Molly maids came to my home on 10/3/2024 Heather and Garcia to clean and they did a great job I am grateful for the job they did. they cleaned like my house was theirs and I couldn't be more pleased. I'm getting ready for the holidays. thanks Molly maids.

This was my first experience with Molly Maid and I really didn't know what to expect. Team 7 (Laterica & Shawna) were wonderful. They came in very professional and cleaned my 2 story home spotless. My husband came home & was impressed on the great job they did even cleaning the high ceiling fan blades. I would recommend them and can't wait to see them again next month..

Molly Maid cleaners are great. I have a team lead (Ms Jasmin) I can expect to be here every time, so she knows what needs to be done, saving me time vs if I had a new person each time. They are very thorough and responsive to special requests. The house smells wonderful after they are here. My neighbor always notices. Thanks for removing a chore that needs to be done on top of everything else.

Summary: Got a written estimate for ~$600–$760, was charged $1,800 instead. Attempts to resolve it have gone nowhere.

In February, we had an estimator from Molly Maid walk through our home and give us a quote. We asked for a written estimate to confirm services and cost, and she sent one specific to our address: About $600–$760 for exactly what we requested.

We moved forward because that price seemed reasonable. The cleaning team itself was polite (this isn’t about them), though a few promised spots were missed. The real issue came later when we were charged $1,800. Assuming it was a mistake, we contacted the estimator. Instead of addressing the discrepancy, she responded unprofessionally and condescendingly, claimed we’d agreed to a “deep cleaning,” and dismissed the written estimate as “auto-generated”, even though it matched our request and home details exactly. She also overestimated our home’s square footage despite us providing the correct number.

When we reached out to the business for help, they sent us back to her each time. I even tried calling the numbers they post here for unhappy customers; most went unanswered. The one time I reached someone (in May), I was told a supervisor would call me back. No one ever did.

Seeing similar complaints from other customers about overcharging and lack of follow-up, it’s hard not to feel this is a pattern the company is ignoring rather than fixing.

Would have appreciated better communication and service from this company. Even though they knew the square footage of our home, only 2 people showed up and the home still had areas that looked untouched. For what they charged for a move in cleaning, there was an expectation for cleanliness and customer satisfaction. After coming back to our home, and finding the floors barely touched and the blinds were just turned in the other direction to give the illusion of being cleaned, I can understand the reason other gave poor reviews.

On top of all that they charged us for the cleaning and have now gone silent after complaining about the lack of cleaned areas. They pretended to care by asking for pictures but there is no way to see the dust and dirt on the floors from photos. I definitely would not recommend this company to anyone.

Also still haven’t heard back from the “ manager review “.

I had a fantastic experience with Molly Maids! Hunter was great at getting everything set up as a new customer—very communicative and thorough in answering all my questions. Courtney came out to provide an estimate and was incredibly professional. She made sure to address any special needs I had and ensured I was completely informed about the process. I look forward to a long and positive relationship with this team. Excellent communication skills all around! Highly recommend!

We had a deep clean done by Molly Maids. We have three young children and two big dogs so this was a big job! The ladies came and were very polite and direct on what they were doing. I work from home and they were exceptionally respectful and accommodating. They did a fantastic job and I had an amazing experience with them! We signed up for regular cleanings because of the quality of work done! Highly recommend team #7!

Molly Maid Tipton came out and did a great job! Breanna, Candi, and Kaitlyn W were professional, quick, and efficient!!

Team 2 with Molly Maid is absolutely amazing! I have three dogs, so keeping the house clean can be a real challenge — this was my first cleaning and it looks and smells fantastic. They were thorough, respectful, and incredibly kind to both me and my pups. I appreciate how detail-oriented they are! It’s such a relief to have a team I can trust. Highly recommend!

If you expect your house clean when they leave, hire a different cleaning service. I’m all about giving credit where it’s due, so two stars - first for the cleanliness of the bathrooms and second for the kitchen. HOWEVER, the basics of vacuuming, mopping, and dusting were skipped right over. When I came back to the house, I had to spend my time and products vacuuming and dusting!! It’s like they didn’t even do it at all! $304 for clean bathrooms and a wiped down kitchen-NO THANKS!

Team 15 was great. They really handled every detail on my list. They were so courteous and professional! I am definitely bringing them back again!!

