Firstly I think they charge too much for a private home.
Their cleaning is not consistent, one day they do a good job, but the next time not so good. I have had whole rooms skipped. Most times there is at least one windowsill not cleaned.

Angelina is so great! Always glad when she comes as I confidently know my home will sparkle. Really been pleased with the service

Nothing special. Have had to send in a few complaints about cleaning and even though I was assured it was noted and would get better it did not. They keep calling me during the day when I have specific you asked them not to because I am a teacher another not able to answer. I was given a day change so they could give me a better cleaning team and that day I was VERY satisfied but 2 weeks later the same team I had complained about was sent back and again it was unsatisfactory. I don’t know why they ask me my opinion and take notes if no one seems to read the notes. Once I was told the team would be there about 2:30 pm even though I was specific with an 3 pm exit time. They said they did not have it in their notes. Who keeps track of all these notes and why ask me if you are just going to ignore me. Most of the time the links they send me for for the survey do not work. Considering changing cleaning companies when the year contract is over

Thank you Merry Maids for being an excellent cleaning service. This was my first time to use your service to do basic cleaning - dusting, vacuuming, bathroom, etc. Your employee Linda was on time, pleasant, and efficient in her cleaning. I would definitely use your services again.

COMPLAINT: I want to take this opportunity to complain about lack of service (cleaning and customer related). I was scheduled for cleaning in Collierville, TN, yesterday, 4/19/16. When speaking to person(s) to confirm appointment, I expressed concern for lack of cleaning / poor service and detail to my home. The cleaning person was sent to my home yesterday and did a horrible job. As advised by Merry Maids, ALWAYS contact if there was an issue. Yesterday evening I spoke with Kim Robertson to advise poor cleaning. She requested I send photos of areas in question so that she could forward for review/action. I did so. My kitchen is still filthy (floors dirty, white cabinets not cleaned left with marks, troughs(?) to open drawers/cabinets were not cleaned at all. Bathroom shower stalls dull with soap scum. I was told on Monday the team would focus on areas of concern. They did NOT. I have yet to hear from someone today after speaking at length about poor service last evening. I want someone to come back and my apartment CLEANED. It's embarrassing when I tell people that visit my home "Merry Maids" is responsible for cleaning. I need a call from someone with decision making authority to call me ASAP. Thank you. .

Merry Maids is the only service I will use. Freddy is meticulous, friendly, and professional. I can always count on her for a job well done. I truly appreciate her.

Somewhat superficial cleaning. My house is small and not a lot of places to put things. However, they are suppose to give special care to one room each time that they come. They could at least do a super good straightening and cleaning to one corner on that day. Also, I thought they were supposed to use own nontoxic cleaning solution. I don’t think bleach fits the bill.

Once again, I had a stressful day because of Merry Maids. My time slot was 1-3, but at 9:30 AM I got a text that my crew was on the way. Then I got another text that they would be at my home at 10:32AM. They never showed, you never called, and I missed a very important occasion waiting....
I called the office around 10:45 and was told that the first and second texts were mistakes, and some one would be at my house at 1:00PM. SOMEONE SHOULD HAVE CALLED ME! I should not have had to make the call. Didn’t show until 2:00PM. There were supposed to be 2 people, but only Tammy came (she did a nice job). So I am so dissatisfied, I am not sure what my next move will be.

It amazes me that there are reviews that are higher than 1 star for this company. we have been under contract with Merry Maids for almost a year. I keep telling myself it will get better, but it has not! When we do get someone to clean, it is just an average service. definitely not better than I clean my house on a weekly basis. There have been 3 TIMES that they have "showed up" to clean our home and our account was charged but they never came! Our nanny is at home with our children 24/7. EVERYTIME I call to tell them that no one came and we need to schedule someone to come out to clean, they say no one is available until our next cleaning date. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Promised deep cleaning but only standard cleaning was performed. Only one person showed up for work when they promised four. Did not clean freezer. They promised to bring a tool to help clean ceiling. I ended up having to purchase the tool myself. The carpet was only superficially vacuumed, and carpet deep cleaning was never performed. Was not responsive when I called before closing time. Will file complaint to corporate office and if necessary to the FTC.

Freddie has been cleaning my house weekly for a long time. She does an excellent job. She is dependable, precise and overall does a fantastic job.
I love coming home❤️

I was pleased with the first cleaning of my condo by 3 women. One of them was first day on the job which I do understand they have to begin somewhere. The first time cleaning charge was much more than I have paid for other locations. I am curious now if the regular charge will be less?

Melissa always does an excellent cleaning—today, for example, she vacuumed under my living room couch without my having to ask her to do so. She also lets me know when she is on her way which allows me to exercise prior to her arrival. I am grateful to Merry Maids for working around my somewhat complex schedule and for assigning Melissa to me for these last several years.

Vanecia and Erica were great and professional. They cleaned my apartment and it was spotless. Very friendly. Will ask for them again!

Paid for deep cleaning along with inside of refrigerator, ovens, and cabinet drawers. The cleaners did a poor job and didn’t clean the ovens at all. They gave a $80 refund for the ovens but as I start to clean myself I find there are more things that weren’t cleaned. Parts of the kitchen floor, parts of rooms were not vacuumed. I paid for the laundry room to get cleaned and I don’t think it was touched at all. We paid $600 when they only did about $100 worth of work. Never again!!!

Linda came to me with a big smile and a great personality. She did a great job of cleaning. When she left everything was clean and she did a better job than any one else I've used before. They're prices are lower than all the other companies I called. Thank you Merry Maids!!

Looking for a job well done, on time and at an astonishing fair rate? Look no further. I'm a very picky person when it comes to cleanliness and order. The two ladies I encountered, Amber (who met with me to go over what I wanted done) and Freddie (who performed the tasks) couldn't have been nicer, friendlier or more efficient. They know what they're doing and made me feel confident that I'd chosen the right company. Fantastic, top-notch service at an astonishing low rate. What more could anyone want?

We were not happy with our recent experience with merry maids. We paid more than $700 for a deep clean and the only good that came of it was the floor was swept and vacuumed and the dusting was done. We pulled our couches out and there was still spots unswepted. The baseboards were still dirty, the shower and toilets weren’t all the way cleaned, kitchen counter still had crumbs and dust on it. When we called out and complained, they sent another person out to finish the job. After the second cleaning, the toilet still wasn’t finished and the shower “was too hard to clean”. I sprayed some Clorox spray on it and it cleaned it practically cleaned itself. My base boards are still dirty and it didn’t take but magic eraser to wipe it. We paid extra for the oven to be cleaned, and I had to do that myself after they left cause it didn’t get done. Then they suggested we have someone come out and clean again before we move. The job they did was not worth more than $100.
Would not suggest this company.

I can’t say enough Amazing things about My Merry Maids service. Merry Maids (Ms.Linda) has serviced my apartment for months... and after every service I am pleased and happier when I arrive home after a typically long work day. A lot of people don’t understand why I spend the money I do on this service. But, it’s worth every dollar... being able to work 40+ hours and come home to a deep cleaned home - is a feeling of relief unexplainable! Thank You! Thank You! I look forward to each visit like a kid on Christmas morning! Ms. Linda is Phenomenal!

I love the service that I receive from Freddie. I have had several that have come to clean for different times for one reason or another but I always change my schedule back for Freddie. She does an awesome job and I would recommend her for anyone . Thank you Freddie for being the person you are.......
