I met Travis driving home as we was handing out business cards. Glad I did! Not only affordable but on time, great work and there was one thing that was missed and he sent a guy about an hour after I informed him to do it. 100% recommend.

I can’t believe the professionalism this company showed. I had 5 trees that needed to come down with 3 around fence and my neighbors fence. Not one log hit them. They hauled all the wood I asked them to take and made sure what was left was in a nice pile. I had been concerned about a tree that about to completely rip over. This tree was large enough to fit my family where they sleep at night. They safely brought the tree down and did not compromise any tree around. What a feat! The price was perfect and I know that his employees are very well taken care of! All of the work was done in one day and I couldn’t be happier!

Hired L&M to remove six trees and severely prune five others. They did an amazing job with cleanup and with taking care of the property so that there was minimal damage. The price was phenomenal so they were hired immediately. Anything else that I need done I will surely hire them again. And the guys were amazing.

During a recent storm, I had a large red oak in my front yard split and fall directly onto the roof of my home. I asked my insurance adjuster for recommendations on tree removal, and he said the only crew he'd recommend was Hancock Tree Service. It ended up being a fantastic recommendation, not only because they worked super well with my insurance (and therefore made what could have been a really miserable claim process easy), but also because they did a great job. A Hancock employee named Matt came literally hours after the storm, in the evening, to survey the damage and determine what would be needed. There was no charge for this. Matt is also a botanist, and I appreciated his professionalism but also enjoyed his geeking out over the trees in the neighborhood. Then, a crew of ~4 workers supervised by a really great employee named Johnny arrived at exactly 8:00am as scheduled *the next morning.* Johnny was so nice, communicative, professional, and apologetic about my losing the beautiful tree. They worked non-stop for nearly 6 hours to remove the portion that had fallen on the house and then cut down what remained of the now-hazardous tree. They brought a crane in order to lift the big limb off of the roof and over power lines and other trees. I was concerned that the removal itself may cause damage, but there were no issues with that at all. It was pretty amazing to watch, and they did an excellent job. They trimmed away all damaged and hanging limbs, removed all the debris, and leaf-blew the yard and roof, leaving it looking frankly better than it did prior to the storm. And they even respectfully fended off a rude neighbor who gave them an ear-full about briefly blocking the road (which was, by the way, necessary, brief, and communicated beforehand). The premium charged for emergency service was reasonable given that I'm sure their schedule was crazy after that storm. I know they had to postpone other jobs, which I'm sure is a huge administrative hassle, too. I will absolutely use them again in the future, but hopefully not for a tree on the house. Thanks very much to Johnny, Matt, and crew. I rarely leave reviews but wanted to be sure to give these guys a bump, 'cause they definitely deserve it. 10/10 would recommend.

Matt & Johnny have always been a pleasure to work with. Their team at Hancock expertly and quickly took down a 75' hemlock in my backyard that had been split by lightening. Due to the heavy damage it took, it could not be safely climbed so they had to bring in their boom truck. Despite having to work over a children's play tower and beside a 50+ year old giant Magnolia tree, they caused zero damage. Highly recommend these folks!

Hancock Tree Service is the BEST! They took down six 30+' Leland Cypress trees within 25' of our house in just a few hours. Fantastic!

I highly recommend these guys. They came in and removed a large pine for me and did a great job. Very professional and neat. They showed up as they promised at a set time and knocked it out. We will be using them again on some of my customers jobs.

I had 2 dead/dying trees that need to come down and 2 others that needed topped. Matt came out the day after I called and gave a reasonable quote. The crew was able to do the work a week earlier than originally scheduled and did a great job!
The entire process was no pressure, and there were no surprise last minute add-ons or upsells - the quoted price was the final price. I will definitely use Hancock tree service in the future and would highly recommend them to anyone.

I would give this tree company 10 stars if possible!!! From start to finish everything went super smooth and great. The men that came out did top tier work and they worked so hard and were fast as well as efficient!! Very friendly and nice. Matt was great to coordinate our project with too and had great communication. Any and all future tree work will hands down be with this company!

When a very large oak tree fell on my home, the Hancock crew promptly responded to use a crane to remove the tree and haul off all the debris. From my initial contact with the company, to the final cleanup they were very professional. I would definitely recommend them if you need a company that knows what they are doing.

I cannot say enough about how professional all the guys from Hancock Tree Service truly are. From the office, to sales and the crew that came out to take down my silver maple. Matt, who came out to give me the quote was 100% professional and so personable. The quotes I had received were all about the same, but I chose Hancock Tree Service because of how Matt treated me. Then, Mike and the crew that came to take the tree down…. Wow, fantastic work, cleaned up to where it doesn’t even look like they were in my yard and they did it so quickly! Johnny and Matt did a great job coordinating the project. The crew came out on time and completed the entire project to my expectations.

Thomas, the manager on site, made sure to come consult me each time they were moving to another component of the job to ensure I was ok with what they were going to complete. The crew even ensured the debris was cleaned up after their job was done. I have nothing but good things to say about the service, and the price was very competitive. Highly recommend.

We were very pleased with the professional team that removed 2 large Juniper trees in our back yard. One was directly behind a 8x16 foot utility building and the other tree was about 15 yards from the building. The team expertly remove these very large trees. Cleanup and removal was performed and completed in accordance with the terms of the contract. We would recommend this company for any tree service. Thank you gentlemen ! An outstanding tree service that came to the job with the proper equipment and manpower to get the job done promptly and at the right price! Had to use neighbors yard to remove our tree over our new fence and completed the job without damage to anything. Even left neighbors yard clean and a happy neighbor... Thank you for your service

Look.... If you want professional tree service with top-notch professional equipment, you call these guys. This isn't your average one-man tree company that brings his girlfriend to your house and climbs the tree with a cigarette in one hand and a red bull in the other. No...... Hancock's has a NICE crane, and a nice bucket truck, and hardworking employees, and the owner KNOWS his stuff. Within 24 hours of a BIG tree falling on my house, and within six hours of their estimator looking at the tree, the entire tree was down. From between two houses. Above a car. They were great. Courteous. Professional. Careful. Knowledgeable.

Seriously.... You won't find better. Give these guys a call if you care about your property. If you read my reviews, you know I don't pull my punches and I tell it like it is. This company is the real deal, and I'm very pleased with their work and will use them in the future.

Hancock Tree Service respond quickly after the recent storms to remove a downed tree from our roof. As always, the team was professional, exacting, and thorough. And Benjamin, the foreman, was informative, deliberate, an overall amazing "tree surgeon!"

John and his crew are wonderful. They came at 1:00am after a storm, worked till tree was out of our workshop. Then came back to clean up 3 trees that fell. They are very professional and we highly recommend them.

I can't say enough good things about this company. They took out a very difficult huge tree running over 2 yards and power lines. Everything from the first quote from Matt to the actual work by Johnny and the crew was done in such a professional manor. They had great communication skills and polite manners...which is so rare these days! A+

I had two very tall trees removed and several trimmed. The crew was really amazing. They knew exactly what to do, worked carefully in 90-degree weather, cleaned up afterward. Very best tree service I’ve ever used. A fair price, good advice from the arborist, and courteous, efficient crew. I highly recommend them.
