Johnny at Hancock Tree Services guided his crew through a very difficult removal of 3 huge trees. Due to size and location of trees near our house and neighbors, we were concerned about possible damage. We were impressed with the quality of care that we saw. Nothing was damaged. The crew was punctual, courteous, and efficient. Amazing teamwork. Very customer service oriented and Johnny checked back later to make sure everything was done to our satisfaction. We will definitely call Hancock Tree Services for any future needs!

Hancock’s teams were (as were all tree services) swamped after the August 2023 tornado; but they still managed to come by the next day and cut the tree limbs off the roof and away from the house and get us out of immediate danger. Then they came back a couple weeks later to do some more cleanup and cut up all the wood for firewood. We asked them back a few months later to prune huge Crepe Myrtles and more tree cleanup. Hancock’s provides professional service from the estimate through the finished product and to our specifications. The guys are always conscientious, kind and friendly and fast!

Hancock Tree Service is hands down the best in the area. These guys showed up within an hour of a Tornado that hit our neighborhood pretty bad. They were professional and honest. They provided same day services to clear our driveway as our cars were under trees or blocked in the garage, and a crane to haul half a large oak off our roof. In the spirt of TN VOLUNTEERS John even had his crew helping to clear our main road as it too was covered in downed trees. Would do business again but I'll pass on the Tornados.

Hancock tree service did an exceptional job cutting down huge trees right next to my home. They cleaned up beautifully afterwards and ground the stumps down. Quick efficient and courteous employees! Would definitely recommend them to anyone.... the price was good and the work was excellent

Hancocks tree service does great work, they provide fair, reasonable pricing, and were very flexible to my needs. As if that weren’t enough, they were all articulate and kind gentlemen. I highly recommend them, and wish I rate them higher than 5 stars!

EXCELLENT customer service!! Big shout out to Matt, certified arborist, who came out very quickly to look at work being requested. Provided very fair estimate and scheduled the work within a few days.
The guys were there promptly this morning and did a fantastic job topping 2 large trees and shaping the sides....

Great experiences with everyone at Hancock from the initial call, the arborist, the scheduler and the 5 man crew that did the work. Rick was the only name I remember from the crew. One part of the job was removing a HUGE limb with some dead branches over the house from a VERY LARGE silver maple tree that essentially had split into 4 trees. The tree was SOOO close to the house. Great job, great cleanup and everyone on the crew was great, too.

Hancock employees the most professional, kind, and helpful people. They know what they're doing and they have competitive pricing. I've used these guys on 3 occasions and they go above and beyond. I will never use any one else for any tree service because of how awesome Hancock is. Don't think twice, just use these guys and they will treat you like family.

My neighbors were having some work done but I was able to talk to Mike about getting a stump out and they took care of it for me same day! Nate got the stump out and made sure to keep everything clean afterwards. Both were very nice and we will definitely reach back out for any future tree needs🌳

Professional team that brought down four trees in close vicinity to buildings and power lines. They all worked together like a well-oiled machine which really sped up the process.
Regarding cost, I got quotes in from somewhere in the order of 10-15 companies. Hancock was both the most budget while also being the most accommodating for special requests.

I would definitely recommend them highly. They did exactly what was discussed and did it fast. Tree services aren't cheap, but Hancock is better priced than the other alternatives.

So I needed a new tree service and these guys popped up as a recommended provider for the Powell area. Just going by reviews ,I decided to let them give me a quote. Matt, they're arborist, showed up the next day and we discussed what needed to be done. He gave me a very fair quote so I just decided to go ahead and let them have the job. The next morning they called and had an opening so I told them to go ahead and do the work. They showed up when they said they would and within an hour and a half they had the job finished and cleaned up. I was very impressed with the whole crew and the work they did. I will definitely use them again and would refer them to anyone I know. Thank you guys

I had a maple tree with a big branch hanging over our home by our bedroom. Made me nervous on really windy days. These guys were in my neighborhood and I witnessed them carefully and quicky cut down a huge tree so i asked for a quote. I went back and forth about taking just a branch or 2 or the whole tree, but for the price and peace of mind, we decided on the whole thing. I got a quote from.others but these guys were the most reasonable, and really took the time to see what was needed. They came today, did a great job, cleaned up, even took some extra little brush and tiny branches I piled by the driveway. Their chipper made quick work of it. They hauled off the whole tree too, heavy chunks, but left me few I requested to use as stools. He did point out how the branch i was worried about was actually rotting inside, from a hole water was getting into that he pointed out initially. It was only a matter of time so very glad we did it. Highly recommend for trims to whole trees. Big thing down in like 6 hours, including their lunch break. Thanks again!

I’ve used Lorenzo’s multiple times. Excellent pricing, professional, friendly, courteous. I got an estimate within a day of calling and they were able to start the work within a couple days after I approved the estimate. They cleaned up after themselves and left my yard looking great. I highly recommend!

Did a great job. Came out on a Sunday afternoon to assess a job after a tree fell on our house during a storm. Workers were friendly and professional appearance. Did the job safely and without causing any additional damage to the house. Cleaned up the yard, roof, etc when they were done. Very happy with their work.

Great, company with integrity. Dave’s crew did a nice job pruning some dead branches off my mulberry tree. They even came back a few weeks later and repositioned the wood pile because it kept getting missed for pickup.
