Amazing service! We were blocked in our road by a huge tree, he was able to come out within the hour and cleared it!

We were extremely happy with the service we received by Erik and the guys that came out to complete the work. We had 12 very large bushes we wanted removed, as well as three trees and low branches on another tree. Erik came out quickly to give the estimate and worked through solutions to help us get the work completed within our budget. Erik called KUB to have the utilities marked where they would be grinding the stumps from the bushes, to ensure no utility lines were hit during that process.

Once the utilities were marked, the service was scheduled within one week. The crew showed up on time, Erik walked them through what needed to be done, and they got to work. I was happy to see they were all wearing proper PPE the whole time—it gives a lot of confidence in the company to see safety is a high priority. They were extremely efficient, and it only took them about 3 hours to complete the job, including clean up afterwards.

Dave came this morning right on time to give us a quote to grind two tree stumps. Right before he came, we remembered 3 other tree stumps (smaller) to ask about. He gave us a great price for the 5 stumps, and he performed the work right then and was done within an hour. We highly recommend this company for your tree / stump needs.

Dave’s Tree & Stump service is my go to company for tree trimming and tree removal. I used them a few years ago for a large tree that was struck by lightning. Yesterday, Erik and his team did a fabulous job of cutting and removing a large ailing tree. They also trimmed a 30 + year old tree which now has a pleasing shape and looks more vibrant. They were extremely efficient and cleaned up so well it was hard to tell a tree service was on our property. In the past, the companies I used left chips and debris everywhere. Pricing is very reasonable and they were able to complete the job sooner than expected. I highly recommend Dave’s Tree & Stump Service.

Erik and his crew are the most professional, friendly, honest, and efficient crews I’ve ever worked with. Google needs more stars to give them the right rating! I inherited a lot of trees when I bought my house a few years ago. I wasn’t sure on which ones needed trimmed or cut all the way down. Erik came out and gave honest opinions like if it was his own home - even pointed out a few to just keep an eye on rather than cutting down right now. I had a very reasonable quote and the job started in just a few days of contacting them. Erik always kept me updated on progress and plans. Ran into some issues with the big tree that needed cut down (the trees fault), but Erik and crew were willing to do whatever was needed to get it completed. No need to use those other big name companies when Dave’s Tree and Stump Service does an even better job and very easy to work with! Would HIGHLY recommend to anyone needing some tree services! I used Dave’s company about 5 years ago for a pretty big job and was happy so I called him again when a large oak tree fell in my yard. The root ball was more than 8 feet wide. In addition to removing that tree including the roots, we had them take down two other trees that were leaning toward the house. They also removed a few additional stumps in the yards trimmed up another tree and climbed to remove a large branch that had fallen and got hung up in another tree. I texted Dave late afternoon on the Thursday before Christmas. He came the next morning to give a free quote. His quote was given on the spot and we accepted it. He said they would be there on Monday Dec 23 to get started and would come back the day after Christmas to finish up. That’s exactly what they did. They did everything they said they would and when they said they would do it. The crew was well staffed and skilled. Dave’s son Eric ran the crew. They were polite and professional. They had good equipment and did things the right way. The trees near the house had to be climbed and taken down from the top with ropes to protect the house. It was impressive how quickly and safely they got them out of there. The stump of the larger one was almost 3 feet in diameter. They moved tons of wood and didn’t tear up our yard. Both Dave and Eric are very honest and knowledgeable. Dave even advised against removing another big oak tree we were worried about since he felt it was not a threat to the house. He literally talked himself out of significant money. I’ve used them twice now for fairly big jobs and will call them again when I need some more trees removed. It’s only a matter of time.

We had a large cedar tree that needed to be removed. Dave came right out to give us an estimate. The price was very good and he had good references. They arrived early and did a great job of getting the tree down and removed. They totally cleaned up the yard when they were done. They were also dressed and equipped for safety. We had a Bradford Pear tree in our yard that split and part fell on our neighbors fence. Thankfully there was no significant damage. We called and Erik came out, gave us an estimate to remove the fallen section and all of the remaining tree before it fell on our other neighbors property, which would have destroyed their fence, above ground pool, and possibly deck! Erik and his crew were able to come the next day. They removed the tree carefully (it was in a tight corner of the back yard), without damage to anything, no one was hurt, they wore proper safety equiment, were friendly and professional, removed all the tree and debris, cleaned everything up and ground the stump the next day. I'm very pleased with the service, results and great price.

New homeowner in the Knoxville area. Dave and his son and crew did a bang up job on a lot of large trees that hadn't seen a lot of love in years. Priced very fair and everything landed where it should. They even cleaned up the place and left it better than when they found it. I'll have these guys back - they earned my repeat business.

We noticed several poplar trees leaning towards the house that worsened with the recent heavy rains. Contacted Dave’s on their website on Saturday evening for an estimate. Erik came by early Monday morning and adjusted their schedule to get the trees down today to protect the house. Professional, courteous and a fair price! They did an incrrdible job, removing my beloved Bradford Pear Tree. They also trimmed my trees away from my home (insurance request). They removed overgrowth and made my home look new again. Oh, I had them remove stumps, put in topsoil… and plant Azaleas.

I had a small job and a lot of people don't like doing small jobs. But they did it anyway and for almost half the charge I was given an estimates by other companies. They will also quick to work me into their schedule and get it taken care of. I can guarantee I will use them again if I need their services

I had a large hickory tree that started showing signs of stress and needed to be taken down. It was about a foot from a fence and 15 feet from the house. Very tight space. Erik and his crew did a great job getting it down safely.

They did an excellent job despite fighting bad weather the hole time. They cut down 20 plus trees and did very minimal damage to my yard. They weren't the cheapest and they were not the most expensive but still reasonable. Some of these trees were almost 100 feet tall and they got them down without damaging power lines and my yard.
