Predatory sales tactics so you better be prepared to pay 4 times the average price. Quoted at the lowest a 4000 repair and recommended full replacements of everything for 31,000. I had a second and third quote and ended up paying 385 dollars and my furnace was fixed and has been working great for 30 days. What would you rather pay 385 or 31,000?
These guys are crooks and thats being kind!

Well, I called them about 12 o’clock Sunday afternoon and they arrived about 630 that evening. He had to go and get some parts but he came back and fixed it real quick but after he left it busted again but he came right back re-repaired it and we turned the water back on make sure it held and he waited there. He didn’t leave till 11:00 PM, but the job was complete and he finally left. I was happy. I was able to take a shower again after two days.

Our family and I had a sudden power outage and in our time of need, Thomas assisted us as soon as he could. Very detailed work ethic and we had electricity back on that morning. He was very informative on where we needed to be aware of maintenance wise. Would recommend him in the future! Definitely need to look into the FAM plan

Our Choates team was fantastic! They went above and beyond to replace our hvac system. Our house is complicated to say the least but they took it with stride and overcame all the obstacles thrown at them. Great team!

The service technician (Tucker) was great. He arrived early, was friendly and courteous, and explained everything he did as well as work that was not needed. However, when I called to set up the appointment for service I was misled about the cost. I'm not happy about that. Note: This was not Tucker's fault but the fault of the person who booked my appointment.

He thoroughly inspected every part of our air conditioning unit, explaining each step of the process clearly. What truly stood out was his attention to detail and concern for our safety—he pointed out that our electrical panel was outdated and could pose a fire hazard, which we were completely unaware of.

Devin didn’t just speak to me; he made sure to take the time to explain everything to my wife as well, showing great patience and respect. His professionalism, knowledge, and personable approach made us feel confident in our decision, and because of his outstanding presentation, we’ve decided to move forward with purchasing the unit.

Jaden Peden came out to check on our heating system. He was the nicest young man. Very knowledgeable and patient in answering all of our questions. Very professional and polite! Choate’s should be so proud to have him as an employee!

Mr. Baptist was very professional and promptly identified the issue with my unit - both inside and outside. He was neat, wearing shoe covers as he entered my home. When the defective part was identified, he carefully informed me of the part/price then with my approval, replaced the part and finally checked to ensure everything was working properly. Great service!

David Luther was my Heating unit repair man. He was prompt, courteous and very thorough. He walked me through the repair cost options and maintenance plans that would work best for me. I would highly recommend David and Choates.

Outstanding Service and Resolution from Choates
I initially had several issues with my Carrier 2-stage AC unit — including noise, uneven temperature, and concerns about installation. However, Choates went above and beyond to make things right.
After reaching out to the manager, all my concerns were addressed within a week. The company replaced the original unit at no extra cost and even reimbursed the $99 service fee from a prior unresolved visit. Every technician I interacted with was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful.
The manager personally ensured that the matter was handled quickly and thoroughly, exceeding my expectations. The new unit is performing exactly as promised — quiet, efficient, and consistent throughout the house.
I truly appreciate the integrity and responsiveness Choates demonstrated. They turned a frustrating experience into a 5-star one. Highly recommend!

After another successful day on the job, we had a great experience with Mr. Culver and Mr. Alcazar helping us with an electrical installation. They were very understanding of our situation and all around a splendid result. Our family will be in contact again for any future jobs

Called Choate’s about a tankless water heater descaling that the plumber who installed it did not want to do. I got Choate’s number from the manufacturer’s (Rinnai) website as a certified maintenance provider. Chris Allen came and did the work the morning I called. Did an excellent job. Great communicator! Price was as estimated! Super nice. I would trust Chris and Croat’s to do other work!

All 3 technicians were very professional. Had outdoor plumbing problem. Got quick response & service in morning (Ashley), Follow up in afternoon (Tucker), and repair on Monday (Brandon & Timothy). Most highly recommend Choates--they have superb technicians who know what they're doing!

Thomas Chism is an excellent electrician. He installed a ceiling fan and outlets behind my TV. You can’t tell any work has been completed in my home today. You can tell Thomas is very knowledgeable about his craft. And most importantly, he loves what he does and that is shown in his work. The world needs more people like Thomas. Keep up the good work! Dylan was super when he visited our home to fix our boiler. He was polite, nice, very knowledgeable concerning what we needed.
We were glad to have found him and Choates to complete the job.

HVAC Installers were great. Installation was when promised.
I replaced my 25 year old inside HVAC system with Carrier Packaged unit outside. I wish the sales person would have told me how massive the new duct work would be and the 40% more gas usage than the old system.

I was extremely satisfied with the installation of our standby generator by Timothy Culver with Choates HVAC. They arrived on time, were courteous, efficient, and each one explained exactly what they were going to do. Mr. Culver thoroughly explained how to operate the generator. I would highly recommend Choates HVAC for any of your needs.

I am just so happy that I have finally got this issue resolved. Mr. Micheal was very nice and clear about everything that he and the rest of the team did. I’m so grateful, and would highly recommend any of them. Big plus for doing this all in one day as well, I can really feel the difference and no more funny smells or headaches, thanks for all.👍👌

The day I emailed about extending the gas line for a generator or grill, the office called me and Casey was out to the house. He initially quoted the dimensions I wanted and then offered me an better option and for less.

In less than a week, James was out to the house and installed the line with clean work. He also stopped to help my wife dig the gate out of the ice. The follow up was scheduled by the amazing office that day.
