Plumbing reviews in Murfreesboro, Tennessee

They did the installs in my subdivision, my main waterline came apart under the slab foundation. Built in 2018, they did not sleeve the main water line to the service and have multiple connections in the main line so now it will have to be replaced, it crosses over the main sewer line that it's not supposed to be with in 10ft of.
When I called the secretary was rude and no help. They do not follow code as My new plumber discovered yesterday. I am not sure how they passed inspection but I am contacting a lawyer today. -
Walter Hill installed a tankless water heater in our new build home in Murfreesboro. We had some vibration issues when it kicked on during high demand. As soon as I let Walter Hill know, they quickly responded and replaced the unit. Very happy with the communication, speed, and professionalism!

This is the worse plumbing company in the world. They installed the plumbing on our brand new Landmark home. We had a clogged toilet that caused sewage to come through our shower and tub. The builders didn’t respond in a timely manner so we had to contact another plumber who didn’t find anything causing the clog but did recommend seeing the pipes with a camera. The builder finally called back after our plumber left. That’s when they sent this rude guy from Walter Plumbing. He didn’t find anything but one wipe and told us that could’ve been the issue. One wipe will not cause that nor would tampons. The pipes aren’t supporting these water saver toilets and they know that. Landmark and Walter Hill are working together on denying claims and robbing customers for money. They done just enough to pass code which was a cheap job. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY for your plumbing needs.

Terrible customer service. Call for an issue and it was just outside the one year on new construction. They pretty much said sorry about your luck. Pretty much in a guest shower we never used, the water gets warm, but not hot. I think if I could turn the handle more, it would get hot. Just the way it was installed. But again, outside of 1 year, not their problem, even though it was clearly their screwup.

Mike, Jeff and Dwight went above and beyond to help us during a very stressful problem. We are so grateful for their swift help, honesty and great work. It's nice to know there are people like them in the world. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone.
-
The most unreliable and dishonest company. I was told one thing (which would have been covered under my warranty) and then when it came time to actually fix the issue the company went back on their word and the repair was not covered so we were out a ton of money because of their mistake. Plus it took them two weeks to get in touch with us and we had to do all the communicating.

Had a frozen water spigot on our house from not being able to disconnect our hose while we were on vacation. These guys came over in less than an hour fixed the problem and were super nice and respectful. Honest folks and good people. Highly recommended!

Would not recommend this plumber to anyone, bigger doesn’t mean better. Low quality plumber that doesn’t stand behind their work. If you want a good plumber…call TLH, as they corrected all of the issues WHP created.

Horrible. Customer service is terrible and the attitudes of the staff are -10/10. There is a reason their reviews are so bad. Read them before considering hiring these unprofessional people.

Been living in my home for less than a month. New construction. Plumbing was done by Walter Hill. I found this out from the builder after filing a warranty request. The home's water pressure was noticeably low. I had another very reputable and well known certified plumbing company come check the pressure and to adjust. I was shown the PRV(pressure regulator valve) by the on site plumber and was told 1. "It's a PRV for an RV camper" 2."The regulator isn't rated for the proper amount of flow for a house." Shocked to hear I had an RV part installed on my home I asked the plumber there not to replace it because I wanted to see if the warranty would cover its replacement first, this way I didn't void any home warranty by replacing it myself. I looked into this more online and found the plumbers statement to be true, based on photos of RV regulators vs Home PRV's and YouTube videos referencing both types of regulators.
After filling out the warranty form, someone from Walter Hill Plumbing called me. I didn't clearly understand them when they gave their name unfortunately but it was a middle aged/older man. Instantly after me saying "Hello" he had an attitude. "I got a call about your PRV...." As I went on to explain to him what was explained to me by the other plumber, he repeatedly interrupted me until I just stopped talking. Talked over me. Told me the certified plumber I had over "wasn't certified" and doesn't know what he's talking about and that he's(Walter Hill) the professional and that I dont know what I'm talking about and told me I tested the pressure wrong, even though 3 different websites say to do exactly what I did and that if that method wasn't an option THEN try the way he suggested. After I confronted him about his tone and attitude, he refused to acknowledge he had any kind of argumentative tone or attitude and then admitted he was upset because I'm saying he's "putting RV parts on homes" when he's not. When I asked "so what's the difference between an RV regulator and a Home regulator he, believe it or not, said "I don't know"... after berating me telling me he's the professional and that I don't know what I'm talking about and calling other (better rated)reputable plumbers "not certified"... then says he doesn't know the difference. He then says "you think it would have passed inspection if it was wrong, you think an inspector wouldn't have said something. It's brand new it's correct"... I immediately told him we hired an independent inspection and they DID find code violations! Unfortunately, this was missed, yes. He continued to try to talk over me again and again, so I told him he wouldn't be anywhere near my house after this discussion, so don't worry about it. He hung up on me, feeling was mutual, but unprofessional to say the least. After reading the other poor reviews, it's clear this company(assuming family run) has attitude issues. Several 1star reviews documenting the same kind of argumentative, disrespectful, you can't tell me nothing type of attitude. Instead of simply asking how he can help make this better, he wanted to argue who's right and wrong and who's a real certified plumber. I'll be sure to notify all my neighbors new builds to check their PRV's. -
Gentleman showed up on time, completed the repair in a very timely manner for half of what I was quoted by another company. I would highly recommend and will be calling Walter Hill for any plumbing needs in the future.
-
The best plumbing company in town!! They were wonderful to work with in the build of our new home. Great team all around from management to installers to the office. Highly recommend this company.

Jose was kind, professional, and on time. He fixed several issues in my home in 30 minutes. I would highly recommend Jose & Walter Hill Plumbing!
-
They did our plumbing for our new build in 2017 with Lee Douglas. Wonderful people. Called for repairs, they recommended a company.
That didn’t go well, but no fault of theirs. I made them aware of our experience with the recommended company. Trish was super nice, and very helpful both interactions! -
Great job

Very rude, did not fix the issue and when confronted about the fact that he had failed to fix the problem and in fact made it worse he started name calling. Will not use again. Buyer beware!

Would have given a minus 5 if possible.... had a leak in an upstairs shower.... One Call came... cut a hole in the kitchen ceiling remo ed the lever to turn the shower on said they found the problem and needed a rebuild kit.... left the level out ..... left the hole in the ceiling.... here we are nearly three months later and all I have is a hole in the ceiling, a shower lever on the kitchen counter and a $149 charge.... total garbage DO NOT USE !!

I had to give a 1 star because it wouldn't let me give zero. Worst service EVER did not check anything out just glanced in my bathroom than wrote out a 850.00 Bill for how much it would cost to fix something he did not check! They will gladly take your 49 dollars for doing nothing at all.
