We had Woodland Tree Service out to clear some trees and overgrown areas by our pond. From the beginning, Teran was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and focused on what our goals were and what was best for the terrain of our land. He and his crew were fantastic to work with and not only met our expectations but exceeded them in every aspect. They were courteous, timely, and went above and beyond what they said they would do. Working with them was one of the best experiences we’ve had with any contractor in the area. We would highly recommend their services and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again in the future. Can’t say enough good things about Woodland Tree Service.

Fair prices on Firewood & Friendly staff who load it for you. You would come out better buying a half pallet for $50 or a whole pallet for $100 of long lasting wood than continuously spending $20 for 15 small pieces at home depot or Lowes.

I hired them to trim a tree. They cut it back just as I asked and did a great job of cleaning up. They are hard working, reasonably priced, and professional.

After the scare of the last ice storm I decided to have the whole tree removed. Even though I had been happy with Woodland in the past I still got quotes from 7 companies. This was a very large tree and knew it was gonna be very expensive. I was happy when I got Woodland's quote. Their quote was lower than all the other companies. Their quote was thousands of dollars cheaper than at least one of the other companies.

I highly recommend them and will use them again.

Woodland has helped us over the years with two massive fallen oaks. First in 2018 and latest in September 2024. In each case they were excellent. Everyone they sent to our property was courteous, prompt and professional. The debris was removed completely and the worker who handled the final phase, thanked us for our business. Everyone is invested in the final result rather than just their portion of the project. And, we received a call from the company president to verify that all was finished to our satisfaction… on Saturday!

When i reached out to Woodland tree for a quote, i was expecting the worst. Our trees were in need of some serious TLC and the last quotes I'd gotten had been really out there. The man that came out to take a look at our three trees was on time, polite, and happy to answer all my questions.
The quote was very reasonable and we went with all the recommended services, as our trees are our favorite part about our yard.
The day of the trimmings- the crew was a little early (!) and ready to get down to business. It was a 100 degree day, but they were hard at it and answered all the random tree questions I had. they did an AMAZING job (check the before and after photos I've included) and cleaned up so well- i mean, they cleaned up some piles of twigs and leaves they didn't even make!
I would 10 out of 10 recommend them to anyone wanting to have work on their trees and we will definitely be using them for all further maintenance on our trees.

We asked Woodland to remove a very large pecan tree that was growing only a few feet from our pool retaining wall and our Association’s 8’ brick wall on the other side. Not a problem….bring a large crane in outside the Association’s wall. Tie up a very large limb where the crane can balance it, cut it, lift it and place it outside the Association’s wall to be cut up and loaded. Then on to the next. When there are no more limbs, cut the stump near ground level and take it over the wall as well. The crane then lifted a huge stump grinder into our backyard to finish the work.

The crew did a fantastic job, and left our yard and pool in perfect order. Yes, we highly recommend Woodland Trees.

Pallet = $100. 1/2 Pallet = $60. This beats the bundles I've been getting from the grocery stores. And don't let the parking lot fool you ... their office inside is BEAUTIFUL!

We just had 2 large trees taken down that required a crane (one very close to the house). Once again, the Woodland crew was very professional, precise in their work, and very thoughtful of taking care of the landscaping and grass. This is probably the 10th time I have used Woodland over the past 15 years or so and every time they exceed expectations. If you use Woodland, you will not be let down or have to worry about damage or cleanup. Highly recommended!

I had a massive red oak struck by lightning hanging over my house. Taren came the same day and gave me a fair price and his crew was extremely professional and completed the work very quickly and there was no trace of the tree left when they were done. The whole process was seamless and extremely easy for myself as a homeowner. I highly recommend this team.

Very professional, on time and excellent job. We moved from California to Memphis and we didn’t had so many big trees there. Our property now has several big trees (around 7) they trimmed them fast and exactly where we wanted. I recommend them for any tree services. And a very good price. This is easily the best arborist company in the area. The Woodland Tree people are ultimate professionals. One could not wish for a better experience. The project for which we engaged them was not cheap, but it was worth every penny. The workers were extremely careful not to damage any surrounding plants, trees, or structures. The yard was left spotless when they were done. It was a pleasure to talk to the crew foreman. Excellent all the way around.

Update February 11, 2026: We used Woodland Tree Service again, following the massive ice storm that hit the Oxford area badly late last month. The damage to trees and landscape is unbelievable all around, including our place--huge destruction everywhere. Owner Terran Arwood's bid struck me initially as pretty high, but when a 12-man team showed up and worked non-stop for two solid days, it seemed more than reasonable and very fair. Amazing work. These guys are professionals, love trees, and have all the equipment one can imagine. At one point we had four climbers up in four different trees, each with ground-crew assistance. They don't butcher trees but trim carefully and no more than necessary. Everything now looks like it got a good haircut, but the overall effect is extraordinary and back to what it was before. Highly recommended.

I offer a 5-star recommendation to Woodland Tree Service, and express my gratitude to the owner, Terran Arwood, for clearing the egress points and alleyway to my residential community following the debilitating snow/ice event in January. Prompt, professional estimate. Great work. They showed up 2 days after a.nafural disaster. Worked closely and knowledgably with insurance company. When Woodland showed up and started working - crane, climbers, etc -- the other crews in the neighborhood stopped working and pulled out their cell phones and started filming.
