emailed me estimate. Emailed him back that I would like to proceed. Few days later Crew showed up very professional knowledgeable and friendly people. Work on tree is beautiful and everything around it looks fantastic. If you want a professional job done at a fair and responsible price Bartlett is the company to call!

We had Bartlett Tree Experts prune two large trees close to our house. Luke and his team did a fantastic job. The pruning looks amazing, they were very thoughtful regarding noise and me working from home while they were there. Will definitely have them back when we need any other tree work done! 1. They Poisoned My Dog

After a treatment, my dog licked the chemicals they left in the yard. When I called immediately to find out what substance he had just ingested, the office staff had no idea. She could not name the product, did not know whether it was toxic, and showed absolutely no urgency. I was told I would have to wait for the technician to get back to the office.

Imagine your pet potentially ingesting something dangerous, and the company responsible cannot be bothered to pick up a phone and find out what they used.

2. Misleading communication that resulted in a surprise $255 bill

Months later, Bartlett reached out to schedule another appointment. I said clearly that I needed an estimate because it might not be in the budget. Instead of giving me the price, I was told only that the service was part of the proposal. Any reasonable person would interpret that as already included in the amount we had previously paid.

At no point did anyone tell me this visit would generate a new invoice.

Only after the service was already performed did a $255 bill show up. When I said I would not pay because the cost was never disclosed, suddenly, Bartlett was able to produce the very estimate I had requested upfront. It was apparently easy to locate once there was a dispute, even though no one could be bothered to send it when I first asked.

3. Hostility instead of accountability

When I raised concerns about the surprise bill and the misleading communication, management became defensive and dismissive. No acknowledgment of the unclear wording, no willingness to meet in the middle, no apology. Just excuses.

Between the chemical exposure, the surprise billing, the refusal to take responsibility, the unwillingness to provide information when asked, and the hostile tone when I questioned their process, this has been the most unprofessional service experience I have had with any home care company.

If you value transparency, communication, or the safety of your pets, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

Luke and his crew were absolutely thorough, reliable and left our property cleaner than when they arrived even with such a large tree to remove and the mess that comes with that. This tree was not our original concern and Luke initially saw that it was struggling a bit, and we planned for “saving the tree”. Then within a few weeks the decline was drastic. Had he not noticed our home most certainly would have been at a great risk of damage. We are so thankful the issue was brought to our attention and we were able to protect our home. BONUS…super entertaining to see these professionals work!
