Absolute 5 star company. David and his crew installed our huge system in a few days with impressive equipment. The app is simple to use once you mess with it a while and it gets fun. We are currently having fun light display wars with all of our Trimlight neighbors during the holidays to see who can come up with the most innovative display. David responded within 24 hours to my call about some lights out and kindly showed me my mistake on the app. The holiday light displays are very fun but we also like the very low white light setting for an ultra soft area light adding a bit of security and ambiance. The more eves you do the more fun you can have. Worth the investment, very satisfied, 10/10

They were fantastic to work with and had great communication from the time we reached out for a quote to the day they came to install. Once the installation was complete, they guided me through downloading the app, connecting to the lights, and how to use the app to customize the light settings. They made sure all of my questions were answered before they left and told me to reach out anytime in the future for questions or issues with the system. East Tennessee Trimlight recently installed my permanent lighting. I was looking into getting Christmas lights put up this year but quickly realized it would be more economical to get permanent lighting. They worked diligently to get my home done in time for Christmas and did so efficiently and very professionally . I’m am very satisfied with the lighting as was my family and our neighbors. The system uses an app and while it is fairly intuitive, I had a few questions. I called David and that afternoon Gabe came by and answered all my questions. I would highly recommend East Tennessee Trimlight!

After nearly falling off my roof a few years ago, I finally decided it was time to look into permanent lighting. After checking reviews, TrimLight quickly became the obvious choice. I reached out to David with East Tennessee TrimLight, and he came out the very next day. By that evening, I already had a quote in hand.
The next hurdle was getting HOA approval, but once I explained that these lights function as security lighting—not just holiday décor—the approval was easy. And honestly, with all the customization options, they do make incredible security lights.
Of course, the holiday options are a huge bonus. These lights are amazing—vivid colors, perfectly programmed holiday presets, and an app that makes scheduling a breeze. Once you set your schedule, you can truly set it and forget it. There are thousands of combinations for colors, brightness, and patterns, and you can even sync the lights to music.
Best of all, they look fantastic. No sagging, no burnt-out bulbs ruining a whole strand—just clean, professional lighting. David and his crew had everything installed in one day, and their workmanship was top-notch. I absolutely love my TrimLights, and the best part is I’ll never need to climb that 26’ ladder again! Just had our trim lights and down lights installed today by East Tennessee Trimlight. David and his team did an awesome job! They are very professional, knowledgeable, friendly and polite. They showed up on time when they said they would be here and thoroughly cleaned up the worksite when they were done. After installation they assisted us with downloading the app, connecting our devices, and setting up our Christmas and security lights. They gave us a brief tutorial of the system, provided us with resource material and websites, and advised we could contact them if we had any questions or issues. We love our lights and would highly recommend this company.

We just had our lights installed in February. They look absolutely amazing. The track system makes the lights blend right in with your eves and no one knows you have lights until you turn them on.

This is a long term investment, we were used to paying $400-$500 a year to have temporary lights put up. Now the lights are up when we want them! We do t have to worry about getting up on ladders.

I highly recommend this company.

We used East Tennessee Trimlight to install permanent lights and we are very pleased! They color matched our soffit perfectly so you cannot tell the lights are there unless you stand directly under them. We love the way they look & glad we never have to stand on a ladder to hangs lights again! We highly recommend them for permanent lights!

I have been researching outdoor lighting for our home for almost a year. Some homes I have seen who had them installed, I wasn't so sure I liked the design, so we decided to hold off. It wasn't until we talked to David at the Home Show in Knoxville, that we changed our mind. David informed us in detail that he could acheive the look we were going for. He explained the product, how it worked, the warranty, how the install would go and was quick to reply with the process going forward.
When the crew arrived at our home, they were professional, courteous, respectful of our property and took time to do the installation properly. My husband & I are extremely happy with our new Trim Lights! The product, itself, is beyond our expectations. They had channels that happen to match our blue trim, almost perfectly. The lights are barely noticeable when not in use, but WOW, are they spectacular when in use! My husband & I are able to control everything with an app. Each light can change colors, and it’s easy to select, and create, new combinations. Of colors, and modes. Colors can even be tweaked to exact shades. We love Christmas lights, but our new home has high peaks, so it would have been difficult, and unnecessarily risky, to have lights every year. Now, all our Griswald dreams are possible! Not only that, EVERY day can be a celebration! We are covered for all holidays, birthdays, game day orange , or even warm, white for every day use. (So much more pleasant than flood lights!) The possibilities are nearly endless! Dave and his team were easy to work with, very kind, professional, and careful, with both our property, and their own safety, which I greatly appreciated! Yes, it’s an investment, but when you calculate the cost, time, and work, to have Christmas lights that need annual replacement, compared to the ease of beauty at our fingertips, all with a lifetime warranty? This project was a no-brainer, and we are delighted with the results! No more January drudgery of removing lights. No more boxes of lights. No more last minute runs to Home Depot & Lowe’s to find specific bulbs, or strings of lights to match last years’ model.

Every aspect of my interaction with East Tennessee Trimlight was perfect! The President, Dave Kilburn, called me just minutes after I submitted my quote request, and he came out for measurements shortly after. The pricing was great, and the customer service was even better. Dave knew that my daughter wanted lights before Halloween if possible, and he made it happen. The materials came in just a week before Halloween, and rain was expected the next week. Dave and his partner sent someone out to do my installation on the Sunday before Halloween! Where do I even begin. Fron start to finish this has been a great experience. The communication, attention to detail, pride in their work, professionalism, cleanup, and the customer service are top notch. You couldn't ask for a nicer bunch of guys! I am still figuring out everything I can do on the app, but it seems very easy to use. They walked me through some of the different options and even programmed some presets in for me. They also explained how to connect my house and pool house (separate boxes), so I don't have to go on each individual location to turn lights on. They provided a surge protector and smart switch for each box as well. I initially took some video the night installation was finished. The company saw the video and didn't like the placement of one of the lights, as they set high standards for themselves, so they came out the next day and fixed it. Bear in mind it was something we noticed but wasn't bothered by, but they just have high standards for themselves. This will forever be one of my favorite home improvement projects!! I highly recommend East TN Trimlight!
