Huge selection and much better pricing than Martin's or any big box store. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable on the plants, trees & shrubs. I've gotten Mulch here before as well and it does good in the season

Patterson’s Garden Co has become my go to for gift shopping! They have a great selection of houseplants, jams, Rifle Paper Co, Daily Grace Co, Melissa and Doug, and everything in between! I’ve never walked out empty handed! The owners are incredibly sweet and all the employees are so kind and helpful!

This is now my new go- to place for annuals, perennials....beautiful store and the staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are affordable too. You won't be disappointed!!

My daughter was married at the nearby White Dove Barn. Instead of lots of expensive flowers that die, we worked with Sarah to bring in plants, tall evergreens and trees. The big white barn looked absolutely beautiful with all the greenery!! They delivered and picked up all the plants at a very reasonable cost. I cannot stress how wonderful they were to work with. Would use them again in a heartbeat. Thank you Sarah!!!

We needed mulch for a new playset. I didn’t want to have to buy bags and bags at the big box store, drive them all the way home only to lug them out of the car, rip open all the bags and then have to throw all that plastic away. I drive by Patterson’s every day so I thought I’d stop in and see if they could help me with the mulch I needed. Alas, we arrived just after 4p, which is when they close. I called the next day to inquire about pricing and delivery. They were not only able to calculate how much mulch I needed, they said they could deliver it the same day! The mulch was a great value, it got delivered the same day, and they conveniently placed it right by the playset! The friendly service will definitely have me going back to Patterson’s for my future garden needs!

So thankful to have stumbled upon this nursery. Sarah, Blake and staff are not only extremely kind, (we arrived near closing time and were warmly greeted and cared for until well after closing) they are beyond knowledgeable on all the plants, trees and products in the nursery. Truly a wonderful experience - thank you!

This is one of the best places to go locally for mulch, plants, trees and other landscaping supplies.
Ms. Penny is very knowledgeable and she will help however she can. Closed on Sundays and closes earlier on weekdays than the big box stores. You can access their parking area either from the front on Lascassas Hwy. Or at the rear on Wenlon Dr/Pitts lane from N. Tennessee Blvd. This is helpful to remember (on Saturdays especially) since many people are filling the spaces up, the entrance lined with trucks and/or trailers to buy their Various types of mulch by the front loader scoop-fulls. Wear comfortable shoes, and be prepared to encounter some uneven terrain and be prepared to get a little dirty if it's recently rained.
Pricing is reasonable and competitive. I've had great success with the various annuals and perennials I've bought from here over the span of the last 5 years.
The quality and health of the plants have been noticably better than the stock found I've seen in "the garden center's and lawn & outdoor departments" at the area chain and big-box retail stores. Support your local small business and go Check them out!

So far we have enjoyed two trips to Pattersons. The staff are so helpful. Their product line is exactly what we were looking for and the advice they provided was helpful. We will return, for sure.

I haven't even been to Patterson's Garden Co. however by a phone call I made..I can tell they have A+ customer service. Sarah was so helpful with information on a plant I am considering and she took my name down to grow the plant and let me know when I will be able to go pick it up.(Even though I couldn't tell her if I needed one or 10 plants..she said not to worry because they would grow enough of this "Newly Featured" plant.
Just from the one phone call..I know this will be my new Garden Center to shop.
