I called on Monday to get an estimated and Ronnie Toney came out the next day. Very professional and gave me my estimate. On today Bubba and his crew came out to do the work! Again professional and respectful! Work was completed and to my satisification! I would recommend this company to everyone!

Very professional company from sales to the crew doing the work. Climbers and ground crew practice good safety and go above and beyond to get job completed exceptionally! Also use for insect control on trees including Crete Myrtle scale for years. There are approximately 60 on the property which had a bad infestation of scale. Jones bros. Started treating and continue with no scale since. Very happy with service.

I’m so pleased with my recent experience with this company. They responded to my email quickly and showed up on time for both the estimate and to complete the work. One of the workers noticed that the recent high winds had knocked my attic window screen down and kindly offered to replace it for me. My trees look terrific because they did such a professional job trimming them. I would definitely recommend this company.

A tree fell on my daughter-in-law's truck & they were so helpful! Promt service & very kind! The 4 guys that brought a crane to lift the tree, we're very professional & I feel they need a raise. I didn't get their name, wish I had. I even tried to tip & they wouldn't accept. Thank all of you so much!

I have been using Jones’s bros/Davey for over 30 years. They (Michael Jurgens and crews) have just completed my latest job which was the removal of a large oak and a lager gum tree along with a stump. Today they (Mr Young and Danny)have just completed removal of stump and crepe Myrtle’s I have always been very satisfied and highly recommend. They try to please.

The three men who trimmed my trees, Manuel, Luis, and Johnathan, were extremely progressional and courteous. They did an outstanding job with all of my trees and cleaned up every leaf and branch afterwards. They carefully placed plywood so that their big truck left no marks or ruts in the yard. I recommend them highly!

They were able to schedule my tree removal sooner than I expected. The job was done quickly. Very pleased with the results.

Jose and Manuel(SP?) did a great job. They arrived as scheduled. Were very polite, highly customer oriented,consientious in their work and very accomodating to make sure I was happy with their work. They cleaned up my yard and driveway after they had finished the tree trimming. By the way they used a bucket truck so that my tree would not suffer any damage if done the usual way with spiked boots to climb the tree.
I would not hesitate to use them again and feel confident recommending them to others.

The gentleman who cut down our tree did excellent work!! He was very efficient and did a first class job! I would highly recommend him to anyone needing tree work! This is per my husband who was home at the time the work was being done! He was very impressed and was so sorry he didn't catch the man's name.

Davey has taken excellent care of the several large trees on our property in Germantown. We have lived here for 45 years and they have kept our trees well trimmed and recommended preventative measures that have saved our house from severe damage thru several storms over the years. And they clean up so thoroughly you would never know they were there. Highly recommended.

Great team. Professional, worked safely, cordial and thorough! Had two large trees and two smaller remove in back. Biggest was 90’ tall. Protected driveway and yard with plywood/ rubber mats that heavier equipment drove on. VERY careful with yard fencing next to trees and experienced no damage. Danny ground out the stumps today and was super! Also removed exposed tree roots. Both teams cleaned up after their work. Davey is worth the price if you want it done safely and correctly. Very friendly and professional to work with. Ronnie was extremely knowledgeable and fair when he came out to give me a quote. After the work, the Trees looked great, they left no mess, and they even blew the leaves off my roof! They went above and beyond. I also think the price was very competitive for the level of service they provided.

The most impressive things that impressed me about Davey Tree were:
1. They listened accurately related to what we needed done.
2.They did what they said they would do.
3. They moved and then replaced patio furniture in order to not damage the furniture.
4. They did an excellent job of not damaging existing plants and flowers.
5. They cleaned up extremely well afterwards.
6. We were very pleased with the three-person crew. They were courteous, communicated well, and professional. Highly recommend.

Frustrating- do not recommend!

Important note: I am adding this first because it's important for someone looking for a tree service. I was told by Christi that, even if we scheduled a date of service, there is no guarantees on when they would come out. They have cancelled twice and now told me they are on a 2 week job. Just be aware.

---- So here's my experience
We shared a job with a neighbor to have a cluster of trees cut down. Jones Brothers completed part of the project but has not been back to finish the job.

This is a problem for us because we still have a Sweetgum tree hanging over our property from part of the job that hasn't been completed and they are about to fall everywhere on our new sod.

We were specific with Jones Brothers that we wanted all of the sweetgum tree off of our property. We were specific about this before we agreed to use them. We told them, cutting the tree down was preventative. Trimming the sweetgum back was cosmetic and the important part of the job. We were assured they understood this.

We should have hired someone else.

Do not recommend. Nothing but aggravation.

We have been customers of this company for many years and have always been pleased with their work. This time we had some large oak trees in our front yard thinned and the canopy raised. They did an excellent job, even cleaning up every single twig on the street.

We are very pleased with the lawn service provided by Davey Tree. They go the second mile to address our lawn issues that have occurred over the years.

They did a great job and handled everything on the list and began around 8:30 a.m. and were finished around 2:30 p.m. They also cleaned everything up in record time. I would recommend Davey to anyone.

The guys showed up early, worked quickly to prune my crepe myrtle, and did a great job of cleaning up after themselves. My backyard looked much better after they left.

Davey must be the most professional tree service in Memphis. An arborist walks through the yard having discussions and making recommendations and provides a detailed work order of agreed upon work. The work crew was experienced and pleasant to work with. While my 100 foot oaks are challenging, they did very good work trimming deadwood and pruning and clean up thoroughly. This is why they enjoy such a good reputation.

For multiple years I've had a positive experience with Davey Tree/Jones Bros.
Yesterday and today were no exception. Some difficult tree work was done by a crew that included Ramon, Richard, Clint and Dustin. Their skill and experience shows in their preparation, the safety steps they take and completing difficult tree work in a professional manner. May I also say they do so with a smile!
I hope the management team will take the time to thank each of these men for the work they have done for me.
Please give a shout out to my arborist Michael Jurgens for always being there when I have questions and answering my calls, and to Haley and Delores who make calling the office easy...
