I got great same day service as Alan took care of my needs. He was quick and very knowledgeable and made sure my issues were resolved. I would definitely recommend Hardy Electric to anyone who needs electrical services!

Mr. Hardy is A-MA-ZING!! I frantically called with an issue regarding my smoke detectors. The on-going chirping noise was driving me insane and Mr. Hardy was polite, calm and allowed me to explain. He took time out of his day to help me trouble-shoot the issue. He patiently asked me questions, waited for me to test his suggestions and after several minutes, we identified the culprit! It wasn't the smoke detectors after all, it was the carbon monoxide detector. I am so very thankful and relieved to know that the problem was minor but even more thankful for Mr. Hardy's expertise and kindness. When I have any electrical needs in the future, he will definitely be my first call! He was such a blessing to me and sharing my experience by leaving a review is the least I can do.

Side note: Before calling Mr. Hardy I called another company where the technician talked over me, immediately told me that they were booked at least a week out and stated that they would need to charge a $175 service call fee, just to stop by. I said no thank you and continued my search. I'm so glad I did!!

Alan arrived almost immediately to help us first thing on a Monday morning. He was incredibly professional, very knowledgable, fixed all of our issues within the hour and we had a great conversation throughout! Cannot recommend him enough, definitely our go to man from now on!

Alan came out to troubleshoot an issue with the light in my hallway. I had already had another company come out who couldn’t resolve it. It took Alan just a few minutes to figure out the issue and get it repaired! He was professional, extremely knowledgeable, and we had a great conversation while he was working. I highly recommend his company for all your electrical needs!

I can not recommend Alan Hardy of Hardy Electric enough! He is thorough, knowledgeable, very kind, and always comes out the day we call. We had a really tricky electrical issue recently and he spent a lot of time addressing and figuring out the exact cause of the problem. His prices are very reasonable and offers free consultations on products as well. He’s our go to electrician from now on and I encourage anyone in the Nashville area to look him up for all your electrical needs!

I called Allan at 7 am, he arrived to my house by 8:30 am the same day. He was absolutely wonderful with my renters, and educated them. I had recently gotten a quote that my breaker panel had to be replaced for $8,000. Alan came and fixed a breaker that it turned out didn’t even need to be replaced. He is a genuine electrician that you can trust. I will be using him only from here on out!

Allan is a wonderful electrician and an even better person. He’s attentive, making you a priority and solving problems efficiently. His prices are fair, and he provides the best service possible. Allan has installed my washer/dryer, light fixtures, and run wiring for outdoor fans. His experience is second to none. You won’t be disappointed if you choose Allan.

I was having problems with outlets in my downstairs condo. The portable fan I was using slow down and almost stopped. I tried on other outlets downstairs and just did not work. I called and spoke to the owner. After explaining to him what was going on he gave me suggestions on how to check to see if I was having a problem downstairs by going upstairs and trying it again. The short of the story is it was the fan and not the electrical. I called him back and thanked him for trying to walk me through this and told him most places would’ve just sent electrician and charge me for a service call when it was simply a fan going out. If you’re having issues you need to give these people a call they are honest and that’s something we don’t see every day. And to add it’s not too often that you get the owner of the company answering the phones and being as kind thank you again.

Mr. Hardy was super knowledgeable and he was on-time and fixed our problem in a timely manner. He also was very friendly and personable. Highly recommend!

He replaced three light fixtures in our home for a reasonable price and even replaced a switch free of charge since I didn’t have the one I needed ready. Alan Hardy is the best of the best!! He is very personable and knows his stuff! He was in and out quickly and fixed everything we needed (when things plugged in to outlet, the lights go out in our master bath and the office short circuits once in a while). Very fair priced and could come day of! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Will continue to call him as long as we live here.

Alan Hardy is top notch! First, he's very nice, you'll notice that right away. You'll also notice that he's prompt, he is the same day electrician after all. We had an issue at our house, we called and left a message at 10pm and he was at the house by 8:45am the next morning. He had the issue resolved quickly, which is great, but he also explained everything he was doing very clearly, and offered a bunch of other useful advice as well.

I will absolutely be calling Alan again when I have an issue in the future.

Mr Hardy answered the phone and scheduled my appointment. He was the one to do the job and he was friendly, on time, and had the exact part I needed to hang my finicky fan. I would use him again for sure. Only thing was he only accepts cash or check and I wasnt made aware of that when I scheduled. Still great service!

Called and spoke to the owner, Alan, who was prompt, courteous and professional. He went above & beyond to come out to my condo and was able to fix my issue within ONE HOUR of my original call. I called Alan having never been a customer and he was able to be at my place within the hour and fixed my issue. He did excellent work at a fair price. Beyond his excellent work in fixing my electrical problem, Alan is a kind person and he is old-school Nashville, and sharing some old Nashville stories was refreshing to this Nashville native.

I had Hardy Electric out a couple years ago to fix my power. I thought I wrote a review back then. I have nothing but good things to say about Alan. Our condo lost power in half of the room. He did a great job troubleshooting the problem starting with the GFIs to our fuse box, testing anything that could be a potential problem along the way. He was very knowledgeable and refused to give up until he solved the problem. His pricing was very fair and he was enjoyable to have around to hear about his time in TN and his family! He is the first person I recommend when I hear someone is having electrical issues.

Mr. Hardy saved our whole week repairing the disconnect to our new water heater after another service company's poor installation damaged the surrounding circuitry from water leaks. Alan was quick, effective and sweet as can be - could not recommend more!

Excellent service - a whole line of outlets went out and we couldn't fix it with a simple flip of a breaker, but Alan found a loose neutral wire behind the breaker box (something I never would have found). Fast and professional - happy to recommend Hardy.

When my husband called Mr. Hardy, he answered the phone right away and told us he would be at our house in an hour. Mr. Hardy came out to our house the same day and fixed replaced our breaker / installed a GFCI outlet. He has years of experience and is extremely knowledgeable. It's nice that you call the number listed online and get to speak to the owner of the company, as he's the one doing the repair work and coming out to your house.
Avoid using large companies that only care about money and use Hardy Electric! We will be using them for all of our electrical needs moving forward.
