Everything about my experience was outstanding. The customer service I received from Phillip was as good as I have seen. He went above and beyond in solving my issue with my Pond. I highly recommend them.

Hunter came out today to get my pond ready to enjoy this spring and summer. He is very professional and friendly. This is my second year having him out and he has done an excellent job both years! He doesn’t mind me watching the process or asking question. My fish are happy and my pond is beautiful!

Hunter and Brian with Midsouth Ponds have been cleaning my pond this afternoon. They have done an excellent job! Hunter explained everything as they were cleaning and even gave me some helpful tips. My pond looks great!! I would highly recommend them! I really love how clean it is now and my Koi’s seem to love it too!!

Hunter and Eli did a fantastic job taking care of my fish when transferring them to the holding tank prior to my pond cleaning. I have throughly enjoyed seeing the bottom of my pond again and seeing my fish. Wish I’d heard of Midsouth Ponds a long time ago. Getting information about the process and scheduling was easy. Thank you Teffenee!

I want to compliment the company for doing a good job cleaning my pond which they built two years ago. They are very gentle with my fish and took good care with them. They did not seem to be stressed. They are respectful of not only my fish but my property. It looks beautiful. I highly recommend MidSouth Ponds. Thank you MidSouth Ponds.

High price and poor quality product. Had a pond fountain installed. The price was very high for the product installed. The lights went out which was on warranty. It took them months with about 3 missed appointments to replace. No call, no show, no communication. They finally replaced the lights after about 5 months of no shows.

This is our second experience with mid-south ponds and they are the best in the business. Very easy to work with and squeezed us in when they were booked up. They are professional but also a family owned business who cares about their customers. We will continue to use them and recommend them to anyone who needs their pond cleaned.

They came out and replaced my old pond liner with a new one. They reshaped my pond a little, cleaned up the ledges and built a new waterfall and installed all new equipment. My old pond was 20 years old. It looks fantastic and they were very friendly and great to work with.

Today was a great day! After much thought I decided to hire Midsouth Ponds to install a small backyard pond in my garden.
The men arrived on time and went quickly to work. They each had their expertise to contribute to the project. I wanted to use field stone since I have plant beds with field stone—no problem. At the end they explained how to care for the pond. And I feel certain if I need their assistance in the future with pond maintenance, they will respond in a timely fashion.
If you are considering installing a pond, go for it! Support this small family business and get personalized service. -

Kyelin and Hunter rebuilt our pond with a bio filter and did an amazing job. After many attempts to clean and clear our pond, Mid south ponds were able to do the work for us and made it beautiful. Thanks guys !

Hunter and his assistant from Midsouth Ponds did an excellent job on our pond. They first removed the netting that had been previously installed in the Fall and they thoroughly cleaned the pond which had not been cleaned in three years. Because the pond’s 20 years old, it is surrounded by mature plants of all sorts and trees and we were pleased that the guys were very careful not to do any harm. We were impressed that they had a very large holding container and were able to pump much of the pond’s clear water into that container and then return it rather than having to refill it with chlorinated tap water. They captured our Koi w/o doing any harm and returned them safely back to the pond. Our grandson is pleased and look who showed up in midtown this morning.

We have a built-in brick fish pond on our patio and it was losing water and obviously had a hole in the liner somewhere so we contacted Mid-South Ponds. They confirmed there was a hole in the liner. When they replaced it, they chipped a lot of bricks on the top layer while trying to get the metal ring out that held the liner in place. I contacted them and spoke to the owner, Bubba, and they admitted fault and came back out to replace the top layer. I was told they were getting a third-party bricklayer because they didn’t have one on staff, yet later realized the person who did the bricklaying works for them. The entire thing looks like a mess. They dripped concrete/mortar all over our patio and down the sides of the pond and they cracked several bricks when they were removing the top layer, but instead of properly repairing it, they just slapped more mortar on and put a new top layer of bricks to replace all the ones they broke.
I contacted them multiple times and pleaded with the owner, Bubba , to come out himself and look, but he never would. I’ve continued to attempt to contact and message them, but they continue to ignore me.
Also, when they were draining the pond initially to do the work, they accidentally flushed several of our fish down our French drains.
All that said, we still paid them almost $1500 to be left with a complete eyesore.
We did a lot of research before we chose to use them based on pictures they share on their website of work they have “done”. We later were told by another company that several of the pictures they share are stock images and not actually work they have done.
… this is not just an impulsive post by a dissatisfied customer. I’ve waited over two years to give them the opportunity to make things right before finally deciding to leave a review.
I’ve attached multiple pictures. The ones with all the chipped bricks are from when they first came to replace the liner. The ones with crumbling, bricks and smeared mortar are from when they came to attempt to repair what they messed up the first time. The picture of the hole in the liner with the blue screw is from after their first attempt at replacing it. -
Outstanding Work – My Dream Swim Pond Come to Life!
We couldn’t be happier with the recreational swim pond Midsouth Ponds helped build for us From start to the final touches, the team was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly easy to work with. They listened closely to what I wanted and delivered beyond expectations.
The craftsmanship is top-notch—the pond looks natural, beautiful, and is perfectly functional for swimming and relaxing. It’s quickly become the centerpiece of my property and a favorite hangout spot for friends and family.
If you're considering a swim pond or any type of water feature, I highly recommend Midsouth Ponds. Their attention to detail and passion for what they do really shows in their work. Truly a 5-star experience from start to -

The actual service is vastly different from the pretty pictures on the website and the glowing reviews online. Larry was asked to get our yard ready for the Spring, including mowing the yard, treating for weeds, trimming the hedges, cleaning out flower beds, and putting down mulch. He started on a Monday with cutting the yard and spraying. It was cut, but not nearly as manicured as when my husband does it or when we have used other services. He didn't come back until Saturday, even though there were 3 sunny days in between. Saturday he put down mulch on the front flower beds, but didn't trim the hedges. The back beds were untouched. I am not certain if he cleaned the front beds out or just put the mulch on top of the weeds. Monday he came back and trimmed hedges (leaving a few of them "lopsided") and started on one flower bed in the back. Then he left without saying a word. At the rate he was going, by the time he finished it would be time to cut the grass again. Needless to say we are just going to cut our losses and move on.
