Very responsive! They came out and installed a new breaker and ran an underground line to our backyard for a pool. They installed a post with a covered GFI outlet to plug in the pool pump. They completed the job sooner than expected! Professional work at a competitive price. Would definitely use again!

I had an emergency issue with my main breaker box and these guys came out in record time and got me fixed up for a very fair price.

Unresponsive and Negative Customer Service - First American Home Warranty had assigned Advent to handle my request. However, I was never contacted by Advent even after two weeks. Upon calling and inquiring about the situation, I was informed by Maxine that my questions about their process were perceived as rude and condescending. Despite apologizing and seeking clarification, she insisted that I cancel with First American, and then abruptly ended the call.

Advent Electric did a great job replacing our out dated electrical panel. They were prompt, kind and professional. I was very pleased with the work and the price! Would highly recommend.

Kevin, and the whole team who came to work on our project, was great! They came out and gave a thorough estimate of cost, materials and time to complete the project. They exceeded our expectations in every aspect of our project. They installed lights and power in a she shed my wife has. It included trenching, running underground pipe and wire, installing an 8’ grounding rod, running additional circuits to an existing shed as well as putting up all the actual fixtures. They came in on time, under budget and passed the electrical inspection with flying colors. They had great communication as well. We couldn’t have asked for a better team to take care of what we needed. We have already referred them to a friend of ours who needs an electrician and we would not hesitate to do it again!

He also followed up to order and install a fan control that was difficult to find. I would recommend using Advent Electric.

I have used Advent electric on two occasions and have been very satisfied with their work. In addition to performing well, I found them to be dependable (showing up on time and keeping me apprised of estimated arrival), reasonably priced, and honest. Igor example, another company gave me a hefty estimate to upgrade my electrical panel, and Advent gave me an alternative that was half the price.

They saved our house. Recently, we loss power to a couple of lights in one of our room, but couldn't figure out how to get them back on because we couldn't see which switch to reset on the Electric Panel to get the lights to work again. We called Pat Murphy Electric and they sent Devin and John out. They diagnose the problem with faulty wiring on an outside outlet and showed us the BLACKen cover over the outlet. Yikes! Also, a bit before we discovered that the lights didn't work we smelled something "burning" but didn't know where it was coming from, and didn't make a connection to the burnt outlet since we didn't know about it. DO NOT IGNORE BURNING SMELL. Any case, when Devin looked at our original Electric Panel, he pointed out how some of the wiring on it would not meet today's safety codes and how this should be fixed. It really was a mess. After some discussion, we accepted Devin's suggestion to replace the whole Electrical Panel, fix the non-compliant code wiring, and proper labeling for each switch. This was an unexpected expense for us and it wasn't cheap. However, it's better than having our house burn down or worrying about this happening. We scheduled a date and time for Devin and John to come back to do the work. They coordinated the work with the Electric Utility Company. They came back when promised and got the job expertly done - took most of the day. They were professional, courteous, and took their time in explaining things to us. I will not hesitate to recommend Pat Murphy Electrics to others and they will be on our list of approved vendor for any future work. I hope that Pat Murphy will give Devin and John a bonus for representing the company so well. They are trustworty and good men. Thank you for doing such a great job for us. We really appreciate it. Keep up the good work!

Thank heavens for Eric at Pat Murphy Electric! Eric not only showed up on time, but he worked diligently in 12 degree weather to get the job done. He was very thorough to inspect my 40 year old house to give me peace of mind about my recent electric issues. The cost was very reasonable too. Had Joshua come out and put a generator lockout kit on my house, what an amazing experience he answered all my questions showed me how to use the lockout and was very polite and professional I highly recommend this company for your electrical needs. And don’t forget to ask for Joshua!!!