Molly Maid Team #2 came to our house on time and was very friendly. Both ladies was very pleasant to work with. They did a very good job doing a Spring Cleaning on our 2 story house. We will definitely call them next time to clean our house. Very Pleased!!

UPDATE 10/28/25: It's been two weeks since MM replied to this review, and they STILL haven't contacted me. This is further proof that this is not a company to use or support.

I've been using a different cleaning company for my spring/fall cleanings the the last few years, and decided to try Molly Maid's standard cleaning on a whim. BIG mistake.

When I was re-confirming the appointment details over the phone, the employee told me that "the cleaning should take 3-4 hours, which will be $450-$600 based on their hourly rates." The cleaning day comes, the employees arrive at 12:54pm and leave at 2:52pm - almost 2 hours on the dot. The women did a good enough job, but it was nothing to write home about. Some things were cleaned wonderfully, and others were handled very carelessly (I'll get to that part in a second).

Two days later, I see I have a charge from Molly Maid for $504. I'm still confused to this day. Based on the information given, the hourly rate seems to be $150/hr, which would put my total around $300 for the 2 hours of work they did. ~$150/hr also aligns with what I've paid other companies. I have since tried calling Molly Maid MULTIPLE times, left voicemails explaining my confusion, and even texted their support phone number. It has been TWO WEEKS, and nobody has returned my calls. Initially I was just hoping to get clarity on my bill, but after dealing with the aftermath of the cleaning and then being ignored for TWO WEEKS, I want both a refund and an apology for this entire experience.

Remember when I said certain parts of the cleaning were handled very carelessly? Let me get into that now:

PRETTY CARELESS
1. Our mirrors and kitchen island looked like they'd been cleaned with greasy rags.
2. Some surfaces had only been partially polished, there was still dust and dog hair in the untouched areas.
3. Random items were all out of place (ie. a plant stand was moved to a different corner, desk items placed messily, etc.)

VERY CARELESS
1. One of our blind wands ended up broken off from the window somehow - we were not notified of this, they just left the wand on the table for us to find later.
2. I have two assembled Lego sets, and one of them is missing a key piece and some other pieces were knocked out of place. I've checked the surrounding area and still can't find the one piece. Not sure if they ended up in the trash or if someone took them, who's to say.

WILDLY CARELESS
Somehow, someone opened the pilot of our gas fireplace. My husband and I noticed a weird smell downstairs after the cleaners left, so we assumed it was the smell of the cleaning products and figured it would go away in a day or two. Four days later, the smell is still there - just as strong as it was initially. My mom happened to visit and the first thing she says is "it kind of smells like natural gas, huh...?"

My husband and I realized that she's right, but we were still confused. Our attic furnace was fine, and we hadn't touched our fireplaces since we bought the house years ago. We became more concerned and decided to call MLGW's emergency line to check for a gas leak. Sure enough, 30 minutes later, MLGW is at our house telling us that yes, we do indeed have a gas leak coming from our fireplace. It seems one of the employees must have turned the pilot key when cleaning, and gas had been flooding our house for several days.

While I'm sure this was an honest mistake, accident or not, my family could have died as a result of this kind of negligence. I'll definitely be sticking with my original cleaning company - they're better, cheaper, and safer it seems.

Everything was spotless and nice. They especially got all the dog fur from everywhere! The doggie room looks like it was cleaned for human habitation:-) . This was a deep clean so they were here several hours scrubbing, mopping vacuuming, and dusting. The ladies were respectful, professional and asked me to review their clean.:-) I would choose this team, team seven and this company again.

The girls were awesome ! I could not have asked for more caring and meticulous people, although they spoke very little English and I speak no Spanish. This made it very hard to communicate at times. I had the deep cleaning service done since it was my first time. Summer also did a fantastic job with my request and it was a real pleasure to work with her. I have attached 2 photos and wondered why these items were not cleaned. They are very easy to reach. All the ceiling fans were cleaned but not the light over the kitchen table. I also had to go through my trash to locate a few missing items, such as the instructions to my toaster oven. All in all I would give them a 10 and plan on using this company again. This ended up being a 6 hour job. I wish they could have sent 3 girls 😀

Brandie and Roxana did an amazingly fantastic job deep cleaning my house. Thank you so much! Super looking forward to having this team come back soon.

Jasmin and Becky, for me, were the best, most detailed crew that has cleaned our home. Definitely would like for them to return each appointment to do our home.
