A BRIEF HISTORY BEFORE SAYING HOW GREAT "CHATTANOOGA APPLIANCE DOCTOR" IS:
After the frustration of dealing with "Assurant" for Lowe's extended warranty to repair my Maytag dryer, I called the Chattanooga Appliance Doctor!
Originally, a tech from "US Appliance Repair" in Huntsville, AL, was sent by Assurant for a repair claim in Chattanooga, TN. He arrived 6 hours late (5:00 pm) with a service ticket for a refrigerator, not the dryer. When I learned the tech had been working for 1 month I knew there would be an issue. The dryer had been noisily operating but there was a loud thumping noise in the location of the blower fan I wanted checked. After the dryer was put back together it didn't work. I found a small spring and piece of broken black plastic on the floor and the tech said "that isn't important". After several calls to his supervisor it was determined he'd broken the door switch. Note again: It was operating before he showed up. I was told the part would be ordered and he'd be back the following Tuesday to finish the repair. Skip ahead to Tuesday morning when I called to confirm the appointment and was told there was no service ticket for the dryer and I must call Assurant, who told me I had to speak with Lowe's, who told me I had to speak with Assurant. After 3 hours on the phone I finally got the district manager and the claim was eventually approved. This was 2 weeks without a dryer! I decided dealing with the Huntsville outfit was not going to end well.
After checking the internet and reading reviews I called Mimi at "Chattanooga Appliance Doctor" and got a quick appointment. Bobby showed up on time and I immediately knew there was a professional on site. I stayed with him to see what would happen and as he dismantled the dryer he found screws that had not been replaced, screw sizes in the wrong holes, and on top (stackable dryer) there was a 3/8"" gap between the control panel and top caused by 2 broken clips and misalignment of the panel. After a full inspection he determined it was a broken door switch. The part was ordered and after several days he returned and the dryer was repaired.
It was a totally pleasant experience dealing with this company and especially watching Bobby work. He was courteous, efficient, neat, and obviously experienced with servicing appliances. In the future, with whatever appliance repairs needed, I will definitely call Chattanooga Appliance Doctor!
I definitely recommend anyone else to do the same.
On a side note, the costs for the repair by Appliance Doctor were reasonable and in comparison with the extended warranty + frustration it was a bargain.
If there were 6 stars they'd deserve it.

Bobby was very professional and knowledgeable. He spent time and patience diagnosing the problem and thoroughly explaining it to me. He presented several options for fixing the problem and was helpful at advising best solutions while considering price/cost. I highly recommend!

Absolutely thrilled that Bobby of the Chattanooga Appliance Doctor company was able to quickly diagnosis and repair our 12 year old electric dryer. Bobby went above and beyond, including replacing the drum light bulb and cleaning out the interior of the dryer. He even found a set of earrings and what appears to be a diamond pendant! The whole operation was quick and reasonably priced. Bobby was ahead of schedule for both appointments and cleaned the site super well. We will definitely be returning customers the next time one of our appliances decides to die. Highly recommend this local business, and be sure to ask for Bobby if he’s available!

I highly highly recommend this company. Joe the technician was very prompt on promised arrival, professional, & highly knowledgeable. After several troubleshooting efforts to repair my frig without giving technical jargon or blow smoke, he diagnosed compressor as bad. To top it off, he didn’t charge anything. That’s almost unheard off in the service field. This company is my go to for any future appliance repair. Cannot go wrong calling them!

I called and was able to get a same day appointment. The person was very nice and asked good questions about my dryer issues. My technician Bobby sent a text when he was 20 minutes out as the receptionist said. Bobby was on time, very knowledgeable about my problem and even made some recommendations. He quoted me a price and made good on it. I was very pleased with the service and am switching from another company because I valued the work and the value.

We called all the washer repair companies in town. Appliance Doctor came out that day while the others were scheduling into the next week. The repairman was friendly and knowledgeable. He worked for almost 2 hours into the evening. I doubt most would work after 5pm. The price was reasonable for the work completed. We are very thankful to have had Appliance Doctor!!!

Very grateful for an honest and transparent company! First time using Chattanooga Appliance Doctor and will not be my last. Fairly new washer wasn’t working. Got on the schedule within 24 hours, was given a fair quote quickly, and fixed right after the part came in. Bobby was so informative and even showed us a few things we didn’t know about the washer. My experience has not been great. I have found other appliance repair businesses in the area that have been more reliable and punctual in returning my calls/texts.. Joe did repair one of my fridges and it is working fine now..the cost was more than I felt it should be…

I called about 9:00 a.m. this morning and they had a cancellation and was able to fit me in. I had a dryer that was not getting hot and Joe the technician came out to take a look at it. He was very knowledgeable and very personable but above all very professional. He had it diagnosed quickly and had the part available . We were having an issue with our oven, called for an appointment and was able to get one same day. Bobby who worked on our oven was very knowledgeable and quickly diagnosed the issue.
